I bought a couple of these plus refills for my sons' school pencil case. They reported back today that they loved them. They were envied by the other pupils and everyone wanted a shot. On a more salient note, my sons also said that the erasers performed very well and only needed a quick couple of rubs to erase graphite. I'll be buying some more!

I was a little worried when I read the description which mentioned 'plastic'. It is not plastic just a really great eraser. This is my second. Not because the first one is used up, but just because it is so useful. It works really well and as I am studying maths I do a lot of pencil work. I love these erasers.

I've been meaning to get hold of a product like this for a long time. My friend used to have some mechanical erasers and there were really useful, especially if you just wanted to erase something small and precise.This is a really useful tool for anyone who draws using graphite pencils.

This cute little eraser winds in and out easily, and is small so you can rub out little marks a larger eraser wouldn't be able to. My only problem is that it sometimes smudges pencil marks, so you have to go over them again or rub them out harder. But besides that, it's awesome.

This eraser is very useful when sharpened to a point and will reach those awkward little places. As a coloured pencil enthusiast I have found the eraser very useful for removing colour from minute parts of the picture. Very handy to have as part of your equipment.

Ideal where a fine eraser is required, especially on artwork. The head can be sharpened with a pencil sharpener thereby giving a very fine tip. The eraser is held nice and rigid in the propelling body. Excellent product as you'd expect from Staedtler.

A good product, the mere image of which should be self explanatory, so here's a technical issue. There's a pressure point near the tip which stops the eraser from moving around too much. It just allows for more accurate erasing. And there you have it.

So handy to have to erase all kinds of little marks from paintwork and walls. And even pencil marks from things which you are marking up for drilling holes or cutting.It won't abrade the paint but it's amazing what it will lift off!

This eraser is great! Good price and nice design. Slide out more as you need it while keeping the unused part clean. Good for rubbing out small and large areas. Rubs pencil out well without churning up the paper. Would recommend.

I have a standard shape staedtler eraser which is very smooth when erasing but this pen-type eraser doesn't quite have the same smoothness. Overall, this eraser is very good to use - especially when erasing small areas.

A good quality eraser, the shape enables you to clearly erase select areas without leaving smudge lines. This eraser also remains fairly soft and doesn't become hard over time. An ideal asset for your pencil case.

It doesn't remove 100% of the pencil mark. I study design and find this really helpful when I need to be precise with what in removing. Last a long time for me would definitely recommend it as a basic rubber.

My favourite "go to" eraser. Mars Plastic is the best so far as I am concerned when it comes to this type of eraser. I get nervous if I can't find mine and have to order three more.

Love, love, love this! :D Staedtler makes the best erasers—they are smooth and erase the very worst/deepest of my scribbles. The narrow shape and holder makes it tidy and precise.

Great rubber, keeps the eraser clean & discourages that grubby drawn on look most kids seem to favour! Bit more expensive than a standard eraser but so far is lasting much longer.
