Very good wireless headset. I have had the Astro A50 and charging them can be hugely annoying as you have to put he headset in its charging cradle exactly right or the next time you put them on they will be dead to the world.I much prefer the SteelSeries 7. However, like the Astro A50 that has a volume dial on its ear piece. Whereas the SteelSeries 7 has two dials, one on each ear piece: one for volume and the other for prioritising incoming speech or gaming noise. The annoying bit is that both dials can brush against your collar and adjust them, (just when you don't want it to happen).Otherwise, a very good headset. The more you get these for under £50 your on a winner.

Great set of headphones, nice and easy to pair with the base unit it comes with, I have not had a single sound drop out using their wireless connection.The sound is great, in games you can clearly hear where the footsteps are coming from and so can react to this.I tried this headset with my DJ mixer but this headset is a little too big for DJing with, as you need to be able to wear the headset on one ear while the other is free, this is a little awkward with this set.A+ for the set though

The headphones are extremely comfortable and fine for extended gaming sessions. Battery life is good and the sound quality is some of the best. Firmware updates and customisation is done through a pc programme but once connected to pc or ps4 the wireless connection hasn't faulted. Using these on a mobile requires the included cable, and it's a pity there isn't a height adjustable option. Overall very good stylish pair of headphones with customisable options including interchangeable headbands.

Glad I waited for these to go on offer because they’re quite expensive! Are they worth it? Yes but they meet even better expectations when you feel like you got the best price. My brother and father have had these for 2 years and they’ve not broken nor have I heard any complaints; just how comfy they are! After turtle beach headphones constantly squeezing my head to complete numbness and breaking even when just looking at them it was definitely the upgrade I needed! Definitely would recommend.

I’ve used these on the PS4 (FIFA & COD) & the sound quality is spot on! You can hear things you normally wouldn’t through the TV, making the whole gaming experience much better. As soon as you open the box you can tell it’s a quality product. Set up was easy & connectivity is great. Only negative (which is very minor) is that I have to disconnect the USB & reconnect when switching on the console for it to recognise the sender unit. When fitted they are very comfortable & can be worn for hours!

This headset had literally changed my gaming experience. Playing games on xbox with friends is now so much better with this headset. The quality is very clear from both the game audio and my friends voices. They say my Mic is very good too. The audio is amazing with a very good sense of surround sound. It can be used wirelessly with the included adapter too. The headset is very stylish and above all it is incredibly comfortable even after hours of continuous use. Highly recommend.

USED FOR GAMING ON PS4Build quality is awesome, very comfy too even with my glasses.YES, 7.1 SOUND DOES WORK ON PS4 but you'll need to enable it via a PC or MAC.Connected straight out of the box and can be used without setting up extra options via the app but well worth having a play as I found I could improve the in-game sound greatly. Remember, these are wifi not blue tooth.I bought from Argos knowing I could easily return to store if I didn't like them, I love them and very happy.

SteelSeries is always a safe bet when you're looking for a high quality headset, and this is by far the best available wireless headset. The connectivity is simple and with a good range, the sound quality is top class and the headset overall is extremely comfortable to wear, almost as if it were to be floating on your head.Highly recommended for dedicated PC gamers, this is the most comfortable headset I've ever had - and wearing it for hours on end causes no discomfort whatsoever.

- Looks amazing - Feels amazing Audio is a big step up from my previous £60 headset, we’ll worth the price As I said I game on PS4 mainly at the moment, amazing EQ customisations on the PC SteelSeries software that can be saved onto the headset for PS4 and PC use.No 7.1 on console and only available on PC but honestly I’ve used 7.1 and it really isn’t necessary as the sound clarity is amazing. (When used through wireless USB adapter) drops slightly through audio Jack.

I've always thought that cheaper gaming headsets work just fine and would be all that I'd ever need. That is until I tried the Arctis 7 headset. I couldn't believe the difference in quality. It is quite literally like having a concert in your ears. The audio quality is so high that I have been using this headset as my main headphones. It's easy to connect the Arctis 7 to any phone, console or device that is Bluetooth enabled. They honestly couldn't be any easier to use!

Bought these to replace my old set and they don't disappoint. They're comfortable even on a smallish head, and the material is a lot more pleasant than fake leather. Cutting out doesn't seem to be an issue, it stays connected through walls and ceilings up to a fair distance, and doesn't lag while gaming.The only downside is glasses can dig into the head a little as they don't have a groove for them. Overall, it seems pretty good compared to similar sets I've seen.

Great headset, pretty comfy but could have a better way to adjust for better comfort as I find using it for long periods can get a bit uncomfortable. Amazing for playing games with, the sound picks up on things usually missed but not so good when listening to music as the volume control doesn't go high enough. Also the mic is good but takes a lot of adjusting so I don't sound quiet to other and then don't hear feed back from there Voices.

These headphones are packed with features, have a long battery life and work well with my PS4. However, the connectivity is not a a good as I thought it would be (for example to connect to a phone for music, you need to plus the phone into the wireless receiver, which is a bit disappointing as I was expecting the solution to be totally wireless). If used just for gaming, I can’t fault them

This isn't the cheapest headset on the market (nor the most expensive either), but I'm glad I invested.It's by far the comfiest set of cans I've worn, and the freedom provided by having a wireless set of headphones is amazing. Sound is excellent, Battlefield 5 explosions are crystal clear and gameplay is very immersive.Click and collect from Argos was a breeze.

I bought these to replace some aging turtle beach’s and after reading reviews of similar priced units from competitors , I chose Steel Series. I’ve had steel series befor and always been happy. These didn’t disappoint either, amazing sound and set up in minutes, quick firmware upgrade and you’re off. Very clear mic and crystal sound with nice bass. Highly recommend
