This is a white light, a bit weird for the living room but I use the 'big light' for when I'm sewing ( or hoovering). It's nice and bright, so 40w is plenty. It has a fast start up and does not make a noise. It claims a 12 year lifespan allowing for 2.7 hrs per day. it is replacing one that lasted 4 years. Ignore the green parts in my photo.

It was just perfect! recieved the product before the expected delivery date, in perfect condition. And there were no issues with the size or it wasn't faulty at all. I would reccommend this product to anyone who is looking for the ''Daylight'' color.

Lovely light colour, but went wrong after a few months, however upon contacting the seller C P Lighting sent out a new replacement unit next day which I would class as Excellent Customer Service by Dan. Thank you.

Brilliant colour and arrived a day earlier then planned. Wrapped perfectly with no damage to the bulb , a great buy and great value, will be ordering 2 more as spares soon

Decent specs for a tenner including postage. I have it paired with an Osram (same company as Sylvania) QTP-M 1X26-42 electronic ballast.
