It looked nice, though I purchased it as a two tier cheese board for which it is a little wobbly, but does the job if you put the cheese on the lower board.I think it's good value for money and looks the same as more expensive models!

Once assembled and tightened the cake stand was not wobbly at all. After washing it, I rubbed the plates with olive oil as the manufacturer recommends, and the slate looks just as great as the more expensive ones. Recommended!

thought id give this a go as ive never had a slate cake stand before but its looks excellent and its very easy to assemble and sturdy which is the main thing

Nice and sturdy when built. Looks lovely in my pantry. A little rub with olive oil made it look good and prevents surface marks
