My cats gobble this up! They love it. It’s so nice to not have awful smelly cat food. As it’s pure chicken it just looks like normal shredded chicken in a tin.It has a tiny bit of juice in. It’s shredded fine so works for my cats who don’t have all their teeth. It’s never wasted.They are small portions though and I think expensive for what you get. Therefore my cats get these as treats as I could not afford to feed them multiple tins a day between two of them.No smell. Very healthy with no added grains and rubbish. To be honest I’ve wondered if it tastes as good as it looks. So far I’ve held back. Definitely a favorite with my cats. They run when they hear the ring pull sound!

This wet food is, as far as I can tell, great and my cat loves it! However - VERY IMPORTANT - I was not aware of it, but this is only 'complementary' food and does not meet all nutritional needs of your cat. It MUST be used alongside a complete food. In all fairness it does say 'complementary' both on the product and on amazon, however I don't think it's ever made clear what this actually means, I only discovered this by accident. My cat also has complete dry food but eats very little of it so I'm very glad I spotted this before she became nutrient deficient.

My cat will eat any protein, texture and brand so I thought I'd buy a box of this to feed her as a treat with the rest of her complete foods she eats usually.She eats it all and the tuna in particular really looks like the one meant for humans. It smells like normal food and it's all very natural.I would prefer more combinations of flavours, especially meaty ones. I will probably buy again as a treat.The only downside is probably that they're expensive tins and they're pretty small. Ok as a treat because feeding this everyday would be quite pricey I think.

As the last review stated, we also bought this to try and prevent our cats' frequent diarrhea and loose movements. Pumpkin was also recommended to me as a good preventative food source.Given that Applaws contains only meat, a small amount of rice and pumpkin (no additives), we were hoping that A) our cats would like the taste - they did! and B) it would stop their digestive problems - it did!We are so impressed with this food brand, we now buy only this and nothing else. Would definitely recommend if your cats are prone to tummy problems.

I’ve been buying Applaws for a while after doing lots of research into the ingredients in cat food. Since feeding this to my 3 cats, their coats are a lot better and they use the litter tray a lot, lot less. When they do use the tray, it’s not as smelly too! They absolutely love the food. Only downside is the lack of variety of multipack flavours online. I often buy the singles from pets at home as there’s loads of flavours and they often have a deal on.

I purchased this as my cat has always had problems with her intestinal system. All proprietary cat foods seem to cause her to suffer from very runny and bloody stools. By the way, she will not eat any of the more expensive special dietary foods. Having researched blogs I finally decided try a cat food with pumpkin which I am told helps with the production of formed stools. This product seems to help and I am more than happy to give it to my cat.

2 very fussy scottish folds love it! It expensive stuff as every can is tiny! I give my fur babies one can between them for brekki and a can and a half in the evening. i chose chicken and pumpkin as my boy has a very sensitive stomach and his stools seem to of taken some type of poop form now so only time will tell if they will be totally solid. But this has helped his liquid poop issue loads!

I have a very very particular cat when it comes to food. She was hand reared and would only eat tinned tuna when she came to us at two years old. I was therefore delighted to find a range of food that she not only ate but really enjoyed with nutrition that she wouldn’t get in tinned tuna. The only downside is that it is expensive although Amazon is comparatively reasonably priced.

The cats looooove it and it looks so natural that I almost gave it to my husband by mistake! It is made up up pieces of fish which look quite palatable and they certainly appeal to my cats. The most natural product for cats I have found so far and believe me I have looked! No nasty additives or suspicious looking "lumps". An excellently product.

My Smirky loves this stuff, he will wolf it down straight away and it's hard to get a food like this from anywhere except a dedicated pet store. The pumpkin is a real bonus, because grating fresh squashes into his dinner is annoying and helps keep him having a good range of vegetables.Oh and Smirky is a blue tongue skink

I have 9 cats and three are very fussy eaters, two being thyroid tablet dependant so their eating can be picky at best, but they ate the lot when I put this down .. and my Max who is fussy, he tucked in as well. Brilliant to see clean plates from my fussy eaters! Will be keeping this in stock! xx

With an unusually high protein content, compared to common place cat foods, these are great for cats that need a higher quality of food in their tummies. It is much healthier for them, they love the 'meatiness' and how 'wet' it is... and their coats are thick, glossy and very soft for it too..

Stopped feeding my cat the standard brands once I learned more about a cat's genetic diet and the rubbish meat content that goes into supermarket options. It's equivalent of giving a mcdonalds for every meal. Quality is amazing in this, good portion sizes and never had a happier cat.

This food was recommended to us by our vet who said giving Whiskas to our cat twice daily was like living on Chinese meals. He has a delicate digestion and seems to like Applaws which was a relief as seemed rather bland to me. The tins are very hard to open and wash for recycling.

I wish there were a lot more fish flavours , my baby Karma , is about the only cat I know that doesn’t like chicken ! But she loves the fish flavours and the neighbours cats are lucky enough to have a gourmet treat when they get the ones she won’t touch .. they love them all ??.
