I loved this game, ive only ever bin on one tenchu game, and i loved that too, but it was slightly boring because it required to much time to be spent in the same level, whereas this one, being for the psp, makes use of the idea of portable gameing, something that most games for the psp dont do, and this makes the levels short and sweet and leaves you wanting more, there are some flaws, that many people cant get over, being the psp it doesnt have two analog sticks causeing no free movement of the camera, but what i dont get is that all you have to do is press one shoulder button and that centers it behind the character, for some reason i think this freaks people out, but trust me its no problem, there was however the annoyance f not being able to see 5 meteres ahead of you, this is annoying but when you play one level you get over it, and its not even that bad, dont believe the game site review this is a great game, with the bonus of making your own levels makes it even better, i dont really think youll get bored of this game very soon, theres like 40 levels and when you complete it you can replay them with anyone so it adds more replayability.Trust me on this one its great.

Great game. Looks just like the PS2 versions with just a few minor faults.First up, the draw distance is very small. In other words you can, on ocasins, run down a street and not be aware of an enemy until you are within range for him to hear you coming, which can be a real pain in the bum.The other main quibble, and the biggy, is the camera. On the PS2 you have 2 analogue stick, one to move your character and the otheer to manipulate the camera. As the PSP has only 1 analogue stick this is not a viable function.Due to this you are reduced to either using the 1st-person view2 (hold both shoulder buttons together) or pressing down+left/right to turn ont he spot and look around. This really reduces your viewing capabilities in game and results in major issues in game.Apart from this the game is very good fun. There are 5 characters in total to play as including the good old Rikimaru and Ayame (one is hidden to begin with). So a good long game with 50 missions in total and a mission/map designer to allow you to make your own maps and tasks then share them on the network :)

After Fatal Shadows being one of my favourite games I bought a Nintendo DS and Dark Shadows, after spending 30 minutes on Dark Shadows I was very disappointed, it is boring and rubbish, the format style isnt the same as the rest of the series. Anyway, I learnt about Time Of The Assasins, and exchanged my Nintendo DS for a PSP and bought TOFA. I was very happy to learn it carries on where fatal shadows left off, and was also very happy to be able to play as Rin again. I love this game, and once you get used to dealing with the camera angles, and attacking enemies out of the dark, the game is very fun. I've read about people complaining about the darkness, but you do get used to it,and you can use the radar in the corner to find your enemies. Love it.
