In short these are a perfect choice for families to reduce the chance of little ones slipping over in the tub, but also allow for adults to remove them for their own ablutions. The 'hot' indicators are not 100% trustworthy, and you will need two packs if you intend to give your child full access to the length of bath but the comfort, ease and utility of this product makes it worth the purchase regardless. These are a brilliant alternative to the traditional non slip mat and so avoiding the dreaded black gunge (no matter how hard you try to keep it clean and dry!) and a good compromise for households where adults don't necessarily want to sit on semi permanent ducky stickers or similar. The littlesuckers are strong enough to resist slipping but easy enough to pull up - my three year old can pull them up (she likes the colours) and are actually comfortable to sit on, they do feel a bit squishy weird under your feet though! We've found the colours really useful on an educational level to help her anchoring colours and counting as we get them out and put them away either end of bath times. They dry quickly and can stack on the corner of the bath easily if you don't want them fixed all the time.If you use a bath divider to corral your child to one end of the bath (thus saving water) you will get away with one pack. If you give your child access to the whole bath then 2 packs will give far better non slip coverage as otherwise they will be too spread out.Overall definitely worth the purchase over a traditional slip mat.

I've had these for nearly two years now and I think they do the job fine.Initially I thought a bath mat would be easier but no. These are much smaller to store - I just rip them off and put them in my bath toys bag after lil monster's bath. No going mouldy and smelly like bath mats do.I haven't ever had a prob with sticking. I stick them down before I run the bath. But then I am fussy and my bath is always wiped round/cleaned after each bath. Therefore they are sticking to a clean surface with no soap scum etc.The "hot" dot is U.S. as other reviewers have stated. I use the Avent Bath/Room thermometer for that job (now there's another essential baby product!Maybe I'll give that a review as well!)Six is plenty enough for my bath and I have a corner bath which is on the large side. I spread them out just to give him some grip every now and then. For a tiny or small baby I guess you may need more grips but I have had these since he was tiny and had no problems. I always supervise him in the bath anyway as all mums/dads should. Finally my son knows his colours and has done since about 18 months and I'm positive it is these that have taught him!!! They are so nice and bright and I used to play hide and seek thru the bubbles with the different colours - bit irrelevant to the product but hey!Yup - I'm happy with this.

I bought these to replace a long bath mat. I was fed up with the long mat going mouldy underneath if I left it in the bath, if I picked it up, there would always be a pool of water on the floor where it'd dripped. I couldn't win until I came across this alternative! These are absolutely FANTASTIC! The red spot comes with a temperature colour changing spot, the words 'HOT' appears when the water gets too hot. They are so easy and quick to use. I was a little worried at first that the spots were placed too far apart when spaced out equally in the bath but they have worked well to keep my children in place and above water! They stay in place well and are so easy to pick up and stick on the tiles along the back of the bath (So no puddles of water on the floor, that makes me happy!)But maybe best of all, they are so light and small that I always throw them in the suitcase when going on holiday. I always find holiday homes don't have a kids bath mat so would struggle to hold onto the kids when bathing them or would have to buy one then leave it there.I bought these a few years ago and have only just got round to reviewing them. They still haven't gone mouldy underneath! They haven't faded in colour either and the temp detector still works. I'm so impressed! A must for all parents :-)

I've been using these since my baby turned 8 months and started to stand up in the bath. She's now 14 months. They are brilliant and definitely help to prevent slipping.I purchased two packs as suggested by many of the reviews here. You need twelve to cover the bottom of the bath. They really look fab and fun and my daughter loves to play with them too. They stack neatly on the corner of the bath when not in use and are quick and easy to apply and remove.Soap scum tends to stick to them over time, but I found the best way to clean them is with an old toothbrush. But they are definitely easier to keep clean than a full bath mat. They are also wonderfully portable.I've taken them along on a many a holiday already. The indicators do work. They glow bright white when the water is extremely hot, mid-white when its hot, light-white when it's warm and not at all when it's cold. I also place the indicator ones at the far end of the bath away from the taps. You get a better reading of the temperature that way.All in all I'm very happy with this product and glad I purchased them.

I LOVE these grippy dots and I couldn't recommend them enough!!!I was looking for a solution to stop our babies slipping over in the bath, having already used a bath seat. I remove them after every bath and let them dry around the edge (as pictured) and I have been using them for over 2 months with no mould and no problems. Only more fun at every bath time! When I have someone helping we can also bath our babies together now.My best advice is:- Buy two packs to cover the whole base of the bath- Can be used from 8 months (in our experience)- After running water, check that dots are secured in place- Affordable, easy, durable and portable- Colourful interactive design- Don't rely on the 'Hot'words which appear on the red dots only but it is a nice feature

I think these dots are very nice and in opposition to some other reviews I want to say that they stick well to the bathtub...as long as you wet them before trying to attach them to the bathtub. I also had to buy two packages(ie 12 discs), because one would not be enough for an averaged-sized bathtub at all! The red dot/disk that have the writing "hot" that becomes only visible from a certain temperature work perfectly well, however I prefer the good old "check the water temperature on your own forearm"-method.ONe problem is that the disks are too much fun to play with and my little one always rips them off one by one which in turn means that I sometimes frantically have to reattach them whenMr decides to suddenly stand up.

I ordered two packets and they fit half of the bath, one side only, which is what I wanted them for and fit around the large chrome plug whole cover. The other side has a baby bathseat which my daughter still enjoys sitting in. I still believe I will need to buy at least another packet of these grippy dots to cover most of the bottom of the bath.(We have a small bath too). I hope they're work. I'll write an update later once I've given my baby a bath. They seem to have stuck down ok, they require a good pressing and being held down, nothing too difficult.Update -I've not noticed the dots moving much unless i've not stuck them down properly.

I ordered this product after the basic bath mat I was using for my son became mouldy. I was a bit unsure about spending this much money on bath mats but I'm very pleased I did. These are easy to store, stick to the bath well, are easy to clean as they dry out easily after each bath when I take them out and provide my son with a great deal of amusement as he drops them into the bath for me as I'm running it. They are also great for taking away when travelling as they are so portable. My only criticism is I wish they came in a pack of 8 to cover slightly more of the bath, I don't want to order a complete other pack as that would be too many.

We recently switched to a larger plastic bath for our one year old son. Unfortunately the larger bath was very slippery and we didn't feel he was safe in the bath - too much slipping around with potential for accidents unacceptably high.We bought these grippy dots and they have completely solved the problem. Baby sits comfortably and safety on the dots and does't slide around in the bath. Bright colours also very attractive to inquisitive one year old. Also like that each grippy dot has individual suction cups and so can easily be moved and repositioned as required. Also easy to remove and clean.Excellent product. Highly recommended.

2.3.2015

This is a pretty good product, and is better than a 'traditional' bath mat for sure.Plus points -The inbuilt thermometer- when the mat says 'HOT' it is too hot. Simple enough, and works ok for me.Simple to remove, clean (much easier than a large bathmat - we think its more hygienic as they are cleaner) and replace. No drama to remove when you fancy a bath. They are pretty, bright and interesting for the little one.Negative -We have bought three packs to cover the bottom of the bath. Even two is just a little short of what we think is best, so it may end up being a little on the expensive side if you are on a budget.

Love these, they look great (although a little reminiscent of Mr Tumbles house) and my toddler adores playing with them. They suction onto the bath quite well, though you do need 2 packs for good coverage of an average sized tub. The HOT warning on the red dot works reasonably well though with the power shower temperature control we never need to use it. The surface is comfy to stand on and provides enough traction. They seem very tough, and are reasonably stain resistant - when the bath blocked up they got quite dirty but came reasonably clean after attacking with a scrubbing brush. Havent had any mould issues yet.

We used these in addition to a normal bathmat, these were placed at the tap end as normal bath mats are never long enough to cover the whole bath tub. The kids loved them, they stuck well - even with us standing on them when showering and every now and then I just stuck them in the washing machine with towels on a hot wash. The hot spot is a nice idea but of course I didnt trust it 100% on it's own and used my own common sense of how hot the bath was. We only stopped using them as we ended up buying a full length extra long bath mat as ours needed replacing. Worth a buy for the price though!

Munchkin likes grippy dots, determined to pull them up and mess around with them. In normal use they stay put and are colorful in the bath. One has a hot indicator which is a tad keen to appear at 37-degress-C compared to other monitoring devices, but its not a precession device and its a 'right side' indication if you have no others, maybe when away from home or such.General feedback: Domestic item - is as described, happy with delivery, items are fit-for-purpose. Expectations are achieved in the product chosen, hence no fussing. (hi Dave)

24.8.2014

These really brighten up the bathroom - we have a corned bath and 3 packs don't really cover enough though for our very active toddler. Good when occasionally poo accident in bath as easy to fit in sink to wash compared to the big bath mat we used to have. I have to take them up when I wash my hair in the shower though as my long hair (falling out after new baby!) gets all wrapped around the suckers. Also you can't really leave them down all the time as water traps under them and leads to mould but that happens with all mats.

13.1.2013

I was in 2 minds about this product because of the price and I was not a fan of munchkin products in the past. But these have been a big hit! My 1 1/2 year old was immediately interested in naming the colours and placing them in the bath turned out to be very entertaining for him, but the little monkey CAN pull them off! They look great (even from an adult perspective) and are doing the job just fine. The only thing I will say is that 6 is not enough to prevent a child from slipping so you'll probably have to buy 2 packs!
