Great seat, little girl wasn’t sure at first but took to it really quickly. I have wrist issues caused by pregnancy and bath time can be difficult if I am on my own holding baby up and this has made so much of a difference as I can now bath baby on my own with no issues and without hurting myself.Positives:- much easier being hands free at bath time having instead of having to hold her up and she doesn’t slip about like she did previously.- comfy seat, doesn’t dig in or rub in any way- the ball on the front is fun to play with- lovely colour options- easy to get in and out, no latches or anything to open and close. Just slot baby in.(If your little one is anything like mine they will probably bend their legs and arch their backs making it difficult but this is the same with any seat, unfortunately there’s no getting round this. Babies will be babies after all haha!)- suction is really good, never slides or falls. I even sucker it to the wall after use and it stays on and doesn’t fall off.- turns round meaning baby can face either way which is goodCouple of downsides:- max water level mark is quite low down so little girl sometimes struggles to reach toys and to splash in the water, and I’ve noticed she gets colder quicker as her top half is sticking out of the water but these are minor issues that the positives more than make up for- it can be hard to clean underneath baby, it’s ok if there’s two of you as one can hold baby up while you clean underneath but if you’re on your own baby can be a bit sloppy to hold up and clean underneath all by yourself.- water sometimes collects in the base but just make sure you tip it out and it shouldn’t cause any issues- very very minor downside, the blue is a lot more blue than it looks on the picture, it looks more pastelly purple but is much more blue. Not an issue but thought I’d mention it.Overall a brilliant seat, it’s made bath time much easier and little girl like sitting up feeling grown up in the big bath!

Having had three children, I think it speaks for itself how much I value this product, having bought one of these seats for each of them as babies. The bath seat is very simple to use and my boys have all been comfortable, safe and secure when seated in this at bathtime.Babies do need to be stable sitters before moving to this stage of bath seat, otherwise they tend to slump forwards slightly and can find their delicate area crushed against the central column. Once attached to the base of the bath, this is very secure as there are a number of strong suction pads on the base to keep this in position. I think this is an essential item for any parent, especially if bathing more than one child at once. This gives the parent their hands free but the reassurance that their baby is secure in the bath. The recommended maximum age is up to 12 months, although I found that one of my sons was comfortable in this seat until he was two years old! Larger babies might find the legs space a little restrictive over the age of one, however, particularly when being placed in the seat and while getting out.The only drawback to this design is how easily the underside attracts mould and mildew as there are a number of holes and nooks and crannies on the base. You really do need to dry this thoroughly after each and every use, otherwise it is impossible to clean thoroughly. That's why I've had to replace the seat for each child although, fortunately, I think this is an inexpensive product that is well worth the cost.

I wish I had bought this earlier as it makes bath time so much easier and really saves your back. My daughter is 8 months old and she baths every night with her 3 yr old sister. Previously, I had to remove the baby from the bath to wash the eldest one's hair as she was not stable enough to be left sitting alone without my arm behind her back, ready to grab her if she slipped. Now, I am hands free so washing is much easier and I can now actively join in with the fun and games. It goes without saying that you should not leave the room whilst they are using this chair but I can now also wash the bathroom whilst they are playing. Before, I had resisted buying this as I knew that I would use it for a limited time only but it is worth every penny. She is so comfortable in it that she enjoys her bath more too. It suctions well to the bottom of the bath and the chair swivels so she can turn to grab her toys as they float past. I had considered the other type of chair that is also a built in bath mat but I am so glad that I chose this one as it is more portable and there is still room for my normal bath mat so that my eldest daughter does not slip. I really recommend it and just wish I had bought it when she was first sitting around 6 months old.

We bought this for my daughter as she outgrew her baby-bath at about 7 months old. This seat is quite solid and well built, and has suction cups to adhere it to the bottom of a bath. The suction cups work well in anchoring it during bath times - but it is also easy enough to remove from the bath when not in use. Shes currently 8.5 months old and enjoys sitting up in the bath - and there is plenty of room in it that'll mean she won't be outgrowing this anytime soon. There is a spinning ball on the front of the seat, but my daughter isn't really interested in playing with it. It does not easily 'spin' - otherwise she might have been more willing to play with it.My only suggestion with this product is that this would be better if the plastic bottom that the baby sits on, was made of a non-slip material, or if there were grooves for sitting into more easily. I find she does slip and slide a bit in it when it's wet - although this doesn't appear to trouble her and doesn't affect it's primary use - which is to keep baby upright and safe.Overall, this feels like a very safe, well built product and very good value to ensure there are no bumps or slips during bathtime.

I wasn’t sure if I should buy this after reading the mixed reviews, we did have the baby bath support and found that brilliant but needed the ‘next thing’ as baby was wriggly and I was terrified she was going to flip herself out of the baby support. I bought this after not really being able to find anything else and I’m really glad I did. When we first started using it my little one wasn’t able to sit unsupported and we had a few days where she was slumped in the chair in the bath which didn’t look great or very comfortable her bottom also kept slipping to the front of the seat. However, after using this for about a week I think something clicked for her and it actually helped her learn how to sit unsupported which has rectified the issue of her slipping forward in the seat). The chair itself has really strong suction so sticks easily to the bottom of the bath (I have a standard size bath and have never had an issue with them all not touching the bottom). The seat gives me confidence when doing bath time that baby is safe and it’s great for giving her the confidence to lean and play with her toys knowing she isn’t going to land in the water.

Bought two of these for my wife (and grandmother) to use when we were taking over duties with our daughters 7 month old twins. As anyone knows, one baby is tough but two? Multiply by four the difficulties. So, anything that makes life a bit easier and safer is welcome and these little seats do a great job in that respect. The original bathtime cradles where - and are very good - but recline the baby back quite a long way. And as the twins got older and longer we found that the little legs became offensive weapons as they kicked about. So sitting up solves the problem and these make it safe to do so.Clearly you can't leave the babies alone, but it does make it much easier to put each one into the bath in turn and then remove them. They are well held in place and they can't slide out. Because they are upright we don't have the issue over one child being lamped in the head by the other as they splash about as well.In terms of build. Well, plenty good enough. They are strong and stick firmly to the bottom of the bath.Overall, a great little thing to make washing the babies just that bit easier and more fun.

we bought this seat for our 8 month old daughter because she is now at a stage where she wants to turn herself over and wriggle off in the bath, but cannot sit up on her own yet. Keeping hold of her and washing hair etc was getting very tricky. This bath seat has been a fantastic purchase. I can't believe we didn't think of getting one for our older daughter. The design is simple, but solid and safe. The suckers underneath stick well to the bottom of the bath and are very secure, even more so with the weight of the baby in it. It makes washing your baby's hair a lot easier as it frees up both your hands, and I find that this is much easier on my back because I no longer have to lean right over to wash her.My daughter was not previously a big fan of the bath, but she loves it now. She is upright, able to look around her and completely supported. She really enjoys being able to play with toys in the bath and seems to find the chair comfortable. There are no sharp edges and plenty of room for movement. Really glad we bought this as it has transformed bathtimes from a chore into fun!

This bath seat is brilliant. My daughter is 6 months and has only just started sitting up she holds herself well in the sit and the bottom has got a rougher surfactant to help with the slipping. She does slightly slip but more because she kicks her legs around all the time. The seat sticks extremely well to the bath and doesn’t move unless you really force it. There is plenty of room for her to grow in it and I would definitely say this will do her until she is old enough to sit in the bath herself. It’s so easy to clean and maintain. I know some reviews say it holds water in the bottom which has created mould but nothing is maintenance free you simple just need to un pop it after use and tip it on its side so the water can drain, takes two seconds. Another great aspect to this seat is that is swivels making getting her in and out the bath so much easier, no streaching and straining your back. The price of this seat is great for what it does, no need to spend loads of money.

I absolutely love this product. Our little girl used to hate bath time and cry when we put her in, within one day of using this she was laughing when we put her in and crying when we took her out!I saw another review someone had cut and pasted about this seat, indicating it was dangerous and would tip up. I can't personally see how this is possible but obviously i bore this in mind when I bought it and always give it a good push and pull to check it won't come free. We have used this from the age of four months, when our baby was fighting to sit up all the time and would have a paddy if we tried to out her in the recliner type seat we'd bought her originally. We are still using it now at 7 months. The suckers stick well to the bath (although it will slide from side to side) but there are little tabs on each to release the grip quickly should you require. Made our life much easier and as this colour was at a discounted price compared to the other options it was a bargain!

I have bought this item to use with my 8 month old. Up until now we’ve always lay her down in the bath on her back (on a foam support), this worked really well until we’ve reached the ‘get up and go’ phase. She’s much happier and safer sitting up in this at this age rather than lying down. It sticks down well and I have no concerns about using it, little one likes messing about with the ball toy at the front which also helps distract her! She loves being able to kick her legs in the water, she couldn’t do this on the old support we used! I’d read some reviews mentioned the auction pads going black and mouldy so I’ve used some kitchen towel and when she’s finished her bath I’ve removed the seat and dried these off which should prevent it.It’s really useful and I’d recommend, obviously you need to ensure you follow guidelines (and general common sense), don’t ever leave a Baby unattended, this item is to help you, not replace you. Wish I’d bought this sooner to be honest!

I got this because my baby loves her bath time but I always ended up feeling mean about cutting her playtime short as my back wasn't up to leaning over for long periods of time, braced to catch her as she raucously splashed about. This has been a treat for us both! A bright, happy colour, it caught my baby girl's eye immediately and she had no qualms about being settled into it for the very first time. Immediately I noticed a difference - I was able to quickly wash her hair without fuss before sitting upright and letting my baby splash to her hearts content... I was even able to pop my three year old in the bath with her knowing that I would be able to wash her hair too since I had my hands free and the girls absolutely loved having the opportunity to play in the bubbles together...although they enjoyed their splashabout so much my next investment may need to be a new floor mat and a raincoat for myself! Really love this product and can't fault it! :)

This seat works well. My baby is just six months old and she fills it out really nicely so there isn't much room for her to fall through the opening, which makes it pretty safe. Obviously, you should never leave a baby unattended ever, but this gives an added safety measure. Because the baby sits upright in this seat, it is a little harder to wash the folds of the baby's skin as you can't spread her out as easily as you can in a lie-back seat. I bought this seat because my baby is afraid of the water and I thought sitting up would help her. It has to some degree and I am happy with the product. I've used it once and didn't notice any redness on my baby's legs, but as the legs hang off the side,I suppose if you were to leave her there a long time she might develop redness from the pressure against the edge of the seat. But it isn't necessary to give a baby such a long bath and I only leave mine in there for a few minutes.

Please please don't buy this product I would hate any parent to go through what I have just been through. Was in the bath with my daughter. We have a play then I always step out first and get her Immediately. I attempted to pick her up and couldn't I stayed calm and with all my force ripped the chair of its suction cups. My daughter under the water had moved one leg into the other leg hole and she was well and truly stuck I tried to free her but there was no joy i thought in my panic I'm going to have to get her cut out. I tipped her upside down and gave it one last try before I called 999 by this time she was getting upset and started to cry thank god I finally freed her I gave her a full check over to ensure she was ok.This was frightening for both of us . I have just slung the vile chair in the bin. If this helps any of you to not buy this product I will be very happy. Please please font buy it. Keep safe xx

Been using this a while now and its fantastic. My baby is a wriggle pot and small still so she can slip down abit. I never turn my back EVERTook her a while to get used to it she did get red marks like some of the reviews you see on here,,but once she was used to being in the seat there hasn't been any more red marks.Sticks down securely I'm well impressed. I stick it to wall aside the bath to drain excess water out afterwards.Cleaning is easy the bottom part clicks off so you can give it a good wash down with disinfectant. My baby tends to lean over the side as the ball gets in her way whilst reaching for toys but as she gets bigger I'm sure she'll be fine. Her bum can slide through the sides when she does this hence why I never leave her.It basically frees up my hands to wash her and play with toys with her, it's made bath time a breeze and so much fun thank you.Delivery was fast and packaged up securely

This is a great little bath seat for babies who have outgrown the "lie back" bath supports but cannot yet sit unsupported. It keeps your baby upright and safe whilst allowing them to splash and play with toys whilst you can get at most bits to clean them down. I've never had a problem with the suction cups losing grip on the bath and although, as other reviewers have said, my baby also tends to slide forward on the seat. Sometimes I've placed a flannel on the seat for him to sit on, which helps stop him slipping for a while, but after a few wriggles this slides out from under him anyway. As a dad I wince at seeing his "bits" squashed against the pommel but it never bothers him and I don't expect he'll be using this seat when he's a teenager, when I'm sure it would be painful!Overall, this is a great little bath seat. It's such great value that I bought a second one to use at Grandma's.
