Really decent controller for the price, I was pleasantly surprised. I like that the layout is similar to PlayStation controllers, the gyro controls and vibration work very well. I’d seen that the controller needed updating, but I bought the 80s style one and it didn’t need updating to work. I have 4 stars as there are only a couple of minor cons; the vibration is not as strong as a pro controller, but that doesn’t really matter too much. It feels a bit cheaper than the pro controller (which was expected for the price) and the ZR/ZL buttons feel a bit odd, it’s hard to tell if you’ve pressed them in properly. You can’t start up the console with this controller as you have to pair it in the controllers section on the home screen every time you want to use it,

These are good! They are not great, they will not replace a pro controller. These are also really cheap. I got 2 for half the price of a pro controller. However. I have spent many a Mario Kart night with these controllers and not one person has complained or wanted another controller. I am lucky I guess. I have 2 of them and they worked right out of the box. The company must have updated the firmware.Downs:No Amibo supportNo Gyro controlsNo Waking the system up from sleepPros:Great feeling controller!No lag when playing!Battery life is fairly decent! I am sure I logged 5 hours once!Comes with charging cable!Nobody moans when having these controllers, that speaks volumes!You want a Mario Kart evening with a decent controller?

After the switch update 5.0.0 the pad did stop working as others mentioned. However I emailed the company and they do have a an update for the controller that will get it working again. So ignore those other reviews.The pad its self is responsive the buttons and analogue feels fine. For the price and what else is available out there it's a solid pad. The D pad isn't the best and it feels plasticy and cheap but you should expect that when it's so cheap to buy anyway.Prefect for 2/3 player games when the standard switch controls aren't enough.

It worked really well with my Nintendo Switch. Then Nintendo updated their operating system to 5.0.0 and now it does not work. could not get any customer support from Subsonic and am waiting to hear from Nintendo. so now I have ordered a Nintendo's own pro controller which has cost me more. I give this product 10/10 but 0/10 for customer support.

Worked ok until the switch update - paired ok and never got to use it as first chance with the new update and switch threw codes - If any one knows how to update the firmware for the controller it would be very much appreciated . Update now on the supplier website for Nintendo switch - works fine and would recommend

Nice controller retro feel but after few months it grew a mind of its own as characters are moving even when nobody is touching it so assume it needs updating otherwise only lasted a few months not used it much either plus it’s wireless too and isn’t too expensive

Absolutely great, works brilliantly, high quality plastic, feels great in the hands, good responsive buttons and actual vibration, only complaint is it can get too much vibration in games that have little vibration, suck as Rocket League

Super easy to connect and start using immediately. Charging cable included and plugs right into your dock (the USB ports on the side). The official controllers are so expensive it's ridiculous. This is the perfect cheap alternative.

Works fine with switch 5.0 update. Just google pro5controller on a pc and there is an update that takes all of 10 seconds. Much easier for me to use these than the tiny switch controllers.

Once you have done the update it works great.Link comes in the box and involves plugging the controller into a laptop/pc.software update is very simple and then it works

If your buying a wireless remote for the switch I would definitely recommended this! For the price it’s less than half every other wireless remote brilliant!!

E-mailed subsonic and had a response to fix the controller with an easy update via a computer. Great service and great product. Buy these all the time.

Great alternative to the official but dead expensive Nintendo controller. Easy setup and good battery life. Highly recommended.

Works with the switch which I bought it for. Smaller than most controllers, but makes sense with it being for that console.

just one thing wrong the letters on the buttons wear of quick.had mine a week letters disappeared of buttons
