Great bags - the plastic is very thick and robust, and can even be rinsed out for multiple uses (though drying the inside can of course be tricky!)Ive used them with quite hot mash to top a pie, room temperature buttercream on cupcakes, chilled cheesecake mix and (warm) melted chocolate - The plastic holds up well to both cold and hot food, neither having a negative effect on the bags rigidity or maleabilityThe size is good, where its not too large to be unwieldy, not too small to be only suited to lighter tasksThe bags come as a sealed triangle format - essentially a cone - and so work well with both the "snip the corner and drop in" nozzle types as well as a proper connector,or even no nozzle. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is that for 16 bags, the price is a little high and to me feels unjustified. To clarify that, Ive bought a pack of basically the same bags minus the Wilton branding, for half the cost at The Range. Using these Wilton bags with thicker buttercream I still had seams splitting, and in fact no better or worse performance than the Range ones. I wouldnt necessarily expect anything different, but if these were more robust than others, I would feel the price was more warranted - but this is not the case, and actually it seems youre just paying to have the Wilton badge on the sleeves (which you just... use once or twice then throw away?!!)

These are excellent one use piping bags. You use them like any other piping bag – put the nozzle that you are going to use into the your bag and cut the point off the bag and ensure that your nozzle is firmly positioned in the opening.Place your bag on your filling stand and scoop in some of the icing – don’t overfill your bag, it is very tempting to fill the bag but it will make it harder to keep a consistent pressure and consistent decoration. The bags haven’t split or caused any problems for me when I have been icing and decorating which is great (I’ve had disposable bags split/burst before and it can be incredibly annoying. You can use the bags for piping without a nozzle but I wouldn’trecommend it just in case the bag splits or there is an air bubble pop/block.Overall I have been very impressed with these piping bags, and not having to clean them is a bonus (though I still use my nan’s bags for extra special cake decoration.

My wife is the 'GoTo baker' in our family and she has always used disposable icing bags.....I say disposable as that is what they are marketed as but in actuality they can be used multiple times as long as they are washed out properly...I have no idea if they are OKin dishwashers as we dont own one!My wife found these equally as good as her usual icing bags (Sainsburys, though other supermarkets are available!)The bags are 40 cm or 16 inches in old money ( which is a fair bit larger than her usual bags) and are big enough for most icing projects...If you run out just re-top the bag up...Or use two!.I seem to have missed the basics here as my wife is already an expert in the Baking/Icing field. So perhaps I should mention that the bags come basically ready to slide the required nozzle inside and just cut the bag to the correct length...Simples!An excellent product at a reasonable price

I'm a stranger to using piping bags, but my teenage daughter spends a lot of time making cakes, and biscuits and baking things in general. For her, the bags were particularly useful - slip a standard piping nozzle of one kind or another into the bag, place inside the filling of your choice, and you're away!Afterwards there's no faffing around with cleaning the bag in hot soapy water to get rid of the clinging leftover mass - simply remove the nozzle and bin the bag.More expensive than a reusable bag, it is nevertheless much more convenient to use a throwaway bag - and this dispenses with the cook's main bugbear - washing-up afterwards. This pack contains 12 disposable piping bags.

These icing bags are sturdy, thick bags which you just cut the end off and pop your icing nozzle inside. Fill with icing (or melted chocolate etc) and you're away. If you've used icing bags before, this is much of the same. Yes, they're super thick and you won't have a problem with popping/splitting, but i've not had that problem with other bags I've used either. I would imagine a plus with them being so durable is that you could wash them out and use them again.I'll be honest (as these reviews always should be), I've been using Lakeland icing bags which are just as good and you get a lot more for your money: 50 as apposed to the 12 you get here. Either way, does the job just fine.

They're a great size and feel nice and thick and I've had none of then burst on me so far. I know they're disposable but careful washing and drying means they can be re-used if needed. Probably not too many times but at the current price (just over a fiver for 12) doubling up on each bags use makes them a little more cost effective. What I like most about them is the size and the fact that I can see the icing inside. I've been using them with my Russian piping tips with varying degrees of success (although, that could be because I'm new to Russian icing) and i wouldn't be able to do that with normal sized piping bags as the tips are jumbo sized.

These disposable piping bags are made from a medium thickness clear low density poly ethylene so are quite strong, and the seems are pretty good. The bag comes sealed so you decide how big an opening your want. The bags a are big so you could cut a large hole for mashed potato or thick cream, or a fine hole with no nozzle to do run writing or edge a run out. With careful use and washing you might even reuse them. The only downside is that the plastic is quite smooth and could be a little slippy.

in terms of baking accessories. These bags are just perfectly thick so they would not burst or accidentally tear apart, yet they are also perfectly thin in order to keep a good grip of the content (think of e.g. cookie dough with chocolate pieces etc). Thanks to the rather soft/flexible material I also manage to re-fill them once or even twice during a session which is not always that easy with typical cheap PE bags.Already re-purchased :-)

very impressed. good quality disposable piping bags. used these for first time with wilton nozzles to pipe roses, (swirl effect)(not on a nail). definitely use wilton again. had other types before + not strong enough+ burst. these are sturdy. better than washable large piping bags, as icing seeps thru seams. 1st time had Wilton. very pleased indeed. made life much easier. used to find piping a pain, now its a pleasure. many thanks

12 good quality, thick plastic icing bags that can be used with or without a coupler (not supplied), full instructions are provided on the box.I found them easy to use and experienced no splitting along the seams as I have with cheaper alternatives, which can result in having to start your project again. The bags can be hung in a cupboard and have an easy-tear perforation at the top for dispensing as required.

Really good quality disposable piping bags. As others have said, you can reuse them if you wish as they are pretty robust. You don't have to worry about them splitting. Can be used for fondant icing, buttercream, chocolate or as I like to use them, for potatoes, to make Duchess potatoes. Doesn't come with a nozzle but I think they will fit most standard nozzles, I had no problem with mine.Highly recommended.

Wilton 40 cm disposable bags are really very good quality, and can be used for so much more than icing.Really easy to use, and with practice will give very good results. These bags can be used with your existing coupler and nozzles, and for mash and merengue, you can just snip the end off.At £6 for 12, they are great value for money, and if you are really careful with them, you could wash and reuse.

We used these bags recently to do all the fiddly bits of icing on my wife's birthday cake, which had been made by me, my son and my grandson. Very easy to use and control and didn't split. Despite them being classed as disposable they feel as though they could be reused if cleaned properly. My wife has used them since, she's a bit better at cake and bun decorating than I am, and she really liked them.

These disposable bags are a good thickness and you can use them with your own standard sized tips or just snip off the end. Both methods work fine. These are handy when working with candy melts and also icing. They are good enough quality to rinse out and re-use if you wish. They are a little bit expensive but otherwise can't fault them. I would get them again once I've used these up.

Made in the USA these slightly thick plastic piping bags are excellent. Although they say "Just use, then toss!" (I'm sure it may not have a different meaning in the USA) it is possible to simply use, then rinse. I got a few goes from each bag.No problems so far and I'll update the review if any issues arise.
