This is a brilliant bath for baby!! I have had several different bathing options over the years for my children and this is by far the best. The traditional flat bath - difficult to hold baby well and they are laid back which newborns often don't like. The tummy tub type baths - my babies loved but they were awkward to hold baby in and wash them - I always needed 2 people to do properly. The shnuggle bath is the best of both worlds. You can have the water deep enough that they are sitting up to shoulders for womb like experience but there is space to wash them. The little bump on the bottom really does work to hold the baby up - I was a little dubious about it but it totally does the job!!

I would completely recommend this product, our little one loves this and we've had her in this since about 5 weeks old. We originally thought acht we wouln't need a baby bath as it'll just get in the way and never be used so we got one of those foam inserts for the big bath which wasn't great, she lay flat and hated it, could get the water deep enough and our little one is suffering with wind. This bath allows you LO to sit up supported once they develop a little head control although I'm sure it would be good all the same. There is a fill mark and when your LO is in the tub the water comes up nicely to their tummy giving them a lovely warm deep filled bath (great for wind).

Our 6 week old hated baths and would get really distressed and cry the entire time. With this bath she is much more settled as she can be submerged in warm water up to her chest (rather than us having to hold her mostly above the water with the more reclined style of baby bath). It is such a relief to not have to deal with screaming bah times! We also found it to be the perfect size to fit in our sink, which is much easier than having the baby bath on the floor.I am surprised at the reviews that are angry that the bath doesn’t fully support newborns in a seated position. This seems fairly obvious to me that the bath wouldn’t be able to do that - you do still need to support the baby to stop them toppling to the side.

I can't recommend this bath enough.My daughter is 10 weeks old and during that time I've been using a fold-up Mothercare bath which was given to me, but neither of us have particularly enjoyed using it; baths just became a necessary evil. My daughter would look like a worried cat and I would never bath her alone for fear of her slipping.I decided to look for a good bath support instead (as opposed to those foam ones that are probably only best for bathing baby in a sink). I found this Shnuggle tub and debated getting it for a while, but it's brilliant.During your pregnancy you receive so much conflicting advice and will constantly second-guess yourself over what is best - ending up with a sea of products that you don't like or need,

My baby used to absolutely hate bath time, which was a huge source of stress for us. There was absolutely no way she would have her bath without screaming. I realised she was stressing about being held in place by either myself or my husband and I figured I needed to find a way for 'bath time' to be fun. Knowing her I thought she would enjoy being much more independent/autonomous (as much as a 5 months old can be!) during bath time, and this could swing things around.I bought the Snuggle bath tub and the difference was absolutely immediate. I couldn't believe it. She was weary for 5 seconds and then she started to splash about and we have never looked back since.

I looked at this for a few months before deciding to buy it as I thought it was a total gimmick but I have to say I'm really glad I got it. My boy was 6lbs 10oz at birth so pretty small but he can sit up in this by himself - I've been using this since he was 10 days old. I used a normal baby bath for his first bath & it didn't go well - he was slipping & sliding everywhere. I got this and the bum wedge really works well and helps hold him upright - he does fall to the side a bit if I'm not holding him but not enough to get his face in the water. I don't need to hold on to him the whole time he's in it which means I can play with him more rather than grip on to him for dear life.

I bought this recently for my new grandson who is four weeks. I was intending to get a tummytub but they are so expensive since the last time I needed to buy a baby bath 8 years ago. anyway, my little grandson loathed bath time and it was becoming a really stressful time for Mummy, Daddy and Baby. I then found the Shnuggle.........and, like that, he now loves his bath time. Here is what his mummy had to say......"thank you, it was brilliant! He sat up just fine, didn't need help or support and the cushion was good for his head. I thought he'd be too small for it until he sat down in it"I've just bought another for a friend who is also having a baby.Anyway,

A great purchase. Bought it whilst pregnant, 1st baby so did a lot of research. Was nearly put off by reviews saying it’s not suitable for a newborn, my experience is it’s been fine. The bum support helps as the baby is able to sit whilst you hold them up. So I’ve been able to bath her by myself without another pair of hands. I think it depends on whether your baby is happy to sit though, as it gets difficult when they wriggle! The high back is great though as they’re well contained. And you don’t need much water either which is great. Only wish I’d got one with a plug hole as I’ve accidentally poured the water all over the floor whilst emptying it more than once now!

I've been using this for quite a few weeks now and I would say that it is probably the best Bath tub for babies or at least it is in my opinion. My LO is now 10weeks old however I've been using this since he was a couple of weeks old and I've found it very easy to use and to clean afterward. My LO enjoys being in there and I would agree with other reviews that you need two people to bathe baby- however I had a couple of no2 'explosions' where I had to bathe baby on my own and manages just fine! Just had to be even more careful though the design of this really helps. I've now bought this for a friend of mine who is expecting. I'd recommend this to all my friends.

Our baby had a very strong startle reflex from the beginning, meaning anytime he doesn't feel enough support, he'll startle, look horrified and start to cry. This was especially the case with the baby bath tub we had been handed down by friends, so we'd been looking for something a bit smaller, giving baby a bit more support - and this is definitely it! Baby sits comfortably in it, nice back support, bump at the bottom helps baby not to slip (please check you lift the testicles when letting baby sink into the bucket if you have a baby boy, though, because otherwise he may be uncomfortable).... altogether a brilliant investment, would buy again anytime!!!!!

Highly recommend this product especially for first-time parents who may not be very confident bathing a newborn. We have used this since our baby was 2-weeks old and I honestly think this 'bath' has helped our baby enjoy bathtime as at 9 weeks now he is still so happy to sit splashing around as he feels safe and secure while he is still developing the ability to sit and hold his head up on his own. It's so smart and nice to use and we really enjoy seeing our little one kicking and splashing around as we wash him. Worth the money and would imagine this would be a great item as a gift for expectant mums and dads. Thanks Shnuggle!!

This is the first review I’ve written for an item we’ve bought for baby. I can’t say enough about this gem of a product! It’s completely changed our bath time experience with our little guy - I now look forward to this time of day. Before, our little one would cry uncontrollably as we used a different product in our bath to support him. Once we got the shnuggle, that all changed .. he went from being a distressed unhappy baby at bathtime to being very content, giggling and full of chat! We couldn’t get over the difference, it was like night and day.I’m now recommending this product to any new parents - were very very happy ?

This is such a wonderful little bathtub - our 3 month old baby loves it and sits in very safey and happily - it has made bath times such a relief and a pleasure. One of the things I love most is the compact size - it fits easily in our narrow bath so we can fill it with ease and as it is light we carry it into the bedroom where we have our bathtimes. The soft back is lovely and there is a little ridge in the middle which makes it very easy for our little one to sit up supported. It's also small enough that we can take it in the car when we go to stay with my parents who live a few hours away - brilliant - we really love it!

Absolutely love..1st bath my 17 week old has enjoyed. Had fun in..Normal bath to big, water got cold too quickly..Sink. She slipped and slid everywhere.. So couldn't bath her as was constantly holding..Put her in this bath.. She could sit up, with the middle bump holding, propping her upright. Once she realised was safe. Mummy was able to let her play without holding onto her..She had fun..Even managed a little play with her bath toys. Which theres was plenty of room for also..I was able to wash her properly, sufficiently.. Once she realised could splash abt in water also... Well let's just say Mummy got soaked..??
