Absoluely love this - even with the offer i thought this was expensive but it is an investment and i dont plan on buying another so I bought for myself on a buy now pay later which meant it wasnt as difficult for me to pay for this.This is very lightweight yet sturdy. The instructions meant a novice like me could make my very first cushion. They are extermelly easy to read with pictures.The only downfall was I felt the lead was a little short - you need to be close to the socket but not that it would put me off the purchase.I would high recommend this.

Wanted to upgrade from my faithful and sentimental old machine. Bit worried as what to choose but read other reviews and decided on this model. Well I can honestly say you will not be disappointed. I have just completed a viscose blouse with button placket and an A-Line skirt in a heavy weight fabric, and am pleased with all the functions. Accessory pack is good too and instruction booklet very informative. I purchased separately a sewing machine bag as the machine only comes with dust cover.

It has been a few years since I did any sewing so I thought I would restart with a more up to date machine. It had good reviews and I was not disappointed. The instructions and set up are easy to follow and the DVD is a very worth while watch. I have just made my first top in years and I can say it was so smooth and quiet and was so easy to change the stitch length and alter the tension and to be able to check on how much bobbin is left ia a bonus. I would recommend this machine to anyone .

I love this new (for me) Brother AE2500 sewing machine which I have just bought as a replacement for my previous machine - an expensive but very well built Pfaff - which cost £245 forty years ago and has served me well. It has now seen better years and started to develope problems so rather than waste money on expensive repairs I decided to try this Brother machine, which incidently has a lot more features, and is much lighter for me to handle and I am delighted with it.

I have been sewing since the 1970's and thought it would be a good time for a new sewing machine. I was not disappointed. This machine is light easy to use and efficient. I love the drop in bobbin which is so much less fiddly than front loaders. Although it is not recommended for quilting, it quilts nicely. On straight lines with the feed dogs up it is excellent and the little darning plate covers them for free arm.Would recommend for a beginner or old hand like me.

Love this machine, my last brother machine lasted me 40yrs, so when looking at price range. I decided on this one as it had the most reviews and it’s an upgrade from my old model. Love the ease of the bobbin. Love the smooth flow of the sewing as my old one was getting a bit rough. But still works. So if this lasts as long I shall be very happy. My granddaughter loves the flower pattern on the side, which gives you a smile and gets you in the mood for sewing love it

The sewing machine works a treat and is very easy to set up. Everything seems to work just as it should. The wife wanted one for Christmas and we've both been using it since then without any issues. So far, everything seems sturdy and well put together.It does have a good amount of features, more than the average person would ever use really (which isn't a bad thing if down the line you wanted to get fancy with your sewing!)It's a good, solid, bit of kit.

I bought this sewing machine for my 16 year old daughter who was very pleased with it. It is very pleasing to the eye and has a good variety of stitches. The only disappointing thing was in the description is said it had a one step buttonhole function, which is incorrect. I rang the telephone number provided for Brother who also confirmed it was described incorrectly. It was one of the reasons we chose the machine however we are still pleased with it.

I thought I deserved a new sewing machine as my last Brother was 23 years old. This machine is lightweight and compact for easy storage, the top loading bobbin is a fantastic idea, no more fiddling underneath. I had set up and was sewing within minutes. I probably won’t use all the stitches but i wanted the flexibility of changing the stitch size and another cheaper one didn’t have that option. It was a pleasure to use, why didn’t I buy one sooner?

Brilliant machine. Sturdy but not heavy. Easy to use . Instructional DVD is very clear and easy to understand. The speed is easily controlled by the foot pedal.Bought the machine to replace a very reliable 33 year old machine which had seen it's best days. Looked around, read reviews and decided on this Brother.If you are replacing a machine or if you are buying one for the very first time you will not be disappointed with this little beauty.

Primarily purchased to make curtains for my home.Very easy to use - Plug in and Go.Brilliant little machine, which has coped well with all weights of material - I like my curtains to be fully lined and attach the lining in with the header tape, the machine had no problems dealing with the bulk of material. Also, my eight year old daughter has made some lovely bunting for her bedroom - the foot peddle is easy to control.***** five stars.

As the title suggests it’s ‘sew’ easy! I’m a back to basics beginner having not seen for a while and it couldn’t have been easier to set up. Lots of stitch choice and bonus of stretch stitch and availability of add on overlock foot to purchase easily is great.Machine looks lovely with the pink and purple floral pattern is compact but VERY sturdy. I have easily been able to complete several projects already and am excited to continue!

I deliberated for a long time over which machine to buy. I wanted something fairly sturdy (to do a wide range of fabrics) but simple to use. This definitely fits the bill. It was recommended to me by a friend and I have not been disappointed. A good machine for beginners and intermediate sewers. Changing stitch and tension is incredibly easy and smooth.I bought the Argos sewing machine bag to go with it.I would recommend this product.

My old sewing machine finally bit the dust during lockdown. I turned to Argos to see if they had any reasonable robust ones for sale. Great range of machines but this one fit my needs and my pocket. A good choice of stitches, easy to thread bot spool and needle, simple to set up. Instructions clear no need to use the dvd which came with it. Overall I am very satisfied with my Brother AE2500 machine!

I had never touched a sewing machine in my life and bought this to make face masks for the family members. The dvd instructions were very good to help with the bobbin and threading. After that it was super easy.The only thing I find missing in this model is an indicator for the stitch selected. It is available in higher spec models I believe. But yes very happy with the product so far.
