This is an excellent phone that is easy to use at a budget friendly price. With msot smart phones being at least £100 plus these days, I was thrilled to find a Huawei at a price that I could afford after hearing how reliable they are.I use my phone for texts, calls, social media, and mobilke banking. I have found that the fingerprint scanner adds an extra layer of security for me so far as my mobile banking is concerned. I felt like a spy or some sort of futuristic space station employee when setting up the scanner and using it for the first time! I've never had one before (can you tell?) but I am thrilled to bits with how well it works and how safe it has made my personal details feel.It also has a pin lock system as a handy backup. The camera is also really swish with good zooming capabilities. However I don't use Instagram or anything, I just use the camera for personal pics (of the family dog or nice scenic views) but I feel this is more than adequate for my needs! It has a nice large screen which I love, as I wear glasses so the extra centimetres have made a difference. It is also so light compared to my old Nokia 3!It comes with excellent memory too; sometimes phones don't have the capacity for more than four or five apps, but this has more than enough room for all your needs! All in all I am CHUFFED to bits with this purchase, I can't think of any bad qualities that this nifty phone has, and I believe it was well worth the money. :) 5 big golden shiny stars from me!

It arrived quickly and set up was really easy. I was a bit dubious as there was very little information in the instruction booklet. I was able to insert the sim card (after getting help on u-tube) I was trying to fit it in the wrong way round. Once I turned it on there was step by step set-up instructions. I was even able to copy over most of the contents of my old phone (how clever is that?) I took a photo to see what it was like and it is very clear - much better than my old phone. I did have to download a few apps that didn't transfer over. The speed was quick. It came with 70% power and I did all the set-up and transfer of files it was still on 65%. I did charge it after that and it got to 100% really quickly. It had google on it and my gmail account worked (I was a bit worried about that because of all that has been in the press lately). So I am now the proud owner of a "Warh-way" phone and so far am loving it. Not too worried about security issues as there is nothing "top-secret" on my phone. I have virus protection and fingers crossed!! I don't use my phone for buying things or banking, so I should be OK. I think it is very good for the money I spent. I will update my review with a progress report in about six weeks.

After years with I phones I decided on a change. I wished I’d changed years ago. This phone is awesome, a nice HD 6 inch plus screen. The finger print reader is much better than the iPhone, works first time every time. Camera is awesome too. Not being controlled by everything Apple is wonderful. I’m in my 60s and have found loading everything afresh quite easy, only having a problem with my iCloud email, can’t remember my email password so I might just forget that one, not worth the stress. Managed my other email accounts very easily.I must say, I have only had the phone since Saturday (2 days) but I am more than happy with it, well worth the 5 stars.

Decent enough phone for the price. The screen is pretty good. Very crisp images. Easy to use and setup. The xtra expansion slot is great to give you more room for storage. Negatives- screen is not as hard wearing as higher end phones. It was scratched within a couple of hours of having it. But it has stood up well since and picked up no new scratches. The camera is fairly good though suffers with low light and night shots. The thing that annoys me most is the gyro in the phone. It can take such a long time for the phone to register that its been rotated, which is really annoying when watching movies or YouTube videos.

This review is only covering upgrade from an older phone. If you are considering an upgrade you might be worried about the hastle, worry not.The new phone arrived with 45% charge. Switched on I was asked if I wanted to clone an earlier phone.Without setting up WiFi or Data I just had to install Phone Clone app on the old phone, follow the prompts and job done. Well 90% anyway. It reported unsupported Apps and noted which these were. A quick install and everything was ready. Of course I then have to log in to each App on turn. After that it was just a question of learning its systems.

I am not a technie nerd so only wanted a basic item and it seems to do everything I want it to. Nice size and photos are really good quality. Only thing I am not keen on is all the security info required. I just want a phone that can send texts and emails and I can phone someone on, the rest is intrusive and I feel is unnecessary !! Then again I am not into loads of gadgets that are linked by accounts. Absolute nightmare for me when I forget a password to Google, Chrome or Microsoft ! I don't understand how they work and don't want my info everywhere !! Other than that, a nice phone !

I was looking for a a first phone for my son and after checking some phone shops they all recommended the Y6 if I was looking for something under £100.It seems like an excellent phone from from my use of it and he is really impressed with it. My wife has a Huawei P10 lite which she really likes but she thinks this one is a better phone. I think hers cost a bit more too, though it is a year or so older. For a phone under £100. I think this would be hard to beat. I've bought other cheaper brands for my parents in the past and it hasn't been worth it.

Only arrived yesterday, bought as a back up for my Samsung. Auto transfer of all my contacts, photos, music etc. I'm not exactly a technophile (i'm nearly 70) but I am getting to grips with this quite quickly. It's beautiful to handle, great 6" screen and very decent photo and video quality. Wide range of text sizes to help us more visually challenged.Don't know durable it will prove or care if all my state secrets are shared with the Chinese government. It seems a great budget level smartphone to me.

I am not really qualified to write an informed review as this is my first-ever Smartphone but the phone seems to have many features and it "bluetooths" with my six year old Hyundai I40 perfectly and easily. Some more expensive phones sometimes have problems in much newer cars! I only bought the phone to use "hands-free" in the car and to accept contactless payments with a Square device purchased separately. The only down-side is that answering a call indoors when on standby is over-complicated!

The second I've bought, one for me, one for my daughter after she was extremely let down by iPhone. Its a responsive phone, I like the camera much better than my old one and the battery life is excellent so I don't need to charge everyday. Not everything is perfect and when I am connected through my Bluetooth in the car the muic sounds off, like everyone is singing in the bathroom which my previous phone didn't! But hey I can live with that for the price. Worth it for the battery life alone.

I bought this as I had accidentally dropped my phone. I needed to get a phone so after looking around this was cheap and seemed to be a decent spec so got one. Apart from it not having masses of storage it runs at a fairly quick pace. Battery life is around a full day of use, and I do tend to use it quite a lot, and have Bluetooth on all day, which seems to be around average for a phone nowadays. All in all a good all round budget phone capable of lasting a full day with normal use.

The price I paid for it I thought it just be a cheap one just to use when I don’t have time charge my I phone up as they seem to run down a lot when on them all time I was on this phone for two days I never once needed to charge it which I thought was great especially if you ever go on a holiday maybe or working etc for people who do , it’s a great easy set up only thing is you don’t get finger scanner for apps but you can do a code for every app which I done it’s in your settings somewhere

I bought the Huawei Y6 as a replacement and a case ! Its a great replacement really good clear images and just like my old one to operate, the battery lasts much longer too, I was really pleased to find with a few clicks, all my data photo's and sd card was transferred to it, saving hour uponhour doing it, the only one not to go across was my too doo list, guess something I had , if you want a new phone with loads of memory this is the phone for you and it wont break the bank, get one !!

Love this phone i had never had a smartphone before as i always avoided them as i thought they would be difficult to use, but this is a doddle, one thing i will say is that it takes a Nano Sim Card in the 1st instance i went on to youtube to see how to modify my own Sim card. there were instructions as to how to cut the card and after a little modifying it worked i did get a new Sim from BT whom i am with but haven't even put it in yet in my opinion it's as good as the more expensive one's

Purchased this phone to replace.a Samsung Note II. Only because new bank apps not working with older android versions. The Y6 is a good replacement having all the attributes of the old phone and many more. It takes a lot of reading to set up functions. The Quick Set Up guide that comes with the phone is basic in the extreme. Best is to identify what you want to set up then consult the on-line version. Not as expensive as many other name brands it does the job extremely well. Recommend.
