Loose fit of camera attachment into the tripod shoe and general slackness and flexibility in the head, especially the portrait/landscape hinge, makes the camera (or in my case telescope) very prone to wobble in anything other than light winds and on vibration-free surfaces. Nowhere near as stable as my 25 year old Velbon tripod.
