Active Fit Size 4 + Monthly Saving Pack - 20-44lbs or 9-20kg - 140 Nappies (4 packs of 35)Active Fit Size 5 Monthly Saving Pack - 24-55lbs or 11-25kg - 136 Nappies (4 packs of 34)This review is for both the size 4+ and size 5 Pampers Active Fit Monthly Saving Packs. We (my husband and I) originally tried Pampers nappies when our son was first born and having tried them and not been immediately impressed we opted to use Huggies as they had the wetness indicator and cut out section for the umbilical cord and just seemed to fit better. We then re-tried Pampers when our son was around six months old as he went through a period where no matter what time we put his Huggies nappy on and including doing a 'middle of the night change'he was waking up soaking in the early hours of the morning. We again were disappointed with Pampers as they didn't seem to last anywhere near as long as the Huggies nappy did. Now with the announcement of Huggies ceasing to supply the UK with nappies, we have started to use Pampers as our main nappy, but we have been using their 'Baby Dry' nappies. We have been 'testing' Pampers Active Fit for the last few weeks and I have to say that although not overly impressed we are much more impressed with the nappies than we previously had been. The Active Fit nappies certainly appear to last longer than the Baby Dry ones although it's still a bit hit and miss on the whole 12 hour dryness thing as it depends entirely on how big a wee our son does but to be honest we could have said that about Huggies nappies also. The Active Fit ones are certainly more flexible and have obviously been designed to be more 'movable'. During normal day wear, they are perfectly fine (although we are changing his nappy at least every 2 hours) however we are still struggling of a night time and haven't managed yet for our son to wake up dry and it just appears that the nappies can't cope for a prolonged period of 10+ hours. What I can confirm is that Pampers new claim to 12 hour nappy dryness is more viable than their previous model as they certainly seem to last a lot longer although not the full 12 hours in our household. My main criticism is that the nappies still tend to bunch up at the front with wee so end up 'drooping' quite a lot and obviously the previously mentioned point that we don't get the full 12 hours dryness. I am a lot happier with the Active Fit nappies than the Baby Dry ones and so we are swapping to Active Fit in the future. I really like these monthly saving packs and each box is lasting us just under a month so does work out more cost effective. In summary a much improved nappy which makes me feel happier about the switch from Huggies.

Love these nappies they never let me down and the Amazon family price is just fantastic value for money.I've tried many brands over the last 12 months always returning to the Pampers. Can't beat them for keeping the poo in!Everyone moaning about the Prime subscription - the nappies are much cheaper than the high street so stop moaning!! Plus why keep on giving one star just because of the Prime thing??? With in a year I've saved more than my prime membership with the next day deliveries etc so imo it's excellent valueUPDATEAnyone receiving the nappies with the blue lines in these are real pampers. I was concerned after reading a review where the reviewer said they where fake.So I contacted Pampers the other day here is their response.."Hi Catherine, thanks for contacting me and for also sending photos. I can appreciate your concern as these nappies look so different from the Active nappies you’ve been used to. However, I can reassure you that these are our new Premium Protection Active Fit nappies, they’re an exciting upgrade to the Active Fit range as they contain our newest technology. This new breakthrough technology includes Magical Pods, which are 3 absorbing channels that help distribute wetness evenly so it stays drier, you should see that it doesn’t sag in the middle. I think they’re great but I’d really like to hear how you LO gets on with them? If you have any questions or concerns please ask Catherine. Hope this has helped a little and that you and your family have a lovely Christmas"So the nappies are real - I sent many pictures to pampers to be sure.

I am currently using a range of sizes of these nappies for babies that I look after and each size live up to their good name.As long as they are placed and securely fastened they will not leak (it may take one or two changes to perfect it if you have not used similar napies before). There is sufficient absorbency material to soak up the contents of the fullest bladder and the larger sizes naturally contain more material. Wetness is locked away, but obviously the liner isn't completely dry, but if you are caught out and can't change the nappy immediately you do have a bit of elbow room before the soiled nappy becomes a skin problem. Some of the moisture of bowel movements are drawn out,but as with any nappy there is no way to keep this off the skin, so a change asap is required. The elasticated sides are soft and easily follow the contours of the skin and do not seem to interfere with the babies movements. The internal lining is soft and the external shell is tougher with attractive gender neutral designs and colours. They come packed in a plastic sleeve which keeps them compressed and they are folded to form a slim package. One thing I will advise is that when purchasing these look at the different pack size options and cost. Prices on Amazon fluctuate and sometimes you get a better deal if you buy a smaller pack size. At the time of review the size 3 nappy 256 pack is about 14p per nappy whereas the 204 pack is around 9p per nappy with the 60 pack around 11p per nappy.A secure and quality nappy at a reasonable price.

After having tested these nappies for a while I can say we're totally happy.Had no spills even during 'runny' moments... And just one rash that when away in a day.Maybe we've been lucky, and the materials used for the nappies are just right for us, but we tried other brands too with results less satisfying. They won't break when you try to close it with a super wiggly child (it happened with other brands), and you can close and open it a few times thanks to the Velcro like closure. The sides are soft and elastic so they adapt the the baby and follow his/her movements. The leg cuffs are very flexible, yet they wont release anything. As for the fit, size 6 is officially suited for 15+kg 33+lbs,but my child weight less (13kg) and we prefer this size to the 5+.I find its more suitable for the belly circumference 'cause I don't won't it too tight in this area. They don't have the color changing indicator for when the nappy is wet, but you'll see it and feel it: it will be plumper and soft and bouncy to the touch. You can find cheaper brands, but Pampers has always met our needs, and to try and spend less, I use the Prime Save&Subscribe program. This way, they come discounted, and if we have other stuff in our monthly list, the discount get bigger! Yay for bargains. The Monthly Pack will come in a sturdy and useful cardboard box (we use it for painting or games or to put away clothes).Inside the box there are 3 compact packs with 40nappies each. This way you can decide how to store them.

We've only ever used Pampers nappies for our little one (now 7 months old) - but they've been absolutely great (not sure "I love it" - which is what Amazon has put next to the 5 stars I've given these is quite right for nappies though!).They seem like really good quality - and generally do what they are supposed to do (other than the occasional 'explosion' - which I'm not sure you can do anything about...) - and are easy to put on and take off and the fasteners hold well etc.We get these on Amazon subscription - which is perfect as you get them for cheaper than from anywhere else (even supermarkets etc) - which is great as you're going to be spending quite a bit on them.Plus they just turn up automatically every month - no need to go out shopping!Just work out how many you'll need each month (which will be a lot!) - and buy they right size pack - although the largest pack of each has usually been about right for us - but just order a one-off smaller pack if you need any more (have only had to do this once or twice). One tip though - keep an eye on the sizes - remember that the pack that's going to be delivered in a week or two after Amazon remind you your next delivery is due soon - will need to last you for a whole month - and your little one may have moved to the next size up by then. We had one month when we ended up with lots of spare small ones when he'd moved up to the next size - but I keep an eye on it better now and if in doubt get the next size as you'll use those anyway.

Ordering 140 nappies gives you four plastic packs of 35 nappies each, in a cardboard box. I find this very convenient, as you can store the individual packs much more easily than you can store a large box. The waste doesn't seem too excessive, as disposable nappies go.Generally Active Fit are very good, high quality nappies. They're very absorbent, and they don't leave red marks. They rarely leak and our daughter seems to find them comfortable. They're very slim, and pack very neatly into a nappy bag. The fastenings are more stretchy than some other nappies, which is a good thing, and they seem to fasten well and can be restuck when necessary, without ripping the nappy itself as sometimes happens with other brands. Our daughter also likes elephants, so the occasional pointing-at-the-elephant-on-her-nappy moment is quite sweet.Having talked to other parents, how well the Active Fit works seems to depend on the shape of your baby. It fits ours well, but there is a something of an air vent at the back- not normally a problem, unless she's lying down after a particularly bad nappy, at which point the danger is that the nappy's contents are free to rise up the baby's back somewhat. Because of this, I'd probably say that for us, Pamper's Baby Dry just slightly has the edge over the Active Fit, but your experience may vary.

When ordering nappies for a 15-month-old one naturally picks a size 'ahead' of where the infant is at so as to get the maximum value out of the pack of items. That's what I have done with this pack of Pampers, but it is not compatible with sending in a review based on months of experience. The new 30-day Vine review rule was not, I guess, drawn up with babies' nappies in mind. However -- everything looks and feels all right so far. The one significant complaint that I have seen in other notices concerned some kind of plastic or chemical odour. Even that apparently dissipated after the package was left open, and it does not seem to have been a widespread problem, nor did my grandson's parents encounter this issue. The design improvements as advertised tick a series of right boxes. Add to all this their experience (and probably my own if I could remember that far back) of the Pampers brand, and it all amounts to a feeling of confidence that the new variety is going to be at least as satisfactory as the previous kind was, and probably even more so.I'm not allowed to wait a few months before submitting a review, but here's a vote of confidence anyway to be going on with.

Have now tried most nappies in search of the best mix of comfort, ease and leak-resistance. These are the lighter, more flexible nappy of Pampers' range, whereas the Babydry nappies are slightly heavier and seem to have a hygroscopic layer of slightly more substance. In actual use, both are dry to the touch, even when heavy with pee, after a night without a change. Whether, at this size (fitting nicely from 8 weeks on) the added "flex" makes much difference to the thrashing, screaming, ball of fat that the nappy contains, is moot. On the matter of sizing, the size range is wide enough to allow ample overlap with size 2 and 4, so buying either side of perfect fit is fine, and meaning this bummper sized pack won't be wasted, and will be good value. My only slight anxiety when recommending these is the waste issue. Admittedly, there is the option for non-disposables, but there are some places that parenthood and guilt won't take me. I did like the enviro-credentials of the Naty nappies, and their fit and feel is excellent, but the Pampers do a far better job of keeping the baby comfortable, and overflow far less often. Heartily recommended.

I didn’t read this right I thought I was ordering nappy pants. I could have bought cheaper had I looked properly. Still not a bad price, as they where on prime. Being a member of Prime I try to buy through prime only. Let’s face it pampers are by far the best nappy’s. I genuinely think so anyhow. These where for one of my granddaughters. When the disposable nappy’s first started to hit the market was about 6 months after I had my first child. Pampers if I remember rightly was the first brand to be brought out followed by other brands. So instead of the terry cloth nappy’s I gave them a try. In all honesty I soon went back to terrys because all disposables gave my children bad and I do mean bad nappy rash, although I can say other brands where worse than pampers. Things have changed a lot since then. I actually went I. To have a massive gap of 3 children and I started again in the 90s and had two more. I by then used disposable, only pampers because some brands where still giving terrible nappy rash so that’s all I ever bought and it’s all I will buy for my granddaughters

These are good absorbent nappies for active babies and toddlers, but thin enough not to impede their crawling and running around. Ok, they don't have the absorbency performance of the the Pampers Baby Dry nappies, which are the only nappies I am willing to use on my little one at night, but these are very good when your baby or toddler is active during the day. The main plus point with these nappies are the stretchy and more generous tabs on the side that hold the nappy together, which come in handy if your little one is anything like my toddler and absolutely refuses to lie down when it comes to nappy changing time. You can just about put them on with a toddler standing up and they are less expensive than pull up nappies, which I sometimes have to resort to when my little one refuses to even stand still. These seem more comfortable on my toddler than pull ups (as some brands such as Huggies) seem to chafe on the hips due to the type of velcro they use to hold up the pants on the side. Pampers Active Fit Nappies are great day time nappies.

Having stocked up on Huggies before our newborn arrived, we quickly discovered that Huggies were to cease selling most of their products in the UK.What to do?We pondered several brands, including several supermarket own brands, but read a lot of good things about Pampers. The switch between brands could not have been easier, and our little man didn't even notice - and he can be very sensitive when it comes to nappy matters :-)I've got to say that I actually think that these are better nappies than Huggies. They are incredibly absorbent, and our little one does like a good wee! And the strip on the front of the nappie turning from yellow to green is the perfect indicator for when it is time for a change.Be aware that these 204 nappie boxes are huge, but are conveniently split down into 4 smaller packs - so be sure that you have space to stash them. We worked out that each of these boxes would last for close to a month, and at 0.16p per nappie, these are amazing value for money! We could not be more happy.

I think, as a parent, you tend to have a favourite brand of nappies, which you stick to if you possibly can, through thick and thin. I started with my first baby in Pampers, and have never looked back to be honest. They never disappoint in terms of fit, and wear and having kept my babies dry at night. Nappy rash is always minimal, and it is brilliant to have a brand you can rely on. These are no exception. What I can say about ordering them from Amazon specifically is that you can order in a bulk you would rarely buy in yourself, due to the effort of having to carry them, and delivery was speedy and efficient. I know you can order nappies in your online shop with big supermarkets, but there have been times when I have ordered them only for them to disappear out of my order at the last moment, leaving me in a (literal) mess. The Amazon delivery is reliable and, as long as you are there to take delivery, you get what you order when you order it. In this case over 200 nappies delivered within 24 hours of ordering.

A bumper pack of Pampers Active Fite, 204 nappies at a good price, sounds good! My youngest is currently coming up on the 6 month mark and is starting to wriggle and move much more as she explores the world around her. This means she needs a nappy which is comfortable during movement, doesn't restrict her, yet retains the ability to keep pee and poo off the floor and clothes. So far, these have succeeded at every goal. Cheaper brands have a habit of leaking, but as yet we haven't had this problem with Pampers on our second child, but if she is anything like her older sister, we'll be moving to pull-ups soon. One problem my eldest didn't have is with rashes - my youngest seems to have some allergies which are bringing her skin out in quite harsh looking rashes at times,so there is an extra dependency on our nappes being absorbant, and of not being loose or damaging to her skin. Once again, there seems to be no problem here. In a world of wet bums, this is the sanest choice.

These nappies are great and do exactly as described! Bought for a baby boy (10 months) who is very wriggly, now crawling well and has started to walk holding on, so we thought it was time to switch to the so called "active fit", as the supermarket brand - whilst good - were certainly bulkier. We have no regrets! He's able to move very comfortably, never looks like he's "fat" around his bottom after an hour or so of use, but most importantly has never leaked despite him being a big drinker. We've also tried these over night. We were a fan of the Pampers Baby Dry over night, but these seem just as dry, no leaks, no nappy rash, and does the same in the night time as the day - he wriggles all over the cot all night long and these have coped very well!My only complaint is that they are more expensive than the Baby Dry - they rarely leaked too, and for the extra cost, would probably stick to saving money and just using the Active fit through the day when he's most active!

We've used Pampers with our baby since birth, and nearly 8 months in (over 1000 nappies used) we're really happy with the products. Here's what we've experienced with them. Firstly and most importantly, they're comfortable for the baby - there haven't been any incidents of nappy rash, and the fit seems to be ideal through the size ranges with no chafing or tightness around the legs or waist. The handful (no pun intended) of `breaches' that we've had have been down to us putting them on slightly incorrectly due to extreme sleep deprivation, and no fault of the nappy itself - they're so easy to put on and take off. We've noticed that the `yellow strip' that indicated when the nappy was wet has been phased out over the last few months, and that's no big loss - we never found it particularly useful. Overall we've found these are really reliable and dependable, and we'll continue to use them throughout our baby's time in nappies.
