First set of closed headphones after using Grado and AKG open back for many years. Finally my wife got sick of listening to my music and told me to get a pair...of closed back headphones, so took a risk on a brand I hadn't heard of or heard before. I read reviews about ridiculous lengths of burn in time but straight out of the box they sound fantastic. Build quality is great - they feel solid, but are extremely comfortable to wear. I use a Lehmann Audio Linear headphone amp listening mainly early 70s rock and metal (vinyl predominantly) but with forays into just about any other genre of music. They give fantastic separation without any hint of boomy overblown bass that I normally associate with closed back.

I have never owned a good set of headphones and selected these on budgets and review feedback. I just unboxed them, and they sound great to me on my iPad, will test them on the hifi next. The finish and comfort are great. I haven't got a dedicated headphone amp on the hifi yet so maybe that will be next!
