This bath mat has made the transition from baby bath to big bath very seamless. My daughter loves crawling about in the bath which makes bath time potentially quite scary for me! However this bath mat means she hasn't slipped once and it is made of very comfortable, cushioned material. The kneeling mat is certainly saving my knees! The suckers are very strong so the mat sticks well to the bath and the length is great too, covering nearly the whole bath. We only just moved my daughter into the big bath and don't think I would have used this before now (she is 8 months) as unless you bought a support you'd have to hold the baby at all times. A great purchase!Update: I have just thrown the mat out (my daughter is now 17 months)as there was mould ingrained in it. I'd tried machine washing it a couple of times) I just bought a cheap bath mat from Tesco - it doesn't cover the whole bath but my daughter doesn't crawl around as much now. I think this bath mat is good for the transition to the big bath for peace of mind as it covers the whole bath but don't expect it to last.

So i bought this bath mat roughly a couple years ago fully expecting to replace it within a couple of weeks due to some of the reviews saying it grew mildew rather quickly. Well, I'm still using it to this day and am considering replacing it with the exact same one (its now FINALLY growing the mildew). Its been a godsend when bathing my 2 young children and I can't live without it now. Word of warning, make sure you press down each suction cup, bit of a pain but it's not going to kill you. the kneeling cushion i didn't use as much, only when i remembered! but when i did use it it felt really good. i'm surprised it didn't grow any mildew as i had issues with my bathroom.i always take it off and let it to dry either draped on the bath or sometimes just suctioned on the bath wall. if you think about it, buying 2 normal bath mats from the supermarket would cost roughly the same as buying 1 of this.

Got this when my baby outgrew his bathseat as he was getting very wriggly and strong but kept scaring himself (and me!) by slipping around in the bath. The clevamama mat works brilliantly to stop his sliding and has given him several months of happy, confident, fun bathtimes (he LOVES his bath and I have to say I don't think he would if the slipping had continued). I have never found that the suckers weren't strong enough but live in a soft-water area so maybe hard water leaves more residue on the bath and reduces the suction for those who have had problems. The mildew (around the suckers) did unfortunately start to appear after only a few weeks despite it being hung up to dry daily.(the material is a foamy rubber so not all the water drains out). I have tried to combat the mildew with sterilising tablets but this does not completely resolve the issue.Overall I would recommend.

I bought this bath mat as the one that we had didn't cover enough of the bottom of the bath and my little one kept slipping. It caught my eye as it is described as a full length mat. It is nice and long, although for perfection would have been about 8 inches longer! It is made of quite squishy material which must be quite comfortable for littles ones to sit and stand on. There are lots of suckers on the bottom so it doesn't move around, although make sure you get them stuck down before you add water as the bath mat wants to float otherwise!! It came with a free kneeling cushion which we haven't used much as my little one was a bit older when we got it so we don't tend to kneel by the bath as we did when he was tiny, however this would have bee really useful back then!!Overall I would recommend this product as it was less expensive than many others, but does a really good job

Bought out of necessity as our baby kept wanting to stand up in the bath but kept slipping and hurting herself. This mat is long enough to cover the whole length of our bath (except the plughole), though we do have a slightly shorter than average bath. Other reviews mention mould/mildew formation...we have had the mat for several months now and it is still in excellent condition. I think this is because I always rinse the mat after every bath time and dry it off with an old flannel, then hang it over the shower curtain pole to fully air dry overnight. Might sound like a faff, bit it only takes a couple of minutes and it keeps it looking nice & clean. Even if it starts to look tired in another few months,I'd still be happy to buy another one. The kneeling mat is also nice, especially on tiled floors.

I bought this mat for my 8 month old son when he was transfering from the bath seat to just sitting in the bath. I think it is absolutely BRILLIANT!!! We push the suckers down as soon as there is a little water in the bath and that means that it stays stuck. It is a good lenght and covers most of the bath length. We remove it from the bottom of the bath and just stick it to the tiles on the wall every night to let it dry out and have so far had no problems with mould.Six months on we are still very happy with it. It is still mould free and has never come loose or caused my son to slip. My only slight grumble and it is very very very slight is that you can see where the suckers are due to alight brownish discolouration but it is not mould and does not affect its performance.

I used to freak out at the thought of bathing my girl without help, mainly as I was scared she could hurt herself or knock her head. This was one of the smartest buy, it made me feel much more comfortable bathing my baby in the tub once she outgrew her bath seat. The only downside, was, It is a pity that mould spots started appearing after a few months, as the air does not pass as easily between the tiny holes, so it takes slightly longer to dry than the common bath mats. The thing is, by the time it started deteriorating, my baby was perfectly able to sit up and we could go back to the un-cushioned type of bath mat with larger holes and air gaps. This has been absolutely perfect for as long as I needed to use it for.

I read some reviews that complained about the mould accumulating - of COURSE mould will accumulate, it's a BATH MAT! But we have had this for a couple of months now - i followed another suggestion in one review and stick the mat to the tiles above our bath to dry, and so far there is little to no mould on it! When the mould does appear i will just clean it!My little boy is 6 months old and can sit filmly on the bath mat in the water with little support from me. And yes there are a lot of suckers on it (58 in fact!), but i don't see how that is a problem, as it just ensures the mat is stuck down firmly.Excellent bath mat and the kneeling pad is a little extra, but not a deal breaker for me.

Before buying was slightly concerned about mould problems in a few of the reviews as we have a damp bathroom, but after 2 months not even a spot of mould yet. After giving our child a bath we just rinse bubble bath off and leave to dry unturned on edge of bath. Mat is soft and comfortable for toddler, plenty of sucksion pads to stick it securely and kneeling cushion comfortable. Only thing is I presume that it won't last as long as thin rubber mat that you would use for years for showering in the bath as I think the soft foam material will eventually disintegrate, but no sign of damage yet after 2 months.

My toddler won't sit down in the bath so I wanted something extra long to stop her from slipping while walking around after her toys. I could have done with it being a little longer actually but it's very good.Lots of people are saying it goes mouldy but it's an absorbent material rather than a wipe clean mat so you have to really dry it after use and definitely don't leave it in the bath. My daughter doesn't get a bath every single night which helps and I make sure I hang mine up to dry on a rack attached to the radiator. I have had this mat for quite a while now and had no issues whatsoever.

I ordered this mat as it was bigger than the others and with 2 kids under 3 and them being bathed together, this was a god send. It is well made and nice and cushioned on there little bums and knees. Covers the bottom of our bath so they are not likely to slip on any bit of it while playing. The knee cushion was a nice extra, although my daughter doesn't let me use it, its her bath pillow!!As with all bath mats tho, to prevent mould growing, take it up after each bath or shower, rinse and let it dry properly. We have lost a couple of bath mats to mould!

Oh how I wish I'd seen this sooner! My bath is a Victorian claw footed one, in desperate need of re-enameling, as a result I had to bathe my baby in her baby bath long after she'd grown out of it, for fear of scraping her skin. The full length mat protects her completely, covering the surface and providing a soft, non-slip surface, it clings well by means of lots of tiny suction cups, and rolls up really well for storage. I actually use it for my own baths too, no longer does it feel like I'm lying on broken glass! The knee pad is an absolute godsend.

This bathmat is the best I've found offering non-slip protection for the whole bath - especially useful if you are bathing more than one child at a time. It is made of an absorbent material however that takes a long time to dry - even when hung up. Consequently it becomes fusty quickly and can become mouldy. We have found that adding some bleach to the water around once a week removes/prevents mould growth and fusty smells but it would be better if it was made of a non-absorbent material.

I have now bought two of these, which shows that I like them. the first lasted one and a half years before it went mouldy - this with regular use. I don't class that as too bad. After using I hung up on the wall above the bath using the very end suction cups. It is the sort of material which absorbs water, hence it needing drying, but is nice and cushioned - and long enough for when I have both children in the bath. Lovely colour too.

This is a wonderful bath mat. It really works at keeping my 4 month old in place in the tub. He's a splasher and used to slip all over when I hold him in the bath. I was worried his head/neck would slip from my hand so I got this bath mat and it works great. It's a nice soft foam material and the suction cups work great. The knee pad was a great bonus and has really saved my knees, giving my son some extra splash time :-)
