I upgraded to the white iPhone 5 from my black iPhone 4 and I'm very glad I did! It is much faster, and the camera is much better. Initially the thing I first noticed was the speed (and of course the larger screen).I was worried about the larger screen at first, because I'm a petite lady and I didn't know whether it would be too big for me but it's perfectly fine, I can scroll from top to bottom with ease. The screen is stunning, being impressed with the iPhone 4 screen at first this is a definite improvement. Some people may find the lack of personalisation a negative point (if you compare to the likes of Android). Of course there's the standard wallpaper, ringtone and icon arranging customisation, but if you don't want to jail-break your iPhone, that is about all you can do. However iOS7 is coming out this fall, so maybe this upgrade will bring out more features. Also, I have heard about scratching to the black casing (even the guy at Carphone Warehouse told me that the white is a better option!), even when you are careful with the phone I've heard about it scratching easily. Always having a black phone, I decided to go for white to switch things up, but if the scratching wasn't a problem I would have seriously considered the black as it looks much sleeker. Also the phone is quite expensive (I believe £529 PAYG) but you can get a good deal with phone companies and contracts if that's your thing. If you want a beautiful, easy to use phone, I definitely recommend this. Having an HTC and a Blackberry (which always used to break down!) before my iPhones I can honestly say that I have had no problem with the iPhone. It has never broke once and Apple customer service is second to none.Read full review...

Phone wasn't unlocked like the seller stated in his listing and i couldn't use my BT mobile sim which was frustrating but battery lasted about 24 hours as i tried to work this mobile out as my other mobile is a HTC One M8 and i am new to the iOS of the iPhone5 but this phone arrived with no charger but was fully charged on arrival which gave me enough time to check out its features like the camera which seems pretty good and i like the idea of iCloud and the security it gives and all in all i think the iPhone5 gives a pretty solid performance but wether i am going to stick to Android i really can't say at the moment but what i really wanted the iPhone5 for was to upgrade my mobile phonecamera/experience and the iPhone5 seems better for this as i am on YouTube quite a lot but hey i can't complain really to much as the phone arrived in good working order and as soon as i get the charger/iPod's of eBay for a small sum then the phone will be perfect apart from it being locked to O2 and i really need it on the BT mobile network to be able to use my BT SIM cardRead full review...

I Bought an iphone after wanting one for a while, like 2 years plus, finally when i bought it the hype has died, this model is nice and easy to use thats about it, battery life is terribleall around its just a brand label with some loyalty, their are better phones and im not being bias because ive used samsung LG, HTC, Google nexus, motorola so both american, japanese, chinese brands and just about every brand going and i can say overall the iphone is not a better phone than the others not for specification, storage and key features than its rivals Samsung S series and the other top phones on the market, maybe for its design and look it is but If you know your tech you would probably agree (unless your a diehard Apple follower/fan)Also Android being more flexible and editible than IOS operating system is better too not to mention speed and accessibility since most phones are android. saying all this Overall iphone is ok nice but nothing special its likely to lose market in the future considering far eastern market is boomingRead full review...

This phone was bought for a secondary line i have in job. I use to have it before as a primary phone but upgrade to iphone 6 and sold the old one.A bit slow for my primary need (its getting old now), but as a second device with use of the basics it is perfect. Most important is the synchronization with other Apple devices, hence i have all the information from both iphones and ipad always with me no matter in witch device was recorded. The battery of it is good if you're using it only as phone, but drain too quick if you're using the 3/4G internet on it combined with applications. The price of that, as all iphones are over estimated. It is an old model but the price keeping too high. With that money you can buy a new quality android phone (eg. a samsung one). But still if you learn to work with iDevices, then you have to put your hand in the pocket and pay.Read full review...

I had an iPhone several years ago and did not appreciate it at the time since it was my first real smart phone. I sold it and bought a Samsung tablet and phone which I kept for a while, upgrading until Samsung Galaxy 3. I was never comfortable with this as there was so much Google input to the system. I recently saw this iPhone 5 at a very reasonable price and decided to try Apple again. I was surprised at the simplicity of operation compared with the Samsung android and after several weeks use it just gets better. I know everything is Apple orientated but I can live with that after the Samsung/Google experience and will be staying with this now.In fact I have just sold the Tablet and bought an iPad mini to replace it.I have found that this phone is so easy to use (looks good too).

I bought this phone s an upgrade to my iPhone 4S, but also for the increased storage space of this model.I haven't been disappointed. It's fast, runs smoothly and the extra row of apps is handy, even though it's been the butt of many jokes in the past! It's much lighter than the iPhone 4/4S. The only negative thing about the iPhones is their battery life, they need charging every day, but this depends on how much you use the phone- and there is a lot you can do on phones nowadays! For me this Phone is the best so far, but I have been using iPhones for about 4 years now, and other well known brands just don't have the same appeal for me.

I already had a iphone 4 and apart from the home button sticking, which I cured myself, have always wanted a later model, but was not prepared to splash out on latest model, so I got a white 5th generation. I love it, am used to the straightforward menu and the way its works with my ipad. But I do not like the way apple takes control. different size sim cards, no ability to take a micro card, like other mobiles, find the photo app difficult and stupid with their share moments and the way photo's duplicate, most annoying. Overall though they are overpriced, they are good dependable phones, I'm glad to have got mine.

The iPhone 5 is great in most aspects. The only flaw these days is its limited capability of using the LTE network, as it can't see certain LTE frequencies. This was improved in the iPhone 5s and further. The battery life is limited almost on every smartphone because of its big displays, fast processors and many other features. This is the price for having many devices comprised in a single smartphone. So someone who is using the smartphone quite often for calling, browsing the internet or answering e-mails, watching movies, etc. should expect the battery to be emptied in one day.

Coming from the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 5 runs iOS 6 like a dream. Yes, the experience on the iPhone 3GS is good, but it has nothing on the iPhone 5 in terms of overall performance.I can zip through my home screens. (I recently move to a single home screen.) Apps open in a flash. Games look absolutely beautiful on the larger 4-inch display and run extremely smooth. There were definitely times where iOS 6 would stutter a bit with the iPhone 3GS. There is no such stuttering on the iPhone 5. This is an extremely fast phone and a big thanks goes to its new A6 chip from Apple.

This is my first Apple smartphone and I am very pleased with it. I am not on the web much, I just use it for texts, calls and gaming. It's compact, lightweight, and easy to fit in your handbag. Even though I haven't had it long, I already own an iPad so I find it easy to use and navigate. Also, it adheres to me, as I am partially deaf there is a flashing light that notifies me when I receive a message. The delivery was quick and efficient, notifying me on every step of the process with no concerns or complaints.I strongly recommend this product and this website

I bought this phone for my husband, he likes all the features especially sira app which answers nearly any question you ask....even I think that's a fantastic app to have and I don't really like I Phones...Dislikes are that the battery just lasts 09hrs with just normal moderate use without even listening to music or downloading. In our house we have I phone lovers and Blackberry z10 lovers. I personally think that they are both good for different reasons.I would choose the Blackberry z10, and my husband would choose the I phone 5 UNTIL the 5s comes out....

It's a well crafted and beautifully designed device. It handles wear much better than the Black & Slate version (which I had before, by the way), and is also easier to find a fitting case colour to go with, if you use one. The 16GB version is adequate if you don't have a large local library of music and photos, and if you play few games. And whenever it's time for you to upgrade, it has excellent resale value. All in all, another great device from Apple. I'm very satisfied with it.

Impressed with my Iphone 5, definitely a step up from my 4. Battery life is awful, although I am on my phone a lot so I probably shouldn't be surprised. Although I would like the battery to be able to last me at least most of the day. It's not great that it dies sometimes during the day when I need it the most, despite it being fully charged in the morning. Noticeably faster than the Iphone 4 and looks a lot better due to the shape, colour and its thickness.

The iPhone that I had from the states wasn't allowing me to switch over to a UK line. I needed something that I was already familiar with and more space for what I was planning to do. The phone is exactly what it was advertise to do. There have been small glitches within the phone from time to time but it's the norm with an Apple phone. Overall I will definitely be purchasing another phone in the future from here. Very satisfied.

I live in the Philippines part of the year and the iPhone 5 is a good communication tool. If you just want a phone to make calls, check emails and use on social media then it will do you just fine. Most will need the battery replaced by now but good quality ones are available from eBay and Amazon. The compact design of the phone means it's comfortable to have in your pocket.Still a good phone 6 years after its release.
