Villeroy & Boch packaging is non-existent. Two of these both arrived, with external packaging fine and the internal item smashed.We never got to the point of trying this item, so cannot comment on its perfomance but looks very similar to our old Pampered Chef Large Round Stone - which lasted years and came in a protective box.

I have ordered two of these plates & both have arrived broken.
