Beautiful object but make sure your gas hob rack will be able to support the kettle securely, as the footplate of the kettle is quite a small diameter. Ours is too wide, which meant the kettle wobbled, which makes it dangerous containing boiling water. I now only use it in the oven as a small pot. World's most expensive gravy boat?

I use this for making stock not tea, it sits on my wood burning cooker and the results are excellent..The criticism I have is that the base is too narrow for my gas hob so requires a trivet or diffuser to keep it from tipping over.This model was heavily discounted £50 instead of £140 so it was worth buying.

I have a wood burning cooker and use this a kettle. It boils rapidly so you need to keep an eye that it has not boiled dry.The base is not wide enough to sit on the gas hob so I use a heat diffuser.

Waited for few weeks for the availability of stock, but the shipment was really fast, it took around 5 days from UK to Malaysia, and it reach safely.
