This is a newer model than the one I previously have had but nonetheless, works great for sketching as well as technical drawings. The only inconvenience was that there wasn't a hole which I would have found on the other model, to sharpen the lead when I didn't have my Staedtler lead sharpener. Some markings had rubbed off too but wasn't too fussed because the brand name was still intact and engraved onto the clutch pencil. Despite this, it is still a great pencil which I intend on reusing constantly because it is adaptable with other lead brands and is a handy tool for a variety of drawings, and the HB lead is really handy to have to measure against the other lead thickness.

It's as good a product as any Staedtler one, but I did not realise it did not have a sharpener. Luckily my dad (who got this as part of a Christmas present) did not mind, as he uses a special tool to sharpen pencils which would suit this. But it was disappointing (to be clear, it does not say it has a sharpener, but usually these tools do have an in-built one - not the case here).
