We started off with a support you can lay your baby down in which worked great....Until baby became a bit longer and more powerful. He really didn't want to be laying down at bath time and could flip out of the old support. We then changed to this support/seat and honestly don't know how we would do bathtime without it. Done quite a bit of research and this is definitely the best design out there.Using 2 catches and a hinge where the legs on through, the top support circle separates you sit baby in and then secure back together and baby is completely safe in the seat. It's very sturdy and has great suction pads to keep it attached to the bottom of the bath.Baby can wiggle their legs and splash around and it doesn't go anywhere.Slight negatives but I wouldn't let it put you off.1) the catches that separate the top section can be a little fiddly to open at first until you get the knack.2) Think it would be better if the bit baby can lean back on was cushioned. We ended up putting a folded up tea towel there just for baby's comfort.3) Can be a bit difficult to wash baby's nappy area4) If you have a boy you need to be mindful of the hinge where the legs go through....Don't want to get babies willy caught. But like I say don't be put off by the negatives. Baby safety is top priority and this definitely ticks that box. A great purchase and would definitely recommend.

My 6.5 month old daughter dislikes bath time, we had the laying down angel care, which she now hates cos she wants to sit up. I bought a cheap bath seat but I really struggled to get her out of it, so I couldn't use it again, she loved her bath time in this seat.Seems very sturdy, my baby didn't slip around in it, as it has a textured seat. Plenty of room left, im sure she'll still be using it in a year.Latches are at either side, so you need 2 hands to open it, it's a bit stiff to undo, but seems it may loosen up. Closes easily. Super easy to get baby in and out. Suckers are well fixed to the base and sturdy. It sticks to the bath well.I bought this with the baby dam to combat the issue of the hight of the seat and water level/usage.So I spent a little more doing that, but I think this is a sturdy seat with room to grow, and I'm using less water than with the old laying baby bath.

The seat won't stick on my bath tub which has some anti-slipery dots though I assume the problem is my tub and not the product which looks quite well built. What i don't like is the little space for the legs, my son has thick legs at 6 months and it seems too tight. I will give it other tries but i have the feeling this was not money well spent as my child doesn't enjoy it and he loves bath time.Later review. Once the child is big enough, like 7 months the seat will stick regardless on the bathtub and it seems to be spacy enough. Had our first enjoyable bath in the seat and the baby and I like it.I actually like the fact that it is tall as I am using a small tub within a shower cabin and enjoy showering the baby arround without the water reaching a level that is too high.

Really happy with this, the suction pads have just the right amount of hold, and the opening of the front part is super easy for grandparents to use. If one of the suction feet stay stuck to the bath floor like mine did last time, it has a satisfying click back into place. The clips for opening the front work well, and are easy for an adult to open. The muted colours like this are hard to find, and were the main reason I bought it, to match my duck egg, grey and white bathroom. Seeing as it is only used once a week or once a fortnight, didn't want it to look too bright, when being stored in the floor, as it's not a kid's bathroom.I imagine this will last very well and although I was initially almost put off by the high price,I'm glad I bought it.

This is a really good product we have only been using it for a couple of days now and a few faults have come up. One being that once it is suctioned cupped into the bath it does stay stuck onto the bath it can just slip everywhere so when my daughter is playing and having a great time it'll move sometimes which scares the hell out of me hahaha. The other is that sometimes when getting the clips out in order to either take her out of the seat of put her in one side of the seat comes all the out of the holder which i'm fairly sure isn't supposed to happen.Again all in all we enjoy this seat daily and it is sturdy once attached to the bath and my daughter loves it so can't complain too much :P

This little thing made Bath Time safe and fun. Our little one outgrew her baby bath so we moved up to the big bath. Rather than hold her all the time or rely on a mat to ensure she didn't slip we decided to invest in a chair. This chair has been fantastic, held her up well whilst giving her enough room to reach toys and play freely. We even fit in the bath as well. Unfortunately she is now 2 and has out grown being confined to a chair, plus the suction pads had started to show slight signs of black mould in the plastic, even with being cleaned and aired after each use. Would definitely buy again or as a gift! Cousin also bought for his little one after seeing ours in action.

I bought this for both my 6 month old son and 19 month old daughter who has special needs, (she's much smaller than an average baby her age), and had difficulty sitting unsupported in the bath. This has changed bathtime for us. She obviously felt more secure and didn't panic in the water like usual. It was also a success with my 6 month old son who has very chunky legs. He fit easily with room to move. It sticks well to the bottom of the bath without being difficult to remove when not in use.My only slight negative is that it's quite difficult to unfasten. It requires both hands and is stiff and fiddley to undo.

I have no bathtub, so I use it in the shower. It frees my hands, so I like it. Also I use it sometimes as a normal seat for a baby while I wash my face or brush my teeth (keeping an eye on the baby). The suction power could be more, but it’s not an issue for me now (the baby weighs 8 kilos). Anyway you have to use any baby gear under supervision so I don’t think it will be an issue later also. The lock of the handle is secure, and that’s why I prefer to leave it open after being used, so that I don’t have to unlock it before use with the baby in my arms. I find this product really nice and easing the routines.

I got this when my rather large 6 month old began to outgrow his shnuggle bath, there is plenty of room for his legs in this but he's not very happy about not being free to kick properly anymore. The suction can be a bit iffy, I have to press the chair down a few times while filling the bath tub to make sure it's properly stuck down before putting my son in to it.It can be very tricky to open the front part of the chair, I usually need to do each side separately but I suppose that means it's safe,it won't come open by itself. There are a few small issues with the chair but I wouldn't be without it now.

This has proven to be a real help in offering safe support for baby from the age when they can just sit but are not stable when unaided. Frees up both hands for adult to wash baby's body and hair. Also allows baby to play with bath toys. Found it more comfortable for baby to have a flannel over the back of the seat and care is also needed when closing the hinged bar so as not to catch any delicate baby body parts - especially where boys are concerned! The seat is very stable when suctioned to the bottom of the bath and could also be used in a shower base.

I spent ages looking for a bath seat for my 6 month old. He is huge for his age and I struggle to fit him in some seat designs so the opening front on this seat is great. It's a basic colour but actually looks quite smart in our bathroom - making a change from the other neon delights! The suction pads are strong and I've been using this seat every night for several months and they've remained good little "suckers".The plastic is solid and overall a good quality piece of equipment - would definitely recommend.

Suctions really well to the tub. It has litthe tabs that hang off that if you want to remove you twist to release the chair which is handy. It is also quite roomy, but because of this your baby needs to be able to sit up quite well on their own. The release mechanism for opening the chair is quite easy to use. The only some what annoying thing is that you have to tilt the chair after use to dry or it has a small pool of water that collects on thw seat

Not sure what I was thinking, when trying to wash a baby in the bath without a seat of some sort! It was near impossible, my 6 month old loves sitting up in this, Bath time is now a lot more fun! Easy to open and close the frame. My only complaint, and it is a small one, the seat doesnt dry out when the bath is emptied, maybe a small drainage hole in the seat would help!Having said that, i'd highly recommend!

Sticks to bath well and front opens to make it easier for baby to come out. I'm a bit wary that I get his skin caught when it flips down but there's plenty of space to put your hand in to protect. Can be a little tricky to open but it's a minor point. Baby really needs to be able to sit up well and unaided to use this. It does sit quite high so you have to run quite a deep bath.

Really good seat! Bought as my baby grew his Angelcare seat out and needed one he wouldn't get up from and this one is perfect. Stays where I attach it and gives me the freedom to just pass toys to my baby without having to hold him as he's so wriggly! Obvs baby needs to be supervised at all times while in the bath but doesn't need to be held and can happily splash :)
