I bought this because I’ve not had an alarm clock in years. I naturally wake up at the correct time every day. However what I had been doing is waking during the night wondering what time it is and always looking at my phone or iPad for the time, sometimes then playing around on the internet at stupid hours in early morning. I decided to try this in the hope of not picking up my phone and iPad. It’s worked a treat. The time is now displayed on my ceiling but not bright enough to keep you awake.

The clock projects the time on the ceiling to be seen in the dark. It stands on a drawer and projects clearly from about 2m range. It shows the room temperature and obviously the time. I've not used any of its alarms yet. Can't comment on the build quality yet, though a wider base would add stability. It comes with a mains adaptor, which allows continuous work of a projector. It took time to pick up the radio signal and the signal was weak.Display can only be lighted by pushing a button.

This is a fab little alarm clock! Nice and small, so doesn't take up too much room on the bedside draws. A very clear projection of the time, which is great in the middle of the night, with blurry eyes. Have a battery back up is ace, no fear of sleeping in if there is a electric power cut and makes it easier to take it with you on holiday. The display is super clear and setting it up is simple. Love the 2 alarm settings saves a lot of messing around to change the time at weekends! No regrets!

Purchased this clock to replace an old Oregon Scientific projection clock that I had for over 15 years. Still works and projects but the screen went blank. Smaller than my old clock, fewer features but does the job ok. Has a 180 degrees rotation of the projection but no focus or angle adjustment, which limits you somewhat where and how you can place it. Still, found it a place and does the job. Dual alarm is real handy and can be set for week days only. Temperature, date and day of the week

Very happy with this purchase, the time projection is very clear to read (on the ceiling in my case), quite bright but as it's red not too intrusive. I like the fact that it's radio controlled for accurate time and from the UK signal and not Germany, (which can be problematic to lock to). It's also nice to check the temperature. The projection will only work continuously if it is plugged into mains with the included power supply, otherwise it stays on for a few seconds with battery only

Bought this for one reason and that is for my 8yo daughter to know what time it is... Love the fact it even tells you the room temperature, which some parents will like. It projects on the wall very well, you can reserve the projection by pressing the button on the back quite easily... Only issue I have with it, is that I need to set the time manually, it doesn't automatically find the time, even with a strong signal. Apart from that, my daughter now gets up at the right time, not 0530!

This was a replacement for a projector clock I had for many years. This is better than my old one, the time is very crisp and clear projected on the ceiling, but doesn't unduly light the bedroom itself. Be aware the actual clock display is not illuminated unless you press the button on the top, but I find that no problem as the display on the ceiling us always alight.I find the ordering and collection system at Argos very simple and convenient, all in all I am pleased with purchase.

I've always had a much smaller clock and thought it was time to get it enlarged so did some research and this one came up. Although you can fit it in one hand, don't be fooled that it won't meet your needs as when it's shining bright red at the top, the image on the wall or ceiling is huge. It takes two small batteries which is useful if the electricty goes as it saves the settings, very easy to insert without being forceful.Would recommend if you like a big clock.

I had one of these for years, and finally the cable went. So I searched to find out if Oregon Scientific still made them. They did. It is an excellent little clock. It got a strong radio signal almost straight away and it set itself up. The display on the ceiling is bright and clear. To switch the display on or off, or to turn the display the right way up, you have to take the back off. The alarm is the usual buzz. I recommend it.

I have had one of these clocks for many years and have always been happy with it, unfortunately have had to buy a new one. On the old one I could turn off the projected light with the flick of a switch, unfortunately with this one you have to take off the battery cover or leave the cover off. I think this is a very bad design fault. Should have left things as they were. Apart from that the clock works well and I would have given it five stars.

I bought this for the dual alarms and the temperature display and it all works very well.I was a little concerned about the buttons all being on the top and hitting the wrong ones when in a semi conscious state but the snooze button is big and easy to hit while the other buttons are slightly recessed so I've not had any problems. The only problem is that it is not very stable and falls over easily, other that that it's excellent.

Great clear projection on to the ceiling and you can flip the display to suit your needs. I like the twin alarm feature which means you can have one for week days and one for the weekend. Clock display also shows room temperature of the room it is in. Very surprised to find an adaptor for the power supply in the box as the description said you had to buy that separately so a nice bonus as the projection only works when plugged in.

We bought this because we wanted a lightweight travel alarm that would project the time onto the ceiling. It ticks the boxes - BUT - if you want the projected time to be on all the time....you have to buy the power supply. Running on batteries you can only press a button and have a short projection time.Rather defeated the object because we didn’t want to lug power supplies and electrical adapters around....

I bought this as a birthday present for my son and he really does like it. The time projected on the ceiling is a fun feature and he likes to move it about to shine on different surfaces.I like that it sets the time and date itself, it initially took a while to receive a signal but we left it by the window for 5 min and then it was fine. It's also nice that you can use the plug to power it or have batteries.

This clock is exactly what I was looking for, can flip the projector display so can appear on any surface (wall, ceiling etc.) and display the time correctly. Duel alarm function is very good, can be set for weekdays or weekends. Only slight issue is that it still hasn’t not picked up the radio frequency for setting time, so I have set it manually. This could be because of where I am more than anything else.
