I purchased this item back when it was a mere £0.78, however I do not begrudge the sellers for increasing their asking price for an item of such quality. The item was delivered rapidly and without ceremony, and I immediately felt like more of a man upon opening this most hallowed of tools. In my mind, I was now in the upper echelons of manliness alongside the likes of my Dad, Keith the Plumber and Tommy Walsh. The quality of the bleed key is apparent in its reassuring weight, and it fit my bedroom's radiator like a glass slipper to the foot of Cinderella.I removed what can only be described as a 'metric f***-tonne' of air from my radiator system, and only half an hour later was able to take off my third pair of socks.Soon after my breath no longer misted in the air of my bedroom, and my teeth stopped chattering.

The delivery was excellent, about 2 days despite appalling weather conditions. On the bleed key, it is a very robust design although some might find that the small cross bars make it difficult to use without a pair of pliers on stubborn valves. It fits the valves on my radiators (about 6mm across the flats) and I only had to use pliers on one radiator. The key that I received was not the same as described by Mr Brady. It has an internal square section and not, as his key, a circular internal with rivets (this appears to be a different design from the present one.

This is the first radiator bleed key I have owned (or borrowed) which has not split (either at the socket or at the flappy ear bits) at the mere sight of an old rusty 1900s tenement building's central heating system. Completely robust in a way that one-piece, cast keys never will be. The key's "handle" is a tiny bit sore on the hands if you are bleeding a real belter of a rust-bucket, but then you'd be using mole grips or pliers anyway. This will stand up to any bleed valve on any radiator that is salvageable, and a lot that are not.

Well what can one write on a radiator bleed key? This does exactly what it says it does, you can buy ones that are harder wearing and have different fittings, but for the cost you can keep a couple of these handy for the draw for when it comes time to put on your central heating and find the radiators not getting hot due to air build up.Just remember to use inhibitor in your system and keep a towel handy just in case!

Ever since moving into my own place, I've dreamed of getting my very own Radiator Bleed Key. Now I have it, I can rest assured knowing that if any bleeding needs doing, I am the man with the key.It is very small, yet weighty, and has a perfect home in my sideboard drawer along with odd screws, bits of string, twistix, and silica gel packets.I would recommend this item, which is well priced and quickly delivered.

If you're loosening overtightened valves, this key definitely beats the zinc ones, which have a tendency to break. It's also small enough to work on the radiators with the valve facing the wall, where you don't get much room.On the other hand, the design is not very ergonomic, meaning it is a bit harder to work with.Still great, though, and totally robust.

This radiator key is of a robust construction but is very small. Considerable effort is required to break open the air valve manually using the key and I think that most users will resort to the use of an additional mechanical leverage device rather using the key manually. If you were a central heating engineer this key would be too small for daily use.

Previous ones I have had have always bent over time, these are much stronger, different shape thought. Not to easy to just use your fingers but a vice grips saves your fingers very well. Overall, these with a vice grips is all you need, work perfectly. Heavy duty and handy to have a spare back up in case you loose one.

What more is there to say :)Well actually it is sturdier than it's monkey metal cousins and it will fit on those awkward bleed valves on the rear of rads that face the wall. It will fit singles and doubles. If you have any of these type of rad you will know what I mean. If you haven't then count your blessings.

It did an excellent job with two different types of radiator bleed connectors. It did require strength and good grip to turn at the start - but the bleeding point was probably in that position a long time, so just used a rag to get a bit of extra grip at the start and after that it was easy.

Excellent small radiator bleeding key, especially if your radiator valve faces the wall. If you have particularly tight valves, it can be a little uncomfortable to try and turn this, but with a buffer of a small towel, this is a very small and sturdy tool. Fantastic little thing.

This bleeder will bleed a 7mm, that's a 'seven millimetre' radiator bleed nut. So if you don't want to waste money on it and have to buy another because it might not fit then i suggest you measure the radiator bleed nut.Oh before i forget. Make sure you measure diagonally.

Any student should be in possession of one of these, getting a student accomodation landlord round is nearly impossible at times, having a bleed key handy means we can top up our own radiators without waiting weeks! The item itself is well made and works great, very nice!

As we all know , we most often get what we pay for, this is cheap but in this case, for the average home user, buy this. It might not stand up to repeated use by a professional but it is more than good enough to use on that occasion it is needed. Five stars in my book.

This key is great. It's small enough to fit into awkwardly positioned radiator slots, and strong enough to cope with the assorted stuck valves my flat has. For the really tough valves, this doesn't have a lot of leverage on its own, but an adjustable wrench (my
