Managed to get it for £45 and for that price is has been very good value.Ratchets feel strong although the 3/8" one has slipped a couple of times when I have been hard on it but worked fine afterwards.Nice range of spanners from 10mm to 19mm (would be nice to have a 8mm and 15mm but hey). 3/8" drive sockets are very good quality too but again a 7mm hex drive socket would have been a very useful addition and maybe a t25 at a push (t20 and t30 included though).Long 1/4" sockets up to 13mm are very handy as are long 3/8" sockets in the bigger sizes.Minor points - spark plug sockets can fall out of top part when opening,

Silverline 90 piece mechanics tool setThis is a great value comprehensive tool kit.I have lots of sockets from lots of sets all mixed up and with several sizes missing. I thought it was about time I treated myself to a new set. We have a smallholding and I am always using tools and felt it time to retire my box of odd sockets.It comes in a plastic box and contains the following items6 piece spanner set 10 – 19mm sizes,Quarter inch deep drive sockets 6 to 13 mm sizes,3/8 th’s deep drives from 10 to 13mm3/8th’s drive screwdriver set,2 x 3/8th inch spark plug sockets 16 and 21 mm,¼ inch drive set with handle metric and imperial sizes,Large selection of sockets,Three socket handles,Two extension bars,Universal joint.The quality is very good for such a lot of tools at this price.

Fantastic product. I want to start out in the car mechanics world and needed a starter set of tools. This one came up as a suggested and for 55/56 pound (price when i bought it) you cannot beat it. Contains all the ratchets needed along with most sockets you need as well as torx, pozi, flat heads etc and the most common sized spanners. Also contains extensions and spark plug sockets.So really as a starter set it is mint. Cheap price, good quality and most you will need to start with.Chuffed to bitsMy delivery was swift eve delivery so ordered that morn and it was supposed to be here but it got damaged but next day i recieved a replacement.So 10/10 must buyIf a professional mechanic still good but I'd go for something a little more sturdy.Love the silverline products.

I received my tools on time so thanks to Amazon for that.After i got my tools realizing the tools where of amazing quality yet the box is quite bad, but who the hell cares about the box.I realised if you go onto silverlines website and register your tools you get a lifetime warranty, after i started using the tools, the 3/8 ratchet kept clicking back into the middle position after trying to loosen bolts, i emailed silverline and they are sending me a new ratchet out. The customer service is excellent and any silverline tools are recommended since they give you a lifetime warranty!

Fantastic set to get started with. I spent HOURS researching and hunting through the internet for some tools for my husband who's starting to train in car fixing, engineery, motorbike etc type stuff, (can you tell I know nothing of these things?) and opted for this set. He's over the moon! He may just be being polite of course, but the selection and quality at least are very good. Can't argue with the lifetime guarantee either - just make sure you register online within 30 days of buying!

HiFor the price its a super set and very high quality compare to other tool sets you would buy for this price. Will do like 90% of jobs. Lacking a little on the 1/2 sockets (especially if you are a fiat owner), but this goes for all set like this unless you buy like a Tang tool chest which is not going to happen if you are considering this. If your unlikely to use 1/2 inches that often BUY IT

Very good quality socket set and a bargain at this price. Contains a good selection of sockets in both metric & imperial, including spark plug sockets. Really useful to have some of the sockets in longer lengths and 3 sizes of extension rod. Good carry case, with clear slots for each tool, so you know which one you've left on the garage floor.

I bought this as a starter set, at the same tome a friend of mine bought a snap-on set. The ratchets have outlasted the big brand set.Quality of tools are 10/10, the chrome finish is nice and the ratcheting mechanism is amazing.I would recommend this set to anyone looking for a kit, you can also register with Silverline for warranty

The actual tools are excellent. Good quality and the box has a nice selection, certainly everything I needed.The box however is a hard moulded plastic and does a terrible job of holding the pieces in place. Every time I pick the box up by the handle most of the sockets fall out and end up rattling around in the case. :(

I am quite pleased with this toolbox although one of the screws from the medium ratchet fell off at some point and that's the most used one...probably my fault as i may have forced it too much so it receives 4 stars (would have been 5 if the screw would not have fallen off).

Good value for money. Haven't use the set yet. Think for tinkering about occasionally ideal for major everyday use might have get something a bit more robust. Not up to the snap on quality! I also have the full set of spaners in a roll mat. Again good value...

Overall a good set for the money. I was slightly disappointed that the 3/8 drive rachets movement isn't as free turning as it should be and the socket ball bearing release button doesn't function, but for the money the set is pretty good.

This kit is great for doing the odd jobs on the car you previously could not do. Tools are of high quality and caover a range of tasks you may need to carry out in the driveway. It is a great starting piont to add to as you go along.

Purchased these as I have 2 socket sets that have bits missing as they are nearly 20yrs on pleased with the quality and look. Having a lifetime guarantee is brilliant as I do a lot of DIY around the house and work on my cars.

A good solid socket set that will last me many years. My only real gripe is that case has a design flaw, in that if you carry it vertically, some of the pieces will have fallen out of their places.
