Terminator 3 :Rise of the Machines the movie has already extended the borders of the trilogy's universe more than we have known before ,it took the story in a completely new paths ,but in doing so the movie left some unanswered questions ,the fans of the series were racing to put theories to fill the gaps ,now the Terminator 3 The game has finally come to answer some of your questions .First of all this game as we all know isn't the first game based on the legendary series ,many games appeared on older consoles and it's not even the first PS2 game features the mighty terminator ,the first game(Dawn Of Fate)was absolutely mediocre experience ,and beside that none of the previous games have featured the character of Arnold Schwarzenegger completed with face's features and voice ,now all of that is included in this new game ,promising to give a thrilling experience for both the series' fans and the gamers ,also the game features all the characters from the movie with their voice and features ,And the motion capturing technology provided here gives a feel of amazing realism ,The game also features an extensive cut scenes and there are some cinematic scenes filmed especially for the game .The game itself is actually two games bundled in one ,The story follows the events of the movie very closely ,And a great feature here that the events is played according to the Terminator's (Arnie) point of view ,With the lovely red screen which scans the targets and collect primal and advanced information about them ,The game launches in a first person mode ,So you are guaranteed to blow up all the obstacles in front of you ,Ins some movie's scenes like the Cemetery Scene which is implemented in the game you will feel the thrill in destroying the police's vehicles but there are a very big different here ,Where in the movie we see Arnie insures that there are no human causalities in the battle ,In the game you will be given the option to make causalities or not ,depends on your respect for the human lives!Other sections of the game will turn into third person view ,That's in the section where you meet some enemies like the Female Terminator X ,In this you will have the ability for hand fighting ,This will be repeated in various parts of the game ,Every one of them with different purpose ,Also there will be different weapons to accompany you during the journey ,Ranging from the ordinary guns to more advanced futuristic weapons ,All at your service! As noted in this review's title there will be some questions which weren't answered in the movie and will be answered in the game ,Sort of interaction like the MATRIX game ,But here it's different because the game and the movie are not parallel ,They have the same story line but the game sheds the light on some dark spots in the series' world ,Including some questions about time travel which is a very vital element in the game because we see the terminator moves back and forth in the time's tunnels ,And that helps you to uncover the mysteries ,One final thing to note that the staff of the movie have been involved in some way or another with the game developer's to insure that the game is essential thing for the movie ,So it's guaranteed to give you the same look and feel of the movie and the series itself ,All of that promises a very huge adventure and enjoyable experience .

I think this game was a bit twisted, really. I mean, it's a little bit difficult, and you play in first-person view mode as T-101. But the graphics are so brilliant and the story was excellent. It starts in the future. John Connor is dead (those of you who remember "I killed you.") and Kate Brewster and the other members of Tech-Com have captured T-101 and are reprogramming him to their side. After that, T-101 escorts Brewster to the time displacement field, but come across many battle and fights, one of the fights including you killing the other T-101 that broke into the shelter on the first Terminator film and murdered all the humans (those of you who saw Sarah's dream about a Franco Columbu T-101 kiiling all the humans in the shelter with a ray-gun on Terminator 1),until at last you break into the Skynet lab and Brewster sending you 29 years back through time. Then, as T-101, you start at the Vet Surgery and find John in the cage, and the first fight between T-101 and T-X on the crane. Then the frolic in the cemetary where you escort John out and beat up the policemen (DON'T kill them) and destroy all the police cars. Then the flashback level based on the "I killed you" phrase, where you are back in the future, on Skynet's side, killing all the humans and trying to get to John to murder him. Then the next level outside CRS, where you have to find John and Kate at the plane, and the final level, the last fight against the T-X, defeat her and game is won. So sit back and watch the ending scene with Skynet attacking Earth and the nuclear bombs. Thus, the beginning of Judgment Day.To find out what happens next, complete this game and wait for the new game: Terminator 3: Redmption.

Well this game certainly gave me a shock. All i ever heard from friends about Terminator games was 'just don't touch them, they suck etc.' But i thought hey, let's just give it a try and see what it is like. To my utter amazement this game didn't fail to deliver. Its graphics are fantastic, its controls are simple and for the less experienced gamer; the game is quite easy on the easier settings. It has great variation in game play as you can complete missions through 1st person mode and you can fight with the T-X in a Tekken style side view.Naturally, being a big fan of games like this i was very pleased with its performance and game play. The downsides however are that the game is a little short and i believe they should have included an alternative game, such as being able to fight as the T-X instead of the Terminator. For the more experienced gamer the missions are a little easy, even on the hardest settings. On the positive side it has a great playable demo of Terminator 3: Redemption which looks really good and handles very well. All in all, if you are after a bit of Unreal mixed with the odd bit of Tekken, huge guns, mass destruction and seeing some parts of Terminator 3 you only hear about in the movie (such as John Connor getting iced in the future) then this game is well worth the money.

I have read other reviews of this game and they were all pretty poor. This is rubbish, as once i had started the game i was hooked. To begin with i found the control quite fiddlely and hard to use, however as i progressed into the game i soon got used to them. The graphics were fair during gameplay but when the mission sequences are showing the likeness of Arnold and the T-X model were outstanding. Another brilliant feature is, as you get further into the game you unlock pictures and movies of the game and film itself. Some of the movies aren't even in the film and have been made exclusively for the game. One thing i did find was as i was really into the game i found i had completed it.So a tip for all you gamers is, when you get the big guns, use the bid guns!!! Overall im glad i bought the game and it has extended the Terminator experience for me. I fully recommend that you go out and but this game!!!!!

Terminator 3:Rise of the Machines has to be the best Terminator game ever made. It has brilliant graphics which are constantly seen through out the entire game. It is a realistic type of game and Arnold Schwarzenneger plays the role of the good Terminator where you must destroy the machines. The TX which is the evil Terminator is nearly impossible to beat through out the game as you are a T-850 and the TX is a combined terminator from the last 2 films. Making Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, the most realistic game taken from a movie with added extras which you didn't see in the movie. This game can provide hours of entertainment for any type of gamer who enjoys the Terminator series.

Ever wanted to actually control a Terminator well now you can! Either protecting John Connor or destroying him it's all up too you. Be the T-850 (Arnold Schwarzenneger) and fight the Terminators or be the TX and fight the humans. With astounding graphics and a huge array of weapons this game will suit any action nut. You can even you the Terminators scanner saying if the enemy is hostile, what the enemy is, the gun you have equipped, a list of all your other weapons and a listing of the amount of bullets you have!!! This game isn't just guns though, you can go fist to fist with a huge list of gruelling hand to hand attacks. This game will suit most game lovers!!

THIS GAME IS REALLY REALLY GOOD,BUT I WOULD HAVE HAD SECOND TOUGHTS BUYING IT IF I DID NOT GET IT FOR CHRISMAS. 1.GRAPHICS ARE NOT THAT GOOD 2.ANNOYING FIRST PERSON MODE. 3.HALF OF IT IS TRYING TO GET TO THE PAST AND THE "ADVANCED" T-900 ARE EASY TO KILL(I THOUGHT I WAS T-101?)EASY GAMEIF IT WAS HARDER AND LONGER I WOULD GIVE IT 5 STARS,BUT REMEMBER,T3 REDEMTION IS OUT IN 2004!
