If this is under your pillow, it will wake you up. Then it's just up to you to get up, which no product can guarantee...I've tried sunrise alarm clocks (didn't work but makes a nice, slowly-dimming night light) and multiple watch / alarm clocks, phone apps that detect when you're in lighter phase of sleep and can doze through the lot. But this is a beast.NB: If you sometimes roam onto the other side of the bed, you'll need one for each pillow. Still, this is the best alarm clock I've found for heavy sleepers.

I need my sleep... and I live on a busy main road, which makes nodding off at 9pm, very challenging. I eventually succumbed to wearing earplugs. Perfect - except my standard alarm clock no longer woke me...This is where this little Sonic Alert beauty comes in. I've used this every day for 18-months now and it wakes me everytime.Marvellous creation - and a great combination with earplugs.

I'm profoundly deaf and was fed up relying on my husband to wake me, or of bringing my phone to bed so my vibrating alarm could wake me. This alarm would wake a bear from hibernation its that powerful! Like the wee light on it and the fact that you can clip it to your pillow. It's battery operated, so handy for bring with you on travels too.

Alarm is fairly Loud but if you use the vibrator mode make sure the clock is attached to something as it dances about all over the place It is fun to watch and it sure wakes you up. I am a little hard of hearing so it is just what I need. Nice case for traveling as well.

Really loud alarm clock, which sounds like a pneumatic drill. It never fails to wake me and I would have awarded five stars, except that the buttons to change the time and alarm settings are really tiny and difficult to use, particularly if you have 'fat fingers'.

Wakes me up so well when it goes off. There were a few nights when it doesn’t go off for no reason. I’ve checked the setting and the alarm was switched on and the time of the alarm was correct. I’ve changed the batteries and it didn’t make any difference.

Worked well for three days and then the vibration mode stopped.The sound alarm worksTook it on our long holiday and on our return find that the return of item date has passed.The U.K. Supplier was very understanding and replaced the item promptly

Very happy,with the purchase of alarm clock, particularily as I am extremely deaf and normal alarm clocks are just not loud enough. This vibrating clock ,placed under my pillow has proved to be completely reliable and I can relax and sleep easily.

Very good quality. My son uses it in collage for some years, unfortunately my grandson (his sister's little boy) dunked it in the water, so we needed a new one. Very reliable and lasting clock if you don't send it swimming.Highly recommend

Fantastic, certainly wakes me up, not so much the sound but the sound and vibration, just push it under my pillow, which incidentaly I cannot feel.
