I have given this a one star to draw attention to a serious problem I have with this product.The product itself is well made and feels solid and durable. I really don't see how they justify £110.00 for these products. (And this is one of the cheeper ones!). Basically you are paying £100.00 for four bits of pressed aluminium with a few holes drilled in them. But I looked into buying it separately or making it yourself and it would work out more expensive and if you read further a lot more trouble. The way I look at it is if its surrounding a £120 flip cam its not worth it. But if your putting it around a £4,000 worth of Nikon SLR then its more than worth it.Now the bad news.The one I received came with the wrong bolts. The handle and rod system are attache by 1/4 bolts. The ones for the handle work fine but the ones I got for the rods are to short. This means that either they have mistakenly put in two sets of the handle bolts or, not countersunk the drill holes far enough.To make it worse the rods attach through the bottom plate where the camera sits so they have to be the exact length. The tolerance is so fine just the thickness of the aluminium cage to play with, That even if you do screw it in, I'm not sure if it will stay on, as aluminium is a soft metal and I can se it becoming threaded.Because this is supplied Amazon I could not contact the supplier directly and simply get them to send me the correct bolts. (A practice I think Amazon should address and have a way of contacting them as you can with the private sellers) Their only solution was to offer a full refund or a discount. Fair enough as I needed to use the cage immediately I went for the latter, thinking I could just get some correct size bolts. Unfortunately I cant find this type of bolt anywhere let alone the correct size! There are many bolts I could try but they tend to be on average £5 a packet! (you would think that considering this size thread is on practically very camera/video on the market the threads would be in abundance and clearly marked Camera size thread somewhere in the decryption!If Walimex are reading this please could you contact me through Amazon to discuss replacements. Or just tell me where I can purchase these type of bolts. Also check that all there items are not being shipped this way.Then I could give this a much higher rating as I am satisfied with the cage and its build and want to expand on it. But I am very dubious about buying any more Walimex products.

Probably the worst manufacturing quality i have ever seen - all of the threads needed re-tapping, bolt snapped, just a mess.I should have heeded the other review - DO NOT BUY !
