Although no longer made in Germany (a disappointment) they are still made in the EU, and the quality doesn't appear to have suffered for it (yet). I put my screwdrivers through intense and rigorous use often trying to remove screws from antiques requiring a lot of torque and precision. With the possible exception of my grandfather's old screwdrivers, I have not seen any other brand come close. I have had other screwdrivers of supposed premium quality split under such duress within a year. My Wera's never break. It's all about the metal they use...not all metal is made equal, I find - simple as that. Worth every penny. The laser etching is an excellent touch for a precise grip.

replacing my higher end protos that ive have since my apprencticeship. really shopped around , as ive boughten alot of snap-on/mac. and honestly don't think it worth the price.these are worth the price, and feel great. grab screws nicely , and come in usefully sizes. no robertson though...lets be honest, i use my screw drivers to clean gunk out of galleys, pry up shims , align funky holes, scratch a number onto a cover plate, dig apart old chain link connections. they works for it all, and haven't shown any sign of damage .handle is a bit odd, but i like it.

This Wera screw driver set is the best I've ever used. Incredibly comfortable, nicely weighted, hex sided at the handle hilt so it doesn't roll when placed down, the hex booster under the hilt (on all but the smallest 2 flat blade screwdrivers) is incredibly useful for putting a spanner on to give extra leverage when needed, and the laser tip really does hold screws in place well. This set should last a lifetime.
