I have never written a review for anything (bad I know) but this product has completely changed my baby daughters life. She had a little dry patch of skin on her leg as a newborn and gradually it became clear that it was eczema, which was eventually diagnosed by the doctor. I was given several different creams including Dermol 500, Zerobase and even hydrocortisone cream, which I was really reluctant to use but eventually my daughters legs became so sore and itchy I gave it a try. I use weleda products myself and had tried the baby calendula oil but even that seemed to be too much for my daughters sensitive skin. After reading reviews about the white mallow nappy cream and body lotion I tried it out.By this point I felt pretty desperate because my daughter was scratching and her skin was getting worse. I applied the body lotion all over and then applied the nappy cream directly onto the really bad patches in her legs and arms before bedtime, and when I checked my daughter the next morning it had almost completely disappeared!!!! The redness was totally gone and the dry patches had shrunk. It continued to improve each day with applying the creams at each nappy change and only bathing in plain luke warm water every 2nd day. After 1 week of following this routine there is absolutely no trace of eczema or dry skin, my daughters skin is so soft and healthy and she is no longer being distracted by itchy and sore skin. I honestly can't believe the results and would encourage anyone who is either suffering themselves or has a close one who is suffering to give this a try. I am so so delighted with the results, it's awful to see your little one in pain and discomfort and I'm so grateful to have found something that works and isn't full of nasty ingredients.

This is a good quality nappy cream with natural ingredients, and is free from preservatives and fragrances, so will be suitable for sensitive skin. It contains a lot of different oils, and does actually feel a lot more "oily" than other brands I've used, but this will be ideal for dried out skin like those times when your baby has a really sore bottom, or bad nappy rash. I'm planning to keep it specifically for those times rather than use it as a day to day barrier nappy cream that you'd apply even when their bottom looks okay - as it is so oily and extra moisturising it seems like it might be over kill as a day to day product. Because of that, the 50ml tube will last really well. It's not the cheapest brand of nappy cream at all, so this strategy seem better in that regard too as you could use a more basic one for the day to day, unless your child doesn't react well to basic ones (we don't have this problem here) in which case do try this all the time as it might suit better with the natural ingredients, and be less irritating. It is packaged well, the tube is easier to dispense from compared to other brands which come in a big tub. The consistency is quite thick, but it does wash off your hands well after applying. The packaging looks decent, and Weleda is a good brand that I would trust. The first time you squeeze the tube, you might get just oil come out - which happened to me at first, after that give it a bit more of a squeeze and the properly mixed cream will follow. I think it's just because the product is so oil heavy.

We began the regime using this Baby Derma range using the nappy cream and the body lotion . The Weleda calendula range is also great but my contact at Weleda said to try this as it was even more gentle for little ones.It wasn’t an instant fix but after a week or so his skin did seem to be less red on his back. My step daughter used nothing in his bath, just water. As it seemed to be helping she went to a friend who is a Weleda Adviser and bought the full sized bottle of lotion and tube of nappy cream. It took a few weeks but apart from when he was teething he stayed rash free on his body and the nappy rash only re occurred at teething times. This nappy cream has a lovely natural fragrance whichcomes from the beeswax and coconut oil so it isn’t a string smell but is a lovely natural smell you associate with babies, clean and gentle. The cream isn’t thick and gloopy like some nappy creams but spreads easily so you are not pulling at baby’s skin. It does have enough oils and of course the zinc which stops wetness getting to the delicate skin of the baby. When Harry was very sore we only used wet cotton wool or a damp cloth to wipe his bottom and we cleaned him at every nappy change before applying this cream. We also made sure his little bottom was dry before applying the cream.Weleda baby products have been Certified natural baby care and dermatologically proven skin-friendly on hypersensitive skin.

I love this very gentle, calming nappy cream.I found it to be great to calm red irritated skin that needs a little tlc and with the addition of zinc oxide it also offers skin a good barrier against moisture, so helps prevent problems occurring in the first place.I couldn't detect any scent other than a slight creamy beeswax. The cream spreads well and a small blob was all that I needed to cover the area.It is worth mentioning that on first opening the cream there was a small yellow oil floating on top,of the product, this appears to simply be natural separation and rubbed in with the cream when I used it.As this is described as a "hypersensitive and dry skin" cream I was a little surprised at the addition of lanolin,as this can cause allergic reactions, personally my family and I have no problems with this and have nothing but good things to say about this cream, but if you are allergic to this you need to be aware. The ingredients are as follows:ingredients (INCI): Water (aqua), Zinc Oxide, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Lanolin, Hydrolyzed Beeswax, Glyceryl Oleate, Beeswax (Cera Alba) Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Althaea Officinalis Root Extract, Viola Tricolor Extract, Glyceryl Caprylate, Sodium Caproyl/Lauroyl Lactylate, Lactic Acid.

I'm using this for dry skin, for which it's very effective. It has a very high oil content,so has a much more oleaginous texture than usual nappy creams, and while this is an advantage when it's used as an intensive moisturiser, I'm not sure that it's the best idea for a wriggling baby eager to leave oily bumprints all over the bedspread. It also separates in the tube, so you get a pure oil coming out when you first use it. and is the first product I've seen in years that still comes in a metal tube, which everyone else has stopped using for very good reasons. However , it is effective in what it does and is made of natural ingredients, so overall 4*.

Weleda Baby Derma White Mallow Nappy Cream is a nice to use cream which unlike other nappy creams we have used in the past, this has a very thin consistency though this does not stop the cream providing great results when it came to our youngest sore bum, which always seems to accompany when new teeth are appearing.I applied this cream and within a couple of days, the sore bottom was peachy smooth once again.Weleda Baby Derma White Mallow Nappy Cream is an excellent cream which provided great healing of our little one's delicate bum which makes this a great purchase.Happy to recommend.

This is pretty good especially if your baby has sensitive skin or you are using it for dry skin. For me sudocrem has always been the best for the baby this however is a bit easier for the skin to absorb and is a little softer. What I have noticed though is oil appearing at the top of this if you haven't used it for a couple of days. As a hand cream I think its a bit better due to its oily nature as it does make the hands a lot softer and its fragrance free so there is no overpowering smell which means it can be applied throughout the day.All in all good but just a little greasy.

A lovely thick rich bottom cream which is fragrance free and kind to sensitive skin. This cream has a consistency similar to burts bees nappy ointment or sudacrem - it's one which you only really need when bottom skin is looking a bit sore, and a little goes a long way - it cleared up a sore botty in 24hrs. I find it too thick for everyday use, and have used various bottom butters instead. I really like the Weleda brand and have used the calendula range of products on my little ones too so I'm glad to have found this for when nappy rash strikes!

All babies get specific times when they are more liable to get a nappy rash - when they've had an upset tummy, or are teething, for example. During these times they need a treatment cream that does more than just provide a barrier against ammonia. Weleda with it's all natural ingredients soothes, rehydrates, gets rid of redness and soreness and treats baby's skin until they are well again. So although it is a little pricier than an everyday cream I find that as a treatment cream that definitely does its job it is worth every penny.

I have used the Waleda Calendula cream since my oldest was born so was pleased to try the White Mallow cream on my youngest. It has very similar ingredients to the calendula cream with the calendula being replaced by white mallow extract and coconut oil. My son has sensitive skin and I found this worked just as well when he had bad nappy rash. It's not as thick as the calendula cream but it still provided good coverage. The cream contains lanolin and beeswax so wouldn't be suitable for those wanting a vegan product.

This cream reminds me most of metanium (the brightly coloured yellow one) as it comes in a metallic tube and sits on the skin forming a barrier layer rather than soaking in. It is comfortable on the skin due to its silky, high oil content. Even after a few uses you get a pool of yellow oil on top of the white cream on opening the tube. You don't get that with metanium although that stuff also self propels itself out of the tube and stains everything. It doesn't smell. Photo below of it sitting on my hand.

Love this nappy cream and feels great to know it has no nasties in it like the whole Weleda range. Some baby products contain awful things these days made from petrol which make me sad so how fantastic that Weleda makes 100% natural products so I can give my babies the best. This cream is so thick that you don't need much but the results are great on sore bottoms. Buy it you won't regret it..I use all the baby range from Weleda it's fab

Very effective. More liquid than Bepanthen, and goes on smoothly and easily. I use this on my toddler when she has irritation from not wiping properly (she is just toilet training) and it clears up her skin over night. It is really good at soothing irritation as well as preventing it. I like that this is an all natural brand that I am familiar with already, and the quality lives up to the expectations I had from other Weleda products.

We've tried many different changing creams over the months and the one thing I always found was that many seemed to leave a film on the skin and often stain clothes etc. This is much better in that it does not and seems to absorb nicely - it doesn't really have much of a smell and our baby's skin does feel nice and soft. The best part for us is the fact that it doesn't contain nasties - huge fan of the Weleda products for this reason

I love all the Weleda products I've tried and this is no different. It has the usual excellent credentials when it comes to natural ingredients, but it actually works too. Definitely helps soothes my youngest's skin when it's getting sore and doesn't seem to sting or irritate her at all. Not that it matters, but the packaging is very nice too. A little goes a long way, so I can see this lasting us a good few months. Lovely stuff.
