I've not had it long but so far I'm impressed.I already have a monopod from Sirui which has performed extremely well for wildlife photography, easily handling the heavy weight of a DSLR and super-telephoto lens, so when I wanted a very light tripod for landscapes while walking, I had no problems going back to them. The 024X is generally flexible enough to use on difficult terrain and I like that they give you an additional short centre column for low level use (as well as allowing the standard centre column to be reversed).I've even tested the ball head with the heavy wildlife set up and it has no trouble at all handling the weight (3+kg),
