Now I have every excuse to look at the clock and be 100% sure it's the exact time correct to the second.The product does exactly as it says on the box. And with the temperature indicator, I can easily see why I'm feeling cold (or hot) and probably need my heater on (or off).The clock was very simple to set up. In fact it just involved inserting 3 AA batteries and just wait a few minutes for the clock to set itself.The back lite function is excellent allowing for ease of viewing at night without having to switch on the room lights.The silence of this clock is golden unlike my previous digital clock when I could hear as the the seconds hand moved around clock..

Ordered this item on the strength of other reviews and received it two days later in very adequate packaging. The clock is nice and large, in a grey colour. Setting the clock up took 6 minutes , from opening the battery compartment to the clock locking on to the radio signal. The display is very clear, and at night the clock exudes a soft green glow, making the display stand out. I do not use the alarm function, so I have placed the clock about 12 feet from the bed, the display is perfectly clear, night or day. I was so pleased with this item, I ordered one for someone else the same day, and they also highly rate it. All in all, an excellent clock, for day or night.

Needed a silent clock which glows in the dark and this does the job perfectly. I was skeptical at first reading the reviews of this product but the backlight was great, I struggled seeing the date while the backlight was on but perhaps this was due to the room not being dark enough or the angle I was standing at. The time however was clear as day and it is pretty much what you would want to see before going bed or while watching movies in a 'cinema experience'. 5/5

I have a clock already like this one but it didn't have a light which was a bit of a bind if I woke up during the night. When I saw thatthe Manufacturers had made a clock with a light I had to have one. The backlight comes on just as it starts to get dusk and its glows green.Its a bit bigger in size than the other clock I had. It takes 3 double AA batteries which are NOT supplied with the clock. The old clock has gone on the Kitchen Wall. Will be handy in there.

Not a bad clock, the only minor criticism is in the layout of the bottom section of the display.As it is, there is virtually no gap between the date, month and day indications. for example, unless you look and realise, you could interpret the display as "412TH" instead of 4 12 TH(ursday). Only really an issue Oct-Dec. If a fraction more of a gap could have been left during manufacture of the display, I would have been exceedingly happy with this clock.

After having a new bedroom fitted my wife asked me to get a new wall clock she could see easily at night. After getting a luminous silent clock which was rubbish as we couldn't see it in the dark I then found this clock. I fitted it above the tv on the wall and is size makes it easy to see. When the room goes dark it comes on. It's not too bright as to keep us awake but great to see the time and room temp. I would highly recommend this clock.

This was a replacement for our previous clock which accidentally fell off the wall. The very fact that we have bought the identical clock again is testimony to our satisfaction. With about a dozen clocks around the house, this is the one we rely on for complete accuracy. We quickly realilsed we could not do without it. Also useful for day, date, room temperature(even moon phase if you are interested. So easy to set up and good looking too.

Opened this up, put some batteries in and within 5 minutes, the time and date was set with no user intervention. When there is low light, the backlight turns on automatically and remains on until it becomes light again. Not sure how this will effect the battery life though. The light is not at all intrusive when sleeping and is still very much readable from a distance. I love the temperature function as well.Great Clock!

I bought this clock for my Mum & Dad as they have a job seeing figures, so I ordered this large display. It can be seen very clearly from any part of the room and reads the temperature and gives the date and day, which is very helpful as they forget the date and day at lot of the time. The bonus is they it glows in the dark, so it's easy to read at night with the lights off. Would recommend.

The product is simply fantastic.I was looking for a wall clock which is silent,with illumination at night and can be seen from across my bed. This product just fits perfectly to my need, with added effect of energy saving as its light goes off automatically when its daytime or flourescent light is switched on. Design and all features just fantastic. I have gone ahead to buy a second one.

Bought this for my 6 year old to try to delay his getting out of bed and it worked! It is a big clock with an easy to read face and seems sturdy and well made. I especially like the fact that it is illuminated in the dark.The only con is that it could not find the signal to automatically set the time, but we do live in the country, so that could explain it.Would recommend.

Very easy to set up and no worries about accuracy or resetting the time when the clocks go forward/backward. Only problem is that it is a bit big for the bed side table and would look better fixed to the wall, although that could be a issue if you use it as an alarm clock. The up side of it's size is that there are no problems reading the time. On balance, I like it.

Bought this for my mother, once in place and updated with radio control timing needs nothing further doing apart from replacing batteries from time to time.This was bought to replace one that mother had had for few years and loves the smart-lite Excellent Clock technology as well as the fact it updates itself for summer and winter time.All round excellent Clock.

Admittedly I've only had this a few days, but it replaced an identical clock which I'd had several years and had given up - new batteries didn't work, however I can't remember when I last replaced them. So I'm expecting this clock to be as good - it looks stylish, keeps time well, shows the temperature which is helpful, and the date. Would definitely recommend.

I've written quite a few reviews for stuff I've bought on Amazon, but this is the first item which exceeds my expectations. Attractive, silent, easy to view - with huge numbers - and the back light is just right for a bedroom (but note that I've nor had it long, so can't yet comment on battery life etc). Just put the batteries in and hang it on the wall.
