Purchased this as my current overlocker is temperamental and is a 3 & 4 thread only. This overlocker compliments my singer heavy duty machine beautifully. Its fast and sturdy dealing with denim and fleece with ease. The free arm feature made overlocking hem on skinny Jeans a breeze. A bit more fiddly to thread but good tutorials on YouTube to help with that. Only down side so far is it noisy so using it late at night (when I like to sew) always makes me conscious of how loud it is.

I’ve made a dress out of light weight jersey with this overlocker since I bought it, so I’ve had a good test very pleased.I changed the thread from the four coloured threads included. You need to buy good quality polyester thread for an overlocker the thread I swapped to wasn’t good and broke.I couldn’t understand the instructions for the left lower looper but I watched a YouTube video and got it back working well again.It is easy to thread once you understand it.

As with all overlockers, the threading is a little fiddly . The only issue I have had with it this that the whole machine moved with the vibrations of the sewing but easily solved with a piece of rug non slip underneath. Cleaning it is a little fiddly, particularly under the presser foot and the bottom blade. I used the brush that came with the machine but am going to invest in a small paint brush to make it easier..

I watched a couple of youtube videos on how to set up the machine & how to use it.He demonstrated the different stitches & it was really easy to follow.I also read through the instruction manual so it all became clear in my head to follow.I love it, it gives a professional finish on seams.The pictures on threading are easy to follow.It is quick, it takes some getting use to in keeping it at a steady pace.

Great portable overlocker. I would recommend for home use however i wouldn't call it heavy duty. The only struggle i had was with removing and reassembling the second needle when needed - was very fiddly and not enough space for my fingers to reach the hole for the needle. Not too loud. Has suctions underneath for stability. Easy to use.

I was so impressed by Argos my item was ordered at 2pm and delivered by 7:30pm the same evening. The overlock works well on all kinds of fabric pleased with my choice as this is my second overlock I have found this overlock easy to thread and use

Easy to use and thread. Good sturdy machine and capable of more than just overlocking. Comes set up with clear instructions. Well worth the extra for a heavy duty machine. Reviewed on wife’s behalf as it was a present for her.

Had ago with normal sawing machine about 20 years ago 4 or 5 goes later gave up Now aged 66 bought this machine and 3/4 YouTube vids later up and going fantastic machine running out of stuff and ideas to do 10/10

It comes ready to go, pre-threaded and colour coded thread like on the pictures so you can literally get it out the box and go!really easy to use, I am a first time overlocker user and its been great!

I decided to treat myself to the overlocker . I have been sewing scrubs for our great NHS. So my job has been made much easier and faster and very professional looking .
