I was looking to purchase this jacket for a while, but I made sure to do my research beforehand. There are quite a few styles of this particular jacket. So, this is the original design and Amazon sells it at the best price possible. Other sites sell it for £110-130.This jacket is 100% authentic. It came packaged in a Alpha Industries plastic bag, along with the tags and red "Remove Before Flight" key chain.As recommended by Alpha Industries, you should "size up" (purchase one size larger than you normally would). For example, I am usually a small in other jackets, but I purchased a medium. The jacket fit perfectly and I am happy with it, and I am sure it'll last for years to come.In terms of fit,

just sending my way to large someone says size up coat back ,it was MASSIVE ,lol ? i do believe the problem of these coats being a size small was back in the 80s 90s and recently ,we all got a size up ,but the making them to fit now ,i do believe that you are best getting your regular size ,just sent off for a medium and i at times are a large so there you go , great quality well worth 100 quid , you pay 50 + for a replica ,the never look as good as the real deal though , i paid 50 for a brand new one of these in 92 ,postal order ,old skool , got one second hand for a fiver in 83 , those were the days ,,lol ,, just got my medium coat today ,,perfect fit :)

Excellent.You pay the extra, and I know it's obviously far more expensive than cheaper alternatives.But trust me, the alternative may be good, but the original is excellent.I own a few Alpha Industries Bomber Jackets, and this is the only 'Regular' fit one I have.It's the go to jacket for multiple layers underneath as it is bulky.If you want a more fitted version with the same padding, go for the 'VF 59' Version.If you want a thinner, no padding version, go for the 'TT' Version.

Returned XXL for an XL as XXL to big on arms and the jacket in general is quite baggy.Received th XL which fits alot better.If anything,the XL is a tad short on the waste but fits perfect everywhere else. The jacket is is quality,very well made and i'd recommend it to anyone. I am 5'6' so if you are 6ft and only need an XL,then it is going to be to short for you though i am pretty stocky so if you are slim you may get the added bit of length in the jacket. Hope this helps.

Great jacket (enough said). Now let's try and sort this sizing nonsense. I am 6ft 2ins, 50 chest 44 waist. Don't try and compare this jacket for size with jackets you already have. I have got jackets sizing from xl to 5xl. Think about your average actual size. I wear a 2xl T Shirt. So I ordered 2xl fitted lovely. Previously I ordered 4xl going by size guide. Jacket went round me twice. Go with what you know and you should be ok. If not, free returns anyway!

This is the real deal Alpha Industries jacket. I've already got a hooded winter weight Alpha jacket and this one fits perfectly. Zips are quality brass. I'll be buying more Alpha Industries products - they are top quality and well worth the money.

Arrived quicker than expected, Great fit, Excellent quality. As a driving instructor I spend most of my day in my car. My jacket is very light and comfortable and not at all restrictive. And keeps me nice and warm when I am out if my car

Swift delivery of product. A well made jacket, using good quality materials. Warmer than you think, so can be worn with just a t-shirt- the sizing is quite fitted, so if you want a baggy look, go for a size above your actual size.

Big fan of these jackets, have a few of them. Fits great. Depending on how loose or tight you like your jackets, I am 5'7, 210, muscular build and went for size small. Still able to wear a hoody and t-shirt comfortably.

Quality bomber jacket. Almost impossible to find on the high street. Should last years, I'm 53 and this is my forth one. Expensive yes, but it is the original and not one of those two bob copies.

Company is second to none, been wearing these jackets for over 40 years ( bought from various outlets ) so the Alpha quality never ceases, true to size THATS ALL FOLKS

Brilliant MA-1 flight jacket made too last many years top quality made lovely feel smooth and soft fashion jacket well worth the price

Got this for just over£60, which was a steal and the quality is great, as good if if not better than the American made ma1's!
