Overall the headset is great and I like the sound quality better than my hyper x cloud. There are a lot of options to tweak the sound settings to get it how you like but I find the surround sound is clearer which is great in fps games. The sound quality has a nice richness to it and makes listening to music very enjoyable. A nice deep base that doesn't drown out the rest of the sounds.Based on sound quality alone I'd recommend. The downsides, I wouldn't say I have a big head but my god this thing clamps down hard. One thing I hated about the hyper x was it felt so weird and loose on my head and now these ones are the complete opposite. I find that long gaming sessions are uncomfortable due to the way it sits on my ears and head.I did have a similar issue with some logitech headset in the past but overtime it got better so I'm hoping the same happens here. The mic is retractable into the headset, although you do have to have it quite close to your mouth when in use, but apparently the quality is pretty good.I like the dial that comes with it, it's not a volume dial but a mixer (not sure if that's the right word for it) it allows you to hear more of the game or more of the chat for example like discord. I find it really useful when playing games that require teamwork but also listening for audio clues. I use it all the time. It's a fantastic headset but a little uncomfortable for people with larger heads.Pros+ great sound quality+ lots of tweaks+ sound priority dialCons- uncomfortable out of the box- lighting options are a little on the scarce side- requires some work initially to get the sound how you like it

I was probably one of this first to purcahse this as my confirmation of sale came through 2 minutes of it got released on its debut date,Iam really happy with it. and its less complicated than the Astro A50 gen 3.. I did love my Astro A50 but i had to send it back as for the type of gaming i was doing i needed reasurance that i wasn't going to get any sound drop outs.. And i did have the original Gen1 A50's that lasted over three years.I heard loads of good things about steel series so yeah i went with these, even the software didnt get released(updated) when i bought these thats how new they were, And now I am hapy i made the right choice going wired and with Steel Series Arctis Pro...iam hoping that at some stage that the GameDac will be sold separately,as doing this will potentially get more people to buy this range and being able to upgrade, has gotta be a plus...Theres are helpful videos out there on YouTube on how to set this up with PC, PS4 and XBOLIX, and it only take a minute, a big thumbs up froma very happy costumer.... deffo worth a buy, sounds are crystal cups are very breathable no sweat at all , micraphone is very senstitve too :)

Definitely the best headphones for the price range, my old headphones the turtle beach z60s had a problem with the head band snapping in places from repetitive flexing. These headphones definitely dont have this problem.Pros:Sound qualityVersatilityBassRGB (if you like that sort of thing)Cons:PriceNot wirelessSo first of all i should start off by saying it comes with a piece of software for you to alter the sound to how you like it and set different profiles for music, games, movie watching etc. Ability to adjust mids, bass, dB and much more including the colour of the headphone's light. It can be set to scroll through set colours, every colour, fast or slow.Or as i have it just plain red to match my pc.The cons are pretty self explanatory; it could be cheaper. In a perfect world it would be, but we arent in a perfect world. And it could be wireless; they of course do offer a wireless version but if i didnt include that in my cons then i only would have had 1.

Comfortable for long sessions but admittedly took some getting used to (~2 days) after being used to Sennheiser headphones which are more comfortable.Build quality, as with other Steelseries products is top class. No damage after almost 2 years. I had a Logitech pair in a similar price range before that were falling to bits after a similar time (though had better sound quality).I'm a lover of the Steelseries software - great to be able to sync the lighting of these to your mouse, keyboard and mouse mat.Great sound quality on the mic. Nice ability to lower game volume/increase chat volume. For listening to music, the quality isn't great. A 20-30quid Sennheiser pair are better.

Bought these as an upgrade to the headphones I was using and the audio quality is great. The software engine for the audio is easy to use and allows you to set up several different profiles depending on what type of game you are playing, music you are listening to etc BUT..........for me the headphones were too uncomfortable to continue using. The ear pads themselves are very comfy but the way the set is molded, if you have a larger head, the bottom of the cups dig into your jaw bone by your ears. After 2/3 hours of streaming I had a jaw ache that no amount of adjusting could fix. It felt like my jaw was in a pincer. Shame as the audio was so good.

I bought this (Arctis Pro Wired) to replace my old Arctis 5 which my partner could use. They sound great, slightly better than the Arctis 5. They're also really comfy, the earpads feel a lot thicker on these and it feels like a higher build quality. The volume wheel on the headset protrudes more and feels nicer to use, haven't accidentally moved it with weeks of use.Only a few minor cons:- Still comes with the (in my opinion) useless volume dial on the cable- Mute for the mic on the headset is super easy to press without meaning to- Cable is slightly shorter

These are really good headphones. Having the ability to separate your chat sound from your game sounds, and adjust the balance of each with a small dial has been very useful. I have had some people come back to me saying my overall volume is lower, but the quality has been a lot clearer compared to my standing microphone. I got these on a massive sale discount, and if you ever see them with a deep discount, definitely good value for money.

Bought these for my son as he was excessively loud when gaming. He said the others gamers complained his sound was muffled on the razors. He is very happy with both headphone and mic sound now and is not as loud when gaming which means we get more sleep at night.

This is the best headset I’ve ever had. I previously had a razer tournament edition headset. However, this headset is miles better. The comfort is immaculate the rgb the sound quality everything on it is great. Highly Recommended!!

The sound on these headphones is amazing really good for gaming and playing music. Sound stage is pretty good and pinpointing enemies locations etc. Buy them! They're worth it.

I bought these after the mic failed on my cheap headset, the sound is incredible, i play a lot of PUBG and can now actually hear other players coming

28.5.2021

The headset is amazing for gamers but u need another external mic because the mic is not the worst but it can be compared to a £20 headset mic

10.12.2020

This headset is very comfortable and has great surround sound/bass. I can wear it for 12 hours+ a day and I have no aches or pains on my head.

22.2.2021

Very comfortable, sound quality was excellent and by downloading the app the sound was highly adjustable and clear. I would recommend them
