Tatsunoko Vs Capcom is an Awesome over the top, underrated fighting game for nintendo Wii, it's colorful, balanced and fun.The game has got several characters from the capcom series and others from tatsunoko's anime series, some characters may be only recognized by anime fans but others are well known, like Ken the Eagle and Karas. More "obscure" characters from tatsunoko include Gold Lightan, Neo-Human Cashern, Ippatsuman among others. The game plays similar to Marvel Vs Capcom, each player chooses two characters for 2 on 2 fights. Characters can tag in and out in the middle of the fights or even attack at the same time for assists, combos and specials.Capcom was able to develop a decent ranked online mode for the game, but searching for opoenents and time between fights were long and painful. Maybe if the game had a bigger online community these problems were solved but they do exist. There is a friends list and a Rival's list, when you fight someone you are then able to ask him if you can add him to your rival's list to check if he is online.Overall I found the game very balanced and very very fun, most "Hardcore" fun I had on Wii for months(if nor years). It's a game my usual friends(who love Wii sports, Singstar and buzz and not much more)that come over enjoy, but it's the kind of game that old-school gamer friends(mega drive Aka Genesis and Snes original players) enjoy playing and it's the kind of game that starts as "What should we play? I Guess tatsunoko vs capcom while we think of something better." and ends on a tournament and a fun evening playing the game and trying to come out on top or winning that rematch that would redeem you of your previous humiliating defeat.

I'm simply amazed. This game is unbeleavably awsome and addictive fun! If you played any games of the Capcom VS series before, then this pretty much the best in the series. The fighting system is absoloutly fantastic and will keep you hooked for a long time. There are 5 methods of control. Wii Remote on it's own, Wii Remote and Nunchuck, Classic Controller, Gamecube Controller, and the Tatsunoko VS Capcom Arcade Stick. Casual games will be able to pick up and play with no complications, and it works great. For those hardcore players who wanna get really in depth with the fighting system, Classic, Gamecube and Arcade Stick controller is best for them, and they also work great. The games's online mode is the best I ever experanced for a Wii fighting game. Online is really smooth, and will be depending on your Internet connection if you experance lag or not. From my experance, the online is really really smooth, and only twice out of many matches I got very small lag, but it never ruined the experance. This game was planned as a Japan exclusive, but thanks to all the fans out there, this game got the english release, and with new features not present in the Japanese version. Even if you don't know the Tatsunoko characters, it won't matter at all. This is one of the best games on the Wii yet. A must own for any Wii gamer or fighting fan. It's simply amazing. 10/10

I saw a review on this game and knew I was going to get it. Was it worth it? Yes. Yes. Yes. Armed with a Nintendo Classic Controller (Black) that clips into the back of the Wii mote I went to battle...I was momentarily put off by the cartoon style graphics - but this game soon grabbed me. Its buckets of fun! I like its tacky sense of humour and way over the top special moves. Its a rockin' bash'em up and the power moves aren't too difficult to get either. You can roll-out those crazy combos one after another. The fighters are a bizarre mix of odd balls but suit the games off the wall attitude. I keep going back for more. I unlocked 'Frank West' from 'Dead Rising' - last seen in a Mall - great moment. This game bursts with energy and colour, you can enjoy it by just dipping in or by going deeper and utilising its more advanced features. The fights/movements are fast and fluid, if a little dis-orientating at first, but with practise you can really rumble.Young and older gamers will like this. Watch out for the last Boss (Yami), he's three bad balls of fury. Block his super attacks then strike him. Unlock the arcade shooter mini-game by beating the game with the fighter 'Roll'; makes collecting those elusive letters easier. To finish all I have to say is: next time my brother comes round I will Wii-kick his backside with manic mayhem moves. OUT.

This is by far the best fighting game on the Wii, no questions asked. Capcom made a fantastic job with this game and is over-the-top fun at its very best. Stop playing your minigame compilations and pop this in your Wii, you will surely not be dissapointed. If you have played the Vs. Capcom games before, this game feels very fimilar, but different thanks to the introduction of new gameplay features like the Baroque combo and the Mega Crash that adds that hardcore level to the game.My only complaint is its lack of appeal to English audiences. Many people will barely recognise any of the characters on the Tatsunoko side because of the animation studio being little-known outside Japan, where they are an anime giant. I also cant say the game is better than Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 though, that just has so many more characters and better balanced gameplay.Overlook Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom's obscurity and pick yourself up a definate classic for the Wii!

I pre-ordered this game a few months ago and I can tell you that I am not disappointed. It's one of the Wii's secret weapons. The game has amazing gameplay it's the best fighting game on the Wii, yes its not Marvel vs. Capcom 2 as some fans have proclaimed but , to be honest this game has grown on me more then that dated game.Online mode is superb, the only problem I have with it is that firstly it doesn't count a win in battle straight away as soon as you defeat your opponent and secondly if connection is lost or your opponent turns his Wii off it ruins your own overall score. One more thing that I must say is the graphics are amazing, some people are saying it will benefit more on PS3 or Xbox, that is not true. Not only was this game optimised for the wii but the only thing that will benefit this game graphically if it came to ps3 or Xbox is HD. Take for instance Street fighter 4 which looks very similar to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

I've always been a fan of the Street Fighter series. Capcom are definitely the best at producing well crafted, fun and challenging fighting games. The Wii is unfortunately starved of this genre and Street Fighter 4 made it on the HD machines only. What a great exclusivity this is then! Spectacular visuals, simple, sharp controls and varied array of original characters. Even though barely known I personally love the Tatsunoko characters. A few of them manage to bring back some very old memories! The game is also a great example of Japanese humour and eccentricity that made me a video game fan in the first place! The game is most enjoyable with the Hori Fighting Stick for the Wii.Don't hesitate to invest in one. It's great value and can be used with a large selection of fighting games available on the Wii Virtual Console. All in all worth much more than its cheap price!

I've been playing Tatsunoko vs Capcom for about a month, and I reckon it's easily the best fighter on the wii.I know Super Smash Bros Brawl is hugely popular, but I for one was disappointed with it, realising it's main selling point is it's huge character roster. You may not know many of the characters in Tatsunoko vs Capcom, but after playing for a short while you'll soon connect with them and get onto the moves which are all in the Street Fighter 2 style and also has the Street Fighter Alpha type super moves.I've been using a Gamecube controller which has been really easy to pull off most of the moves, old style. There is also a simple control method with the remote/nunchuck,which makes it easy for beginners.Great game, get while it's cheap- you wont be disappointed!

I found this fighter to be the most fun after "marvel super heroes vs street fighter" and "marvel vs capcom". I think its more spiritful than street fighter 4, which i own and although im a fanatic of street fighter didn't impressed me. Tatsunoko brings a fresh japan air in the vs series. Despite the fact im from Greece and tatsunoko fighters are not famous here i liked them very much. Also i prefer cel-shaded graphics from 3d street fighter 4. I see also a lot of videos from marvel vs capcom 3 and i can not say im impressed from the graphics. It seem to me like choppy soldiers when i see the movement of many characters. Anyway have fun with tatsunok and i hope capcom bring a second TvsC.

Ordered this as a great fan of Street Fighter and wanted something similar for the Wii. This game has some SF characters (2!) and countless others from the two companies. The game is simple to play with a few different options. Easy enough to get used to characters special moves, but has a tendancy to become a bit too easy to get through levels when you've got used to your characters moves. Also, when playing against another person, if you fail to match up your characters well enough, you can get absolutely trounced as characters haven't necessarily been designed with "equal" powers.Still, regardless of niggles, it's a good old fashioned fighting game well adapted for the Wii.

Pre-ordered this and I'm glad I did. It's amazing, a crazy tag team fighting game, with two control types one for the game cube and classic pad like any street fighter game. And a crazy wii control setup (like smash brothers brawl) that works for people who can't do spinning piledrivers. The game lets you do crazy streetfighter style combos as a tag team and has some of the craziest special moves I've seen in a game like this including firing big lasers and emptying bigger buckets of water. It's all ridiculously easy to do with the simplified controls as well, too easy, when compared to the gamecube setup. It has online fighting as well as two player. And it has giant robots!

You Simply Must get this Game:if you love the 'Vs' series of capcom Games (Marvel Vs Capcom 2) you will love this. The Wii has only a select few Retail Fighters (Not counting VC Titles)This is deffinitley the best of the Lot.it's Simple to learn but will take ages to master all the intricate attack,Combo's and the new systems like Baroque and Air Raid Combo'sUnlockable Characters and a great Unlockable Mini GameIn Game Shops to buy Items Extra Character Colours etcThe Biggest Plus is the Online Mode, which is great and extends the re-play value of the game.don't let the unfamiliar characters put you off, this game is great....BUY IT !!!

I'm a big big fan of Capcom and in particular it's library of beat em ups.So great to see a hardcore 2D fighter for the Wii console.Im guessing that due to the obscurity of Tatsunoko ( better known in Japan than here,I do remember G Force as a kid though ) that this wouldn't of sold too many copies here. Its an injustice if it didn't sell. Its got depth,a diverse yet balanced stable of fighters, typically outlandish and visually stunning super moves and it really is a joy to play and learn.

2.2.2010

Quite simply put this is the best fighter on the Wii (yes, including Smash Bros) and is just as good as the brilliant Street Fighter IV currently available on 360 and PS3. If you grew up with the World Warriors like myself you will feel right at home here even if the Tatsunoko charachters are unfamiliar to you. However if you are new to the series, or new to fighting games in general the simple control system will ease you into the action.A must buy if you own a Wii.

the best game on Wii but needs to come on Xbox 360 and ps3 the graphics' are ok for Wii but i needs to be on ps3 &360 its 10s better than super smash bros brawl is not as Marvel vs Capcom 2 but i still love the game. Recommend to any fan of fighting games you need to play it with a Wii classic controller or fight stick not the Wii remote.capcom hand up to you made a really good game on the Wii its even better than street fighter 4.

I loved this game, it was a lot of good fun and not too gruesome so I would say its ok for the older kids. I think this is probably the best fighting game on the wii that I have played so far. I loved the graphics and game play. It kind of reminded me of streetfighter. I did find it a tad bit easy tho and completed it on the first day. If they added more levels and more characters to unlock it would be fantastic.
