Attractive, nicely-sized clock on which can see the time throughout night during my wakeful periods!! Silent, continuous second hand is quite fascinating! To me, light button on the top seems unnecessary as hands are luminous throughout night as already said but maybe just missed the pertinence of that as yet! Alarm sound is perfectly pleasant - have to feel for the button to switch alarm off a bit more than I'd like to early in morning but it's not difficult! Overall, really happy with purchase

OK - so I could use my smart phone as an alarm. But this clock is perfect when you don't want the phone near you! It's stable, doesn't take up much room on the bedside cabinet, looks nice, is easy to set, has a loud but not irritating ring, a gentle light that can be made brighter when you want to know the time in the dark, and is simple to turn off (or doze) using the wide button on the top. I like it.

I suddenly found I needed to replace my bedside clock as the one I had owned for years suddenly stopped working. I looked at the range available at Argos and opted for this clock with its retro look and clear numbers. An added plus I discovered is that it doesn’t tick, so literally one has a silent night. Running on 1 battery that is provided, I really recommend this item. A great buy.

This very smart little alarm clock was exactly what we needed. Easy to set and easy to stop the alarm ring. Also very good to have a battery powered clock after having one that needed to be plugged into the mains. Ideal for anyone that wants just an alarm clock, without a radio or breakfast making facilities, which can also be taken on holiday. The silence is also golden.

I've never actually used it as an alarm clock, so cannot comment on that aspect. But this is a nIce neat round clock:- clear numbers and hands, keeps time well, easy to use, only uses one AA battery, no ticking noise (silent seconds hand). Very pleased - I already had one, bought two more for other rooms in house.

The best thing is, it makes no sound, so there is no annoying 'tick, tick' as you try to sleep.The knobs to control time hands are a little fiddly and so far the alarm setting has not been accurate enough - about five minutes out. However, keeps to time really well.

This clock is a replacement for a digital one which didn't wake me up. I have gone back to a normal clock which I love , it's loud enough, the face is clear and it doesn't tick as it has a sweep second hand. It is easy to set the alarm or change the time.

Bought this to replace digital alarm clock. Alarm is loud enough to wake you up and it looks good too. Only issue is the light doesn't stay on only if you keep holding the snooze button down. Overall a fab little clock that is stylish and loud

It's a clock. Silent, which is essential for me, as I live in the country and I don't like ticking locks disturbing the silence. It's small and neat but big enough to be seen from a distance and the numerals are bold and clear. Well priced.

i bought this clock as a travel alarm because it is robust and compact.It was important to me to have a good luminous face marking which the clock has.Although not cheap it is good and I think worth the money. It looks nice too!

Bought this for my beside when travelling. Light and very portable, with a Snooze button that also operates a small light to illuminate the face in the dark, though the hands and hours are luminous. Excellent value for the price.

use this when I go away for work, its small and loud enough to wake me which is more than I can say for a lot of the other alarm clocks. A simple necessity for those of us who like to turn off our phones at night.

Bought this clock for my over-sleeping teenage son. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be but it does the job! Good clear face, push button on the top and easy to use.Would recommend.

Bought this to replace a broken alarm clock and was very pleasantly surprised; it's quite stylish, sturdy and very reliable - not expensive either so it's a win-win. Would definitely recommend.

This is a good compact little alarm clock. The face is clear to read and the light is a good feature. Only criticism would be that the alarm is loud straight away rather than building up.
