The product is more expensive than a number of similar products, but hopefully overtime it will prove its worth and value. Recommended on Heritage House website. Appears accurate and sensitive to changes in humidity. Of course, knowing your room temperature, humidity and dew points is only useful if you take action such as using extractor fans and opening windows to reduce condensation and humidity. Armed with this device and some research I now understand more about the importance of ventilation, and how to manage it.

I am quite overwhelmed to the can help Me with big problem, MyAnd ged the hang of the climate, I want to other measures, and forls it just a press for: C, F,%, TD, TW, there is alarm audio and vision,But not all kinds of types at once. Besides, there is hygrometer viewing simultaneously with the product. Alarm. Alarm clocklt is very sensitive instrument just joming featuresCan it in some seconds show a little wrongAnd so it shows the first real results.One can also turn off alarm as one will over onder.

My brother-inlaw recomended this exact item for a similar problem of mould build up. I've been struggling with high hymidity with Victorian Solid walls causing mould. It is now very obvious when the hymidity is climbing to saturation levels and with combined with my other research i basically keep the temperature at 19-20degC and hymidity below 60% through opening windows for a while. Mould problems are staying away so far.

I really like this device. It can display both the temperature and the relative humidity at the same time. We don't use any of the more sophisticated modes in my family. This one has been working for a couple of years, we still like it. The memory for minimum and maximum temperatures is useful for checking how cold the kids' bedroom gets at night.

Can't comment on the accuracy, as I have nothing to compare it too. Given that it is German made and made by a German family whom specializein atmospheric instruments, I feel fairly confident of it's accuracy! What I can comment on, is the build quality. It feels well made and isn't much more expensive than some of the cheaper models.

Hygrometer & temperature unit works as expected. Only had it about a week so can,t comment about reliability but seems to work quite well, responding to the recent drop in temperature and showing the variations in humidity when we open the windows. Well made and the display is clear and quite large.

Not German made as advertised, The box clearly states Made for TFA Germany in PRC. Nice enough unit with a big and clear display. Seems accurate and responsive, I will update the review in a few weeks. Happy with it but have deducted one star as I was expecting German manufacture.

Very useful item - to confirm damp levels it is very handy. Tbh I really should actually read and understand the brochure a bit more but I really am too lazy. All I needed to know was the level of water in the walls and if it’s drying out and that’s just what it does.

This product was recommended to me by damp expert Peter Ward. It measures the dew point and it certainly has been a great device in understanding the humidity levels inside my home. Easy to use, quick delivery and very efficient.

Seems to work as advertised. However I have another similar meter [from another company] and the readings are different by about 5% at times. Both look to be working correctly so I don't know which meter to believe!

Use in garage and good to see max and min readings along with dew point to check dehumidifier is doing its job. Does state that it can be recalibrated but cannot see how in the instructions so loses one star.

Very easy to use to track the dampness in a room or area. This is a very good tool to observe moisture.Battery life wasn’t as long as I’d have thought, but I would happily recommend this to anyone.

this is proving to be an excellent instrument giving what appears to be reasonably accurate rteadings for this type of unit.Good value when compared to the cheaper copies which are not accurate.

Easy to use and works perfectly.Just what I required - humidity and temperature on main display and easy to see from 5 meters away. Many thanks to Amazon for very fast next day delivery.

Large display, easy to operate, use it round the home to monitor humidity levels. It also shows the dew point which is crucial in controlling damp caused by condensation.
