Personally I like this bag. If you like to have one big space to stuff everything in one place then this bag might not be the one for you however I quite liked the idea of 3 sections to keep everything seperate. The section at the back allows for laptop or tablet/iPad. This has a slightly thicker reinforced back protection. The middle compartment is ideal for stuffing different bits and bob's. Personally I threw in my daughters nappies, wipes, blanket and her 2 jumpers. Still had enough room (I'd say) for a few other smaller items. The front section is ideal for pens and diary or smaller things required for easy access ie passports etc. The bag fits over the shoulder and fastens overr chest well.

I was choosing to downsize from the osprey farpoint 40, this bag seemed like a good choice at roughly 30LSize wise it has been ideal for my travels over the last few months and I've found the organisation of the bag is nearly ideal. the straps on the front of the bag have been good for sliding my flipflops and wet towel into.I would say the bag is heavier than it needs to be given it isnt even waterproof, and the shoulder straps are a little too stiff for my liking.Design wise, the rounded bottom and the restrictive opening to half way down the bag make it a little awkward when packing/unpacking, but once packed it does feel very secure.

I've never previously had a good daypack so I didn't have very high expectations of this when I ordered it but I was very pleasantly surprised.The bag feels very high quality with plenty of padding for my back and on this inside it has a smooth cloth-like finish for the laptop compartment.I have been using it daily for the past 6 months and it hasn't let me down once. It has a great amount of space and I now carry much more on me everywhere than I did previously.The chest and hip straps are great if you need to carry something heavier, it helps to take the strain off your shoulders and upper back.I don't think you can find anything better for this price.

Update to orignal Recon after that wore out through a decade of abuse.Rear mesh pocket is useful, side pockets are useful. FIts loads of stuff, and the updates to the pockets re really useful too.Laptop compartment easily fits an XPS15. Can take it anywhere, and easily enough space to fit a good week's worth of shopping if you cycle to Waitrose.Built quality is fantastic. Size is great for a hulking wide 6ft human. Really comfortable. Price is fantastic for 60GBP.

Great bag. Loads of pockets perfectly suited for their purpose.Ever so slightly smaller than expected and rounded bottom is actually quite annoying. Overall a very robust and good looking bag. I would buy it again.Very robust materials.

really pleased with this purchase as the backpack is amazing. soo many things fit inside, perfect for weekend trips or going to the gym. seeing the build quality i'm sure it will last me a very long time.

Use this every day when commuting to work. Super comfortable for walking, great protecting for my Macbook and ample space for all my daily needs including thermos mugs with coffee to last me the day.

Love the bag very good for work and every day but didn't look like the pictures the organiser pocket was small and not large like it shut be like the one the you get on the borealis

Absolutely amazing fits everything that you would need and more for college, university and or work. I would fully reccomend for people who want a versatile backpack.

Near perfect'urban/commuter' ruck. Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Downside is, if its raining, it will take in alot of water relatively quick.

Good strong rucsack and well shaped.Challenging to get access to the bottom area of the bag. Also round bottom shape prevents the bag from standing upright.

Amazing backpack! Love this brand and the quality is excellent! The fleece lined pockets keep large screens safe!
