I am an Electrical Tech by trade and I decided to purchase this set of Wera Kraftform VDE 1000v screwdrivers to replace my worn out set, as I get through a full set of drivers about every 2 to 3 years and with the previous named brand I had to replace the cross head Posidriv drivers about three times throughout the life of the set.In the electrical trade cross head screws are the most commonest screws in use and hence the Posidriv screwdriver is the most used, the problem with these drivers is that when they become worn they can cam out on the screws and wear the screws square edges and the result is that you cannot tighten these screws to the correct torque.I had previously read about these

Im fairly new to wera, but ive had a load of terrible screwdrivers in the past. I read the great reviews about these screwdrivers and ordered a set, they are fantastic, the lasertip isnt a gimmick it really does cling onto the screwhead much better than normal screwdrives, and with the good shape of handle i can turn the screws in much tighter which is handy round the shed, the fact that these are insulated is another benefit, only one of the flat headed screwdrivers hasnt got a lasertip edge but its still not a bad tool.There is even a phase tester included which works well and has a good blade although no lasertip, it feels much harder than normal phase testers.A rack comes with the screwdrivers,

These screwdrivers really are a cut above my previous set which were made by Draper and broke within days of regular use. The laser-etched tips really do improve the bite on the screwhead and reduce the cam out dramatically, whilst the handles have excellent grip and are comfortable during prolonged use. I mainly bought them because I needed some decent pozi tipped screwdrivers and the price was unbeatable at half the rrp of all the diy sheds and online shops. The holder is adequate if you want to mount them on your shed wall, but if you're a sparky you're unlikely to be impressed and won't have need for it, horses for courses really and certainly not a criticism.

The Wera Kraftform Vde Screwdriver Set 7 Piece is to my mind an excellent investment for the serious sparky.The screwdriver tips are especially well crafted. I am especially impressed with the pozidriv screwdriver heads which do not cam out after a few uses. More importantly, for the busy electrician they are comfortable even after repetitive use. The small terminal screwdriver has a good sturdy feel to it allowing for tight clamping of terminal screws with no damage to the screw head. The small tester screwdriver is not of the same quality and is probably only put in as a filler. If you need a good selection of screwdrivers do not be guided by price alone.

I read several reviews about these screwdrivers before deciding to purchase them. I can honestly say that all the good things said about them is absolutely true. They have a very comfortable grip and an extremely positive purchase on screw heads, both pozi and slot head alike. I have used many different brands, some much more expensive in the past and I can positively say they are by far the best I have used. I use them daily in my role as an electrician. If I have one reservation it is that the large slot head could have been a tad wider, however it has met every challenge I have set it to date. Hope this is helpful in helping you to decide whether or not to purchase.

Bough this set for my father so he can use it on electric circuitry. They are very ergonomic and well balanced set of drivers. Quality is that expected of Wera products, so you can expect a good product.Grips well on screws and help you make short work on your DIY projects.Has a mounting bracket so you can mount them on a wall or any other vertical surface for easy access/storage.The voltage tester is just the right size and works flawlessly.The color code helps find them really fast if you've misplaced them by accident.If you need the above mentioned features, and want some drivers that probably will last you a lifetime and are not that expensive (breaking bank expensive), then get these.Believe me,

Very good quality, nicely made and good value for money.I've bought a few different sets of electricians screwdrivers over the years, and these are amongst the best. Especially at such a price.The handles are good, comfortable to use, dont roll away when you put them down (handy that...) and the heads are very positive when inserted into the screw being tightened or undone.So far they have stood up to daily use with little visible 'damage' to be seen. I ditched the tool rack in the box, perhaps a roll might have been of more use. depends on how you are storing/using them I suppose.If I ever need another set of electricians screwdrivers, I'll look for these again.

Once you buy a set of Wera screwdrivers with ground tips, you will never go back i promise you. I've made a right hash of screws with cheaper screwdrivers in the past and even expensive ones. But tips on these just become one with the screw, sent by the gods it seems at times.Yeah, you'll throw that screwdriver holder in the bin (unless you're a DIYer) but I would pay full price just for those pozi heads.Full VDE so perfect for wiring etc without risk of shockYou can smack them like hell with a hammer and they don't break (depending on your hammer, chiseldrivers by wera are a good option also)Honestly just buy them, you won't regret it when you use them

I have always used other brands of tools, mainly better known (quality) tools, but all I wanted was a cheap set of screwdrivers that would at least last, esp the posi tips and mini terminal. Once I got the set, I tried it out and it is great. The laser etched tips realy grab the screw heads and the handles are very cofortable in your hand.I may just purchase a second set to keep as stand-by. If you are a electrician (such as myself) you will notice that the tips work very well on contactors and relays without damaging the screws inside them.Very good purchase and excelent value for the price!!!!

I'm not an electrician, but do dabble with electronics and PLENTY of DIY, heck I even own one of the top ranked DIY forums, and I've got to say, simple is often the best... These have gripped heads on, thus no more slipping screwdrivers, its as if they bite into the screw head as soon as you twist..Damn tough too, have given them quite a beating and after a month, still as new..You dont have to be an electrician to appreciate these.. The grippy toughened heads on these and the colour really make them stand out from anything else.These make my stanley screwdrivers look pathetic!

I Bought these screwdrivers a while ago and decided to put them to use before giving a bias review. The laser tip really does help when trying to remove a screw with a stripped head, I found them that useful I used them even for non electrical jobs. The torque you can deliver with chunky heads is great, especially undoing a rusty screw or one that's stuck fast. The quality of the drivers are great, I've used them to pry things open and I've used them as a chisel. they really do hold up! I would recommend these to anyone. Wera even tested these screwdrivers at -40 degrees Celsius.

Wonderfull set of topclass screwdrivers, and a nice stand for the shed/garage wall.You dont get better than this, precision german made, and amazing value as it works out at about £3 for each one.Really look and feel the part.Just one minor critisism, the light bulb on the small electical tester screwdriver, when put against a live wire is totally useless ! its so dull that in bright daylight you cant see it light up - quite pathetic, and could be misleading and dangerous if you presume the cable is not live and carry on working ..... ZAPP !!

I must admit that I haven`t had to use them yet but have examined them, held them & tried unscrewing & screwing up one screw to test them, they feel comfortable to hold ^ very sturdy, The only thing is I hate the garish colours but they aren`t there to look pretty are they? I went for quality & not good looks, it`s no good buying screwdrivers based on the colour they`ve got to up to the job. I knew the colour when I ordered them. Very pleased with them. These are of better quality than the ones I mislaid.

I had a couple of the original version of these screwdrivers and had always found them to be well built and very comfortable to use. I recently decided to buy a set for work and the latest revision has kept all the positive points. In addition, the tips have some laser etching on them that makes them incredibly rough. This almost entirely prevents cam out and is an especially useful feature on the flat blade drivers as then no longer slip out the screw thread. Would definitely recommend this product!
