I have been using an Oregon Scientific BAR629HGU weather station for many years, which uses this sensor for measuring outside temperature and humidity. Being out in the weather and not fully waterproof, the sensors do not last for ever. Now that I have the replacement successfully installed, the weather station is again complete and fully functional. However, when and if the sensor fails again, there may be more cost-effective solutions which may involve complete replacement with more modern equipment. For the time being, I am happy.

Works as expected, direct replacement for an old one that got water damaged.Was quite expensive, though, could nearly have bought a new weather station for the money, but wanted to be environmentally friendly.

The second sensor was purchased to supplement my first external one for internal greenhouse monitoring and works very well once given 24 hours to settle down.
