There are times when there is no room to get at a screw head. This screwdriver is good not only for difficult to reach screws but also it gives a torque advantage by having the handle slightly larger than normal. There is also a ratchet or locked feature which makes it easier to screw long screws. It comes with-...1 x Pozidriv PZ11 x Pozidriv PZ21 x Phillips PH11 x Phillips PH22 x Slotted 4.5 and 6mm.bits, which can be stored in the handle after removing the end cap. The bit holder is magnetic to help hold things in place while you get ready to screw.Being a Stanley product the quality is assured and the whole tool feels good and sturdy in the hand, not like some of the cheaper stubbys available. This is one for the long term tool kit not the use it, abuse it, lose it and buy another one type of tools. It feels like it would take a lot of abuse before breaking.I already have many hex drive screwdriver bits, this is where buying quality really pays off. Cheap bits usually break, often stripping out the screw head in the process. The bits supplied with this stubby are good quality.

Handy, small, ergonomic, adaptable screwdriver.Clever design whereby end bits are stored securely in the handle.Turning action can be reversed.Good quality and sturdy tool as expected from Stanley brand.Just what I wanted for odd jobs around the home and goes in my kitchen drawer neatly. I am really pleased with this product. It replaced one that I had lost some time ago (not a Stanley one) and I am pleased that I bought the Stanley Stubby as the interchangeable ends are more secure within the handle. Fits well in the hand and sufficiently small enough to get into awkward places as necessary.Good product, good design and good to use!

A useful tool when a standard size alternative would not fit. Unfortunately it seems less well made than the larger Stanley ratchet screwdrivers and feels 'slack' in its assembly. It is not provided with any aids for grip which may be of greater need in a compact screwdriver where there is much less to hold; an older model has a rounded triangular handle but this is smooth and completely round and hard rather than rubberised. The bits (2 flat, 2 Philips and 2 Pozi) are standard Stanley accessories but any 1/4-inch hex bits can be used.

A handy little multi-bit ratchet screwdriver, with the six bits stored inside the handle. The top unscrews to get at them, and each is held securely in its own shaped plastic grip. The screwdriver measures 10.5cm not including the bit.The ratchet works well - the only slight problem I have noticed it that if I have to put a lot of pressure on a screw, my grip encompasses the whole body of the screwdriver and my fingers move the ratchet setting.Recommended as a versatile little tool to have around.

This little screwdriver works very well. It replaces a similar one (from a different manufacturer) that died when a ball-bearing that holds the tips in place fell out; this Stanley screwdriver holds the tips in with a magnet instead, and I'm hopeful that it will therefore last rather longer. It fits nicely in the hand, and the storage compartment in the base holds the tips neatly. My only criticism is that it's too easy to knock the ratchet mechanism on and off by mistake when using the screwdriver.

Nice bright yellow colour makes it easier to find in toolbox (but my only other tool is a hammer, which is brown and black, so this was not an issue for me). Be aware - you have to turn it with your hand, there seems to be no motor in which is a bit old fashioned these days. Also, sometimes it wants to screw other times to unscrew.Guess I will get a second one if that becomes an issue, but I don't really need a screwdriver. My next investment might be a spanner. Or another hammer. Who knows?

Just the right size for bleeding my radiator. A long screwdriver tends to slip. Usually just as the water starts to flow. And it came to the rescue when my bathroom tap started to leak making the hot water pipes scream in the middle of the night. Just the right size to get behind the sink pedestal to isolate the hot water supply to the offending tap pending repair. The ratchet was really handy when screwing blind, as it were, as I didn't need to keep reseating in the screw head.

I bought this an year back from Amazon and I can confidently say that this is a brilliant screwdriver with versatility and quality built to last. It's extremely compact (it's bits are kept in it's head hidden!), stubby and solid. The rubbery head provides a adequate grip and the bits are of high quality. The amazon / seller service is as always top class (Packaging, and Delivery)Whats more do you need in £5?

Bought a cheaper mini-screwdriver once, the whole thing fell apart after a month. This thing though is way sturdier, better built and holds all the screw bits as well.I use it for tightening everything up on my snowboard and it does a good job at that. Small enough to fit in my bag and you kind of forget it's there until you need it. Cheaper than all the crappy "Snowboard Tools" that are available as well.

A superb little screwdriver, the ratchet makes it very useable in restricted spaces. Like most Stanley tools, feels right from first grip. Good touch to have the bits inside the stubby handle. I also use with adapter bits for 1/4" & 3/8" hex' sockets, makes it a brilliant tool. I've a fixed drive stubby on order, to compliment the ratchet model, as I find the range so good to use.HighlandPete

I bought this to carry with my small set of cycling tools. It's just great as most Stanley tools. Good quality, sturdy, comfortable and easy grip. Six bits hidden inside gives you a variety of options, or you could as well replace them with bits you use more frequently. The ratcheting mechanism is very useful and makes it easier to use with longs screws. More than happy with this product.

Terrific little screwdriver. I have had similar before but all have been rubbish by comparison. Magnetic bit holder is exactly what is required. Many others dont have this. Ideal fro those tight spaces. Ratchet feels very robust. Handle shape enables you to apply plenty of torque and pressure. Stanley all the way with general use screwdrivers. The bits provided are spot on also.

This dumpy screwdriver is a neat little tool, just the job for those awkward spaces. I used it for a simple cooker repair where I just couldn't get at the screws with a normal screwdriver. No problem at all with this screwdriver. I leave it in the kitchen drawer for odd jobs around the house rather than the toolbox. Very well worth the money, wouldn't be without it now.

Great for kids. My little one loves getting involved with the home build/repair jobs and she struggled with my driver. This one is great in terms of grip and ratchet action. My only gripe is the bits stored in the end can sometimes be difficult to remove (for myself too, not just my daughter) so it's best to chuck 'em loose in the end.

Very useful and works in most situations. I like it is magnetic and that you can lock it in different modes, what makes using it easier and faster. Sometime I had to use normal screwdriver, when I had to do something very very close to a wall. In such case this one is a bit too bulky. But in over 95% cases I would use this screwdriver.
