It is always tough reviewing something like a disposable nappy given the harm they pose to the environment however they are essential for some and we do use them on our baby alongside washables so here we go!Pampers are a trusted brand for nappies however we have always used washables plus a disposable with eco credentials in the past so it is heartening to see that the leading brand is making steps to be more environmentally friendly. Although these still end up in landfill the small changes in manufacturing and nappy content are a step in the right direction. We are using size 4 nappies on our somewhat giant 5 month old and so far have been impressed. They fit well on legs and tummy and we have not experienced any leaks. They are soft and do not smell chemically like many nappies. The yellow stripe which turns blue when the nappy is full is a useful feature which we have not had with our previous brands. The little pictures on the nappies are nice enough but they always seem somewhat unnecessary and I would be happy without them, indeed I personally would prefer a plain nappy. Our son doesn't get hugely sore with his nappies but he does get red patches which need a bit of nappy cream regularly. These nappies don't seem to make much of a difference to this so I can't say they seem to have a positive effect on rashes, but they are definitely not making anything worse.Price wise these are more expensive than many nappies but not excessively so and at the moment this offer form Amazon for 160 at £28 makes them around 18p each. Overall these are a good first step in the right direction and they do a great job.

As a parent you can find yourself throwing out a lot of stuff and it sticks in your craw as you want a decent world for your kids to grow up. Little wins help like swapping your very disposal nappies for something less so. The best option is to use cloth reusable nappies, but that is a messy job that many people don't want to do. The 'Pampers Pure Protection' lets you move to something that is a little better for the environment and should be better for your child's skin. The materials used here are more plant based than the normal Pampers and therefore are more sustainable, but they don't appear to be biodegradable, so they are not helping with landfill. They are comparable to NUK nappies, but have not gone as far as that brand. This is not the worst thing as the 'Pampers Pure' are more absorbent. They hold a lot of liquid as you would expect from a Pampers, but we have had one accident. That is one more than our previous old school Pampers had. Therefore, they do not seem to be able to hold quite as much. For a sensitive nappy it is good to see that the colour strip is still present that tells you when the nappy needs to be changed. The Size 4 are a good size, if a little on the 4+ side. My baby does not have that sensitive skin so has never really suffered from rashes etc. This means that some of the benefits of this brand are lost and you are paying a premium for something you may not need. However, if you do have a child prone to nappy rash or you want something that is a touch more sustainable, then these are a good option as they provide that Pampers quality still.

baby number 3 and i can honestly say they are the best. i honestly dont think a lot of the comments are about these nappies and maybe another pampers version (i noticed this on another website when i reading reviews). they do not smell of chemicals. they do not leak. fit well and no rash. i have tried countless brands and versions and at some point they all leak or cause a rash. you can have a lie in without having to wake baby for nappy change with these nappies. if they do not wake during the night you dont have to disturb them to change their nappy. Plus these nappies do not hang as soon as baby pees, or go lop sided and they cover baby's butt.I really wish these were available when i had my 1st 2 kids and that they came in bigger sizes and even pull ups. my girl has since moved to a size 6 so for now we cant use these but used them from newborn so a good 1.5yrs. I cannot find a single nappy as good. none of the other pamper nappies compare, ive tried all other brands, all varying in price. the closest ive found is fred and flo pull ups but they hang and go lopsided. pampers pure are probably on the more expensive side but i honestly think they are worth it and ive often seen buy one get one free in tesco or boots so keep an eye out and stock up then.

Been using this since my daughter was born(not size 3 though...). It’s a good absorber without the chemical smell!I started looking into nappies before my baby was due. We stumbled upon this (at the time) new product from pampers. We tried many other cheaper brands as most parents will say the one from Lidl is perfectly fine you don’t need to spend so much money on nappies...I gotta say this is superior quality to any other brand. The fact they removed most chemical and started using mainly cotton makes is very comfortable for the baby to use. We never had any issues with nappy rash and my daughter has a sensitive skin. It doesn’t smell unlike cheaper brands. You will notice it straight away as you open it.I switched to normal ones for a short while to compare the two. Absorbency wise there is no difference. They both hold the substances very well. I had some dirty nappy leak with the Pure but that was mainly because she was on the higher end of the scale for the sizing. When I switched to larger size the problem was solved. The pattern makes it very cute for her to wear unlike other brands with plain nappies. All in all it’s a very good absorbing, no-smell, low chemical nappy which is very comfy for your baby’s bum. Definitely recommend.

I have seen many reviews on this product (especially focused on negative review). I have been buying pure nappies since my child was 1 month old. I tried the premium version and found lots of rash (where i am agreeing with the other reviewers!). This product gives almost less rashes. My daughter has not shown any sign of discomfort (she is now 5 months old). It is odourless and do what it is described! I will recommend this product to all those parents who are extra cautious especially with rashes and sensitivity of new born baby. Yes it is bit pricey but this is what you can pay for the comfort and for the nature (plant-based nappies).Simply do not agree with those reviews which compares premium vs plant based nappies and describes both as same product! If you really want to see the difference, or want to select the right nappies for your baby from pampers? Just visit https://www.pampers.co.uk/safety-and-commitment/nappies-and-wipes/article/pampers-nappy-size-and-type-guideI am not working at pampers but after seeing some senseless negative reviews, i thought i should write review (this will be my 4th purchase as soon as i post this review).Hope this review helps.

We have been using the size 4 nappy with our grandson, it is a good fit from 9kg to about 14kg. The design is restrained in colour, with drawings of cartoon animals in pastel colours. The nappy feels very soft and light when you put it on your child, and the elasticised fit prevents most leakage - sometimes the nappy by the morning will have leaked a bit after an 11 hour sleep, in the daytime we change it more often or it becomes a heavy weight for a toddler to carry around! The Pure version of Pampers uses plant based fibres and is free from chlorine and chemicals. But it still has to be disposed of in landfill unfortunately. This bumper pack of 160 nappies is well priced at just under £25 - 16p per nappy, and having the box delivered is a great help if you are not shopping by car. When you add all that up plus the cost to the environment though, it is an incentive to start that potty training sooner rather than later.

Finally, a mainstream brand that's gone chlorine and chemical free in a disposable! These are soft, softer than standard nappies, absorbant and seemingly a comfortable fit for baby.Usually a budget supermarket version work out better value than the top brands for the same quality. However, these have the added benefits of being low on chemical additives and more eco friendly. Yes they are not cheap. It's roughly 16p per unit, but if you are using reusable ones and want a quality disposable one for occasional use or for traveling ect these are fab.If you are using disposable for your child then these give the reassurance that you are reducing the ecological impact of raising your child which is a bonus for anyone in this day and age! These will roughly be for a 3-6 month old child,13-20lb (ish) and have an absorbancy of upto 12 hours which is great for those mythical infants that sleep right through!

These are good. My little nephew, like both his older brothers, has chronically sensitive, eczema-prone skin that can leave him really miserable and some nappies can irritate his skin. Not these Pampers Pure nappies. They've proved to be lovely and soft, and there have been no signs of redness, rash, rawness, or flaking skin. The tapes work as they should, the nappies move well - just as well as at just 10 months, my nephew is walking independently - and at quite a lick. The elasticated area around the tops of his legs has coped with both increased movement and him losing a bit of weight in this region now that he's on the go under his own steam. These last well, and their absorbency is very effective, lasting right through the night with no leakages. Very impressed indeed. The bulk packets are convenient. Having had these to try, we've switched to these instead of ordinary Pampers Active Fit.

I did a lot of research into different nappies prior to having my baby, I wanted something that was not full of nasties and these nappies promised that. As soon as we started using these nappies, (one down side is that they do not offer size 0 so we were unable to use them at first), my baby has not had any soreness or nappy rash. They do not have the offensive chemical smell that many nappies do and do not smell strongly once wet. They are very soft and come in very cute designs. I briefly tried another brand as these nappies do not come cheap but quickly changed back as the others gave her a rash on her back. You do need to change these nappies more often than most alternatives though as they become quite heavy at the front if wet.If you do not size up quick enough they will leak but this is not a failing of this nappy. Very happy to use this one my little one.

Pampers have an excellent reputation for nappies and these are no exception. These are size 3 to fit babies weighing 6 to 10 kilograms (or in English 13 to 22 lbs) which on average would be babies from roughly 3 to 6 months. Our grand daughter is nearly 3 months so she will be wearing this size very soon. They appear to be very robust with elastic around the legs to prevent leakage. They are soft and made from natural materials, mainly cotton-based fibres, and they don't contain any perfumes or latex or other irritants, so will be comfortable for a baby's soft skin. They have a blue stripe wetness indicator and come decorated with cute rabbits and things. You get 180 nappies for £29 so that works out at approximately 16p per nappy. Not the cheapest nappy on the market, but good quality and should last a long time without leaking or making the baby sore.

Although we have used various brands of nappy since our youngster was born, the one we buy most often is Pampers. Our baby doesn’t have an overly sensitive skin, but the fewer chemicals that he comes into contact with – especially via a wet nappy - must be a good thing. Although these Pampers Pure do feel a little softer than the regular ones, and the degree of absorbency is no less efficient, I can’t honestly say that I’ve noticed a huge amount of difference. Having said that, I am prepared to pay a little extra, knowing that there will be no perfume, chlorine bleaching, etc. lying next to his skin. Nappies are the scourge of landfill sites, and although these are not fully biodegradable,I like to think that - being made of sustainable plant-based fibres - they are a step up from the plastic-laden ones of the past.

'Pampers Pure Protection Nappies' provide all the quality you would expect from a Pampers nappy. We haven't had any leaks and they seem to work really effectively at wicking away moisture, which helps to avoid nappy rash. That all being said, I'm not sure they are any better than original Pampers and the added softness and natural materials don't do enough to justify the additional cost. It would be great if they were biodegradable; in the UK, we throw away around eight million non-biodegradable nappies each and every day, and this accounts for nearly 3% of our household waste. So I personally see this as a missed opportunity for Pampers to reduce their carbon footprint. But if your baby hassensitive skin then these nappies might be just the ticket.

The first thing to note is that the current price of around £25 on Amazon represents great value for money - a significant saving on what we’ve been paying at our local supermarket (although admittedly it was for smaller sized packs rather than for a monthly bumper pack like this). These tick everything we look for in a nappy and for this reason we’ve been busy them recently. They are soft and irritant free with no unnecessary perfume or other additives. The elasticated legs provide excellent leak proof protection and the wetness indicator is something we always look for. On top of that the designs are cute. As the name Pure suggests you’re get a no nonsense product with no nasties added.Recommended.

Finally one of the big brands doing a nappy that doesn’t feel quite so toxic! We’d never had to think about it with our first baby as he never suffered from rashes but our second baby got awful nappy rash really quickly. Health visitor suggested moving away from Pampers to one of the cheaper brands because they don’t have the toxic crystals in them, but this obviously also makes them less absorbent and we were getting through them so fast and having poopy leaks it was driving us mad. Then we saw these! No more nappy rash and not having to change him constantly. Only downside is we do still get more poop leaks than I remember with our first but no nappy rash and no funny chemical smelleither.

These Pampers are as good as you would expect from this brand. The seals around the legs are good, as long as you get the right size, and they are absorbent and seem comfortable. They are quite a premium price - for this you get 'plant-based' materials, which is very vague. I would imagine they would be well worth trying if your baby suffers with sensitive skin. However, they come with a downside - compared to standard Pampers, we found them less absorbent, and so we needed to change them more often. Whether or not this is worth it for you depends on whether the fewer chemicals has a positive impact on your baby's skin - if it does they would be a great option.
