We got this bath for my son who is now one and still using it daily!The first stage is brilliant and meant that us first time parents could bath him confidently on our own straight away. He loved it from day one and was very comfy in it.Stage 2 we had a couple of awkward baths as we hadn't looped the fastenings correctly to hold the mesh in place but once we had that sorted it was a breeze.The mesh will occasionally need a wash as depending on the temp of the room and the way the bath is stored in between uses it might start to get fousty. If you do leave it for too long it may well get moldy as will anything that remains damp all the time.

I wasn’t going to buy a baby bath this time because my first daughter hated having a bath until she went into a big bath later on and it was too traumatic for everyone! However, I have been too nervous to put my baby in the big bath, even with the support I bought and so decided to get this one based on excellent reviews. What a wonderful product it is! Bath time has been a dream and my little girl loves it. I was dubious about the sling at first because the baby isn’t in the water at all but actually it allows me to gently swish water over her. We put a flannel on her tummy to keep her warm. She sits happily in the sling and doesn’t even mind having her hair washed.

I pondered this purchase for ages - “Do we really need a specific baby bath?” “Is it worth spending that kind of money on it when there’s cheaper options on the market?” “Will it look ugly in our bathroom?” I can tell you now, this is one of the best baby purchases we made! Yes it is pricey, but it’s worth it given how much you’ll use it and how much easier it makes bathtime. Because of the brilliant support insert, it means you don’t have to awkwardly lean into the bath to support your fragile newborn. They can lie there very happily, while you wash them with both hands and without hurting your knees or straining your back. As your baby gets bigger you change the position of the insert,

Came as described. very easy to use i love the sling but my baby is 8 weeks old and the first laying position wont last for much longer. her feet are already looking quite crunched up she tends to put her legs on top of the edge so they hang over out of the bath tub which is not ideal but she seems comfortable. I would recomend this to other mothers for the first bath tub. I had one i bought from argos that had this plastic piece in the middle to stop the baby from sliding down but that was alot worse she still slided down. The other thing with this tub is if ur using the sling in the newborn position you would need a small bucket and a small jug like i use to pour the water on the baby to wash them as you cant get to the water underneath them easily.

I absolutely love this baby bath!! I gave birth to a premature baby who was 2 months early and he came home from hospital at 4lbs5 so this was perfect for us! The sling seat makes him feel so supported and he loves having baths! He is 4 months old now but we still havent swapped to stage 2 as he is technically only the size of a 7 week old baby! There is one thing I would recommend, when not in use in stage 1, remove the back clips of the sling and pull it as far forward as you can, I was storing mine fully done everytime and noticed some sort of stains/mold forming on the top of the sling but since I started pulling the sling off after each bath its removed itself and looks back to normal now.

This cute bathtub is amazing! We have been using it for 9 months now (wanted to make sure I used all stages before I do the review). And it looks like we will be able to use it for quite some time.It has been very comfortable for my newborn. There was a time that my little one was feeling so relaxed and comfy that he fell asleep! We used the first stage for about 4 months. It was quite easy to detach the net and clean it. The hook on the tail makes it so easy to hang and dry.The second stage was a little tricky at first. Baby was sliding down because he was not big enough. But I'm sure it's different for everyone.When he learned to sit we removed the net and he had a whole new world to explore.

This baby bath is one of the best purchases I made for baby. I have no complaints whatsoever. Have used it since birth and baby loves it. Most of the time she falls asleep while bathing - it's that relaxing. And when she doesn't fall asleep, then she cries once bath time is over! Only down side is baby is 6 weeks old now, and she is almost outgrowing the newborn sling. Don't know if we will be able to use it till she starts sitting up at around 4 months.Edit: 5 months down the line and we still love our bath time. Baby is in assisted sitting now and it's super comfy. I was worried about mould as some other reviewers complained about mould but so far I haven't had any such issue even though I haven't been very diligent about hanging out the sling to dry.

Bought this one recently after I noticed the urge of usunga bath tub for a toddler 12+ months. It is easy to fill with water and my toddler seems to enjoy sitting in it and playing with the bath toys. This made bath time way much easier and fun. I wish I purchased this long ago since birth. I bought the angle care which worked well up to 7 months i’d day. But this one has the thing u put in the middle for new born babies which seems really great though I tried it. I think it is better to buy this fron birth instead of purchasing many bath tubs and seats for each stage.Space was it is not too huge and bulky and fits well in our standard sized tub. It has a hanger too.My toddler who is tall (17 month old)

Great product..lovely design, very sturdy and the insert is great. Some other reviewers mentioned baby slipping down in stage two however, I suspect they were failing to roll up and then secure with yellow fabric loops as this, I find creates a lovely seat for baby to sit in almost like a hammock. My baby (3 weeks old and 9lb12) fell asleep when we placed her in the stage one setting so it must be comfy and she fits lovely even though she has slightly longer than average legs. Great seller too.. Sent and delivered nice and quickly , on time and in perfect order. Please support small independent sellers like this who strive for excellence in a market monopolised by huge businesses.

I purchased this Bath for my little girl (LG) from Newborn. She is now 4 months old and we both love it. My LG seems very comfortable every time we use it. Due to the design, I’m able to have both hands free to bathe her without needing one hand, or both, to support her as the seat does it for you. The Bath is available in two colours but we went for the blue to add some colour to bath time. This Bath is excellent if you want to Bath your child anywhere other than the bathroom as I tend to bathe her in the comfort of my living room and not bent over the bath! I’ve become a huge fan of Skip Hop since becoming a mum and this is one of many products I’d recommend from them.

This is a great little bathtub for my newborn. She's happy to stay in the bath for a long time (probably too long). The back support is nice and soft, but snug enough to ensure she doesn't move around, nor does she slide down into the water. The bathtub also grows with the baby, allowing different positions when she gets older.There are two small gripes. One is that although the material is soft, it is also susceptible to bad odours when in my case I am using Oilatum to help moisturise. Secondly, there is a sticker by the feet - remove it. Else it starts coming off after a number of baths.Otherwise, very happy with the skip hop moby smart sling

Okay so the bathtub is lovely, sturdy and fun. However when the baby is tiny he/she lays on the mesh insert and is not submerged in water which makes the baby cold... on the other hand it is very easy for first time parents as they have free hands to wash a slippery baby. My son is 4 months and is now at stage 2(half sitting) and is already out growing the tub, he is simply too long for it and has no room for splashing around. Maybe when is is able to sit on his own he will enjoy the tub again.

Great first bath for the baby! At first it seemed like it’s too big to fit our bath tub, we even wanted to cut plastic sides, but as soon as we tried filling it up with water it went down and was sitting perfectly in our tub and we realised that it’s probably made like this to be very tightly secured. Another great option is that it has a plug to drain water, so you can drain soapy water or use it with regular shower. The seat is very comfy to wash newborn’s body and head. Recommend!

I'm usually scared to hold newborn babies, even mine, yes, and i always dreaded bath time since new born babies are so delicate and difficult to handle. My mum was helping me bath my baby for a month in a traditional baby bath tub and it was a two person job. But since I've bought this bath tub, I'm so much relaxed, baby is relaxed and gets good support and I'm able to bath my baby myself without mum's help. The support net is soft and hold the baby well. It's worth paying the ££

I’m not usually a reviewer but am compelled to now as I love this bath so much! My baby hated being bathed in the big bath, but from the first moment is happy in this. She’s just turned 5 months and reclines very comfortably in the second stage sling. So much quicker than filling a shallow bath in the big bath too! Wish I’d had this for babies 1 & 2, so glad I made the investment a few months in for number 3. Was worried it wouldn’t be worth it but it so is!
