The game is a prequel set 500 years before the second game. It should take around 20 hours to complete, and around 40 hours if you go for absolutely everything.Inside the package- Game on physical cartridge- DLC code which states "Helpful items, Quests, Rare Blades, Challenge battle mode".So basically you have quite a worthwhile expansion all in one package with some bonus stuff thrown in with the DLC code. According to the instructions you need 900mb spare space to download the DLC, so be sure you have that.

A new prequel story in torna is here! Lasts around 20 hours, and is a great addition to an already great game. Even though it says the game is a good starting point for beginners, i'd recommend the base game first to truly get the most out of the game. A majority of the side quests are required also, so if you're not a fan of fetch quests this isn't the game for you. Otherwise, a fantastic story with great characters, and complicated but satisfying gameplay. Would easily recommend!

Having put 98 hours into xenblade chronicals 2, I was really excited to live through the prequal story and man, it does not disappoint. The company system is great as ever and the story wraps everything referenced in XBC2 nicely. Definitely one of the best games on the switch right now. Would be nice if the voice acting was a little better but it doesn't defer from the brilliance of the game

Acting as a prologue for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Torna the Golden Country is a wonderful adventure through a strange land. Featuring a cast of likeable characters and a great story to boot, Torna has plenty going for it. Those who are put of by complex RPG mechanics and stats, need no worry as Torna is really easy to pick up and play and is perfect for first timers to the franchise.

If you’ve played Xenoblade Chronicles 2, this is an absolute must buy. Adds on to the story and world, but with new ideas and fun combat system. But the best thing is: You don’t need the original to play this! It is it’s own standalone game, so you can play and enjoy it even without the original, so if you are a fan of RPGS you have to pick this up.

It is a much more refined version of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, getting rid of things like the stupid random blades mechanics and improving the combat system. However, the main story feels a bit too short (though this may not be a problem to some people!).

This game is amazing. It plays really well, its short yet has plenty of missions, which help the team, level up a lot, it helps.The story reveals the truth about Jin, battling feels easier, switching between partners feels easier.

Great game, great companion to the main game, though does work as a stand alone prequel. I wish some of the features in this game were present in the main game!

Great entry level to the Xenoblade games if youve never played them before, as well as been a great expansion of the story of Xenoblade 2 if you've played it.

Great prequel to xeno 2.completely new story which ties in well.good RPG for switch.play this first then xeno 2 if you want to be chronological.very good game

Brilliant game, and well worth the price of admission. If you like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 this improve on it in almost all areas. Can be played stand alone.

A fun game and easy to control, my only negative is that the story is difficult to follow but I've always had difficulty with this type of games stories

Great game for the older gamer. Shows what the switch can do. Good graphics and the controls are easy to pick up, enjoyed the game play
