Bought this clock for my mum as the face looks very clear. Did not disappoint. Mum cannot see too well so some clocks are not too clear. She is very happy with this clock. The only downside was this clock was obviously sold and returned as the instructions were not included and the empty battery pack was enclosed but no batteries, so had to pop to mums local shops to purchase. As my mum needed the clock I could not be bothered to return for replacement. Cannot understand some peoples actions!

Purchased to replace my mains alarm clock which was getting a bit noisy. This clock is battery operated, silent and comes with a built in night light. The night light produces a low level orange light which is not intrusive. The night light can be activated via an on / off switch at the rear of the clock, light sensor or Crome snooze button on top of the clock. To save battery life I personally turn the night light on and off manually. I am very pleased with the clock which suits my needs.

A great Analog Alarm Clock with a clear large font clock face, good visibility in daylight. Nice auto light sensor feature illuminates clock in the dark for night viewing. Can turn this feature off to save battery. Agreeable alarm chime which doesn’t give you a headache, but toned for easy waking. Batteries included. Instructions are poor and unreadable, but you don’t really need them due to simple operability design. This same clock is more expensive in other shops compared to Argos.

This was an alarm clock bought for someone with little concept of time so the display needed to be clear and obvious which it is. There’s no. Of that annoying glowing digits found with digital clocks to keep you awake either. Clock seams to have worked because there have been no incidences of getting up at stupid o’clock to take the dog for a walk or get up and go to work. Positives all round.

I have searched on a lot of websites and couldn't find what I thought would be what I wanted for my bedside,this Seiko clock is absolutely fabulous, easy to set up and has everything you need with all the options that are in the Argos catalogue working as read, it is well worth the price and I will buy another one for my wife's side of the bed and would recommend this to anyone.

Bought this round faced alarm clock for my husband as he did not like his previous square faced alarm clock. This clock has the facility to have the night light on or if the light disturbs you it can be turned off, but you can still use the press on button light to check the time during the night. The numbers on the face are nice and large, altogether an excellent purchase.

I bought this clock because my clock radio led lights were keeping me awake at night. This neat little clock has easy to use controls, looks OK and has the option to switch on or off a backlight. When the backlight is off you can see the time by pressing a button to light the clock up. The bedroom is much darker at night now so I'm really glad I bought this clock.

I needed an alarm clock that was smart, quiet in normal use, easy to set and see, with a light feature for when it is dark and a loud alarm (I am partially deaf). This Seiko alarm fits the bill perfectly - so well, in fact, that I bought a second for my wife. It may cost a little more than some of its competitors, but is worth every penny.

The guy who served me after click and collect was lovely and friendly. This clock is silent with a powerful alarm....I usually prefer a more gentle waking with increasing volume alarm, but this one certainly wakes me up and less likely to press snooze! A bit chunky but easy to see what time it is even without my specs. Recommended.

I bought this clock for my aunt who has poor eyesight. Because the numbers are black and large on a white background, she has no trouble seeing what time it is. Also it has a background light, so in the night she is able to see what time it is. Very good value for money and would recommend this clock to anyone young or old.

Night or day, sums it up, as I can see the clock at any time. It's got a clear white face to be seen in natural light and, as if by magic, it lights up in the dark for the time to be seen clearly without having to peer at it to be seen. A great alarm, it doesn't make too much of a din that might wake up the whole street.

I wear glasses to read which I don't wear in bed and I can't see the time on most alarm clocks. This clock has a big face which is backlit all night which is exactly what I was after as I can now see the time easily. The second hand is extremely quiet so it does not disturb sleep during the night. Good value for money.

Clear face and hands. Absolutely no audible ticking or clunking. Alarm is a beeper - I prefer a ringer. It's a bit more expensive than I think it needs to be, but it's well-made and dependable. If you can afford it, I definitely recommend it over cheaper plastic ones which tend to tick and have fiddly controls.

I love this clock and it's features. For anyone who has trouble seeing the clock hands and numbers in the dark this is perfect, just press the knob on the top it lights up and gives a clear view of the time. I tried so many other clocks that you were supposed to see in the dark before I found this one.

This product is completely silent. Actim Clock on the other hand though has second hand silent sweep movement supposed to be silent but it is very noisy, whereas this Seiko is the only product completely silent. This is why I chose it even though I had to pay for the high price its worth it.
