I have never used their brand before and couldn't find a local supply house that actually had them so I could feel the odd handle before I bought it but took a chance anyway. The color scheme stands out against all my other tools which is nice. So far I like it with one caveat: the middle section that is flared out I HATE with a fiery passion. It is like it was designed to not set in a tool belt. I can't tell how many times I've almost lost it in bushes, yards, houses, etc. Being insulated is a plus, especially for the price. My most important factor in switching brands is longevity of the square tip. I've only been in the trade for more than 4 years and have already worn out a couple Klein #2 Sq tips, despite their packages advertising a newer/better/stronger tip. It is still a bit early to tell as it has been about a month and a half in use but the tip seems to be stronger and have better bite. Again true test is a years time down the road assuming I don't lose it first. I'm going to most likely grind or file it down so it sits in the slot instead of defiantly sitting above it.

I bought this tool because the main panel in our hose blew and I knew I needed some quality tools pronto. I immediately liked this tool but didn't realize it was going to get better with age. The handle is sturdy and the tool itself is very light weight. It still feels very sturdy and I reach for this over any other tool in my electric bag.The best part about this tool... the square head works on most of the other outlets, switches, and screws in the new electrical system. I always thought (and maybe I missed this class) that the screws on electrical screws were phillips or flat. Not the case. This tool fits snugly and securely in the screw and doesn't strip out like so many other tools. If I could use this tool every day I would but with all of the fun I was having I finished the electrical system early!

A couple of sets of smaller Wera screwdrivers are owned and used and initially purchased as replacements for broadly similar tools from a UK-based budget brand whose tools are incapable of being used more than once or twice without damage being caused to the screws or components concerned as well as the tool; Wera's are confidence inspiring and tools for the professional as well as the keen amateur. Each will give many years of use. While not 'cheap', they are not especially expensive. This has the benefit, not previously seen in any other Wera screwdriver, of the 'Lasertip' which is a form of profiling to ensure solid engagement with the screw-head and may well improve the tool's efficiency;further use will prove those benefits.

Have used Wera for a number of years now and have never been let down, including with this product.Experience has shown they can withstand frequent and often abusive use by many hands on all manner of jobs happily. This screwdriver is no exception and has been designed to be used with no fuss. Tip is very precise and secure in screw head, handle is cushioned and comfortable even for larger hands, length of shaft is ample for a smaller tip and is also thin enough to fit into tight holes.

Stating the blindingly obvious.... it is intended for use on those wierd combination screws that are MEANT to be 'screwable' with either a Philips OR a slot screwdriver but which in practice are pretty useless with either. Those screws are commonly used on electrical connection blocks and I have seen them on flat-pack furniture. I can't see how to add a photo but I expect you know what I mean.THIS is the solution. It works perfectly and enables a secure electrical connection.

I've got a lot of Wera screwdrivers, and so I occasionally need to grab single ones for backup and replacements. I'm actually not that keen on the famous handle design, I prefer the plain 'bulb' type, but they're acceptable to me and the drivers are so excellent in every other way that I keep coming back to them. At the end of the day, they're actually quite keenly priced for high end drivers, and being readily available as well makes them my go-to. Highly recommended.

I work with tools a lot and I am very impressed on the quality and feel of this Screwdriver. I have purchased Klein Screwdrivers and been very happy with them. I was looking for a #2 Square Socket Screwdriver 6" long and have not been able to find one. Were Kraftform is the only one that I was able to find. There tools are great and last along time. Come to find out my favorite cabinet tip screwdriver is the same brand. I will be buying more from Wera Kraftform.

Perfectly machined tip. It certainly seems to be good, hard steel. No laser marking on this size though.Although the classic Wera handle shape does not work so well when this small, the handle is nevertheless a good compromise between 'power' and 'twiddling' convenience. The Fatmax equivalent is very slightly easier in my average man hands. Both are excellent in use but the Wera machining is better and it inspires confidence that it will last well.

With most products coming out of China and being produced a little cheaply with Phillips screws rather than the great "Pozzy" head, these are fantastic screwdrivers. With the laser etched grip lines, you'll never slip and thread out the screw head. Comforting when you're faced with a cheaply made screw that holds important gear together.

The blade is hard and grips well. It is vital to have the right size and type of screwdrivers to get consistent good results. Perfect for 2.5 mm flat headed electrical screws ;-) Can handle slightly bigger but why risk it? This screwdriver also has a good grip for such a small blade. Like it!

Wera are my go to screwdrivers I have a bunch of them and this 1 is ideal for connector strips and light switches etc. New identification on the top of the handle is bigger than previuos and easy to identify which driver is which when you have them in your external pockets on your trousers.

Excellent VDE screwdriver, can’t go wrong with Wera. The engineers at the company I work at had developed a horrible habit of designing devices with very small connectors. This has now become the master screwdriver which we use to determine the minimum connector size which can be used.

Bought this to replace the small flat head from the full set I’ve had since I qualified as an electrician (around seven years ago and got to say for the price they’re amazingly good screwdrivers I have fairly small hands and find these comfortable to use. Not much more to say really

Good electrical screwdriver but cheaper if you buy it in one of the firm's screwdriver sets. I only required one, so was happy to purchase but, had I required a set, made by the same manufacturer, I would have bought from one of the large DIY stores, hence the four stars.

Needed a new TX 6 and was looking to try a Wera or Wiha. The tip on my current one wore out after little usage. This one has dealt with some hard to shift screws. Neeeded a Tx 4 too but they don't make them in this model. Will be buying a 2nd as spare.
