I wanted a lighter stronger tripod, as I tend to leave the others at home due to weight, but although this cost alot, with the G10kx ballhead, I can without doubt say it was worth every penny. It holds my D810 + 70-200 2,8 with ease, and is much sturdier than it might appear, even when extended, using the centre column. I was near to going for a Gitzo, but after reading the many good reports on Sirui tripods, from pro photographers, I went for this little beauty, and if you do, I'm sure you wont regret it.
