Love this clock! At first the ticking noise was annoyingly noticeable, even on the other side of the room, so I considered sending it back. But after reading everyone's comments about how quiet and 'silent' it was, I experimented by holding it at different angles and even held it upside down with the clock face towards the floor, and rocked the clock gently to and fro. Then it became completely silent as it is now. I have the clock in a music studio so it has to be completely silent as it now thankfully appears to be.

This Seiko wall clock has it all.It's beautiful, well built, precise, and a good value.It is a bit pricey, but in the end it is worth every penny.The only issue I have is that Seiko should provide a plastic plug with the provided mounting screw.Even better, include a quality hook (with nail) for proper mounting.It is a bit on the heavy side, since the attractive wood seem real.Again, one nice looking clock.I love that dial dedicated for the seconds...

One reviewer has said it is noisy. Clearly there was a problem with that particular clock, because mine doesn't make any sound. It has a dome (not flat) glass face which I like, but it can catch the light, so if you plan to put it near a window, that's worth noting.

Love it. As a watch guy, this ticks the boxes for a wall clock for me. Bit pricey, but hey, its Seiko. Love the blue small seconds which sweeps silently. Perfect for my house

I bought this product to replace an unreliable radio controlled clock. I love it, good looking and totally free from problems.
