Bought this for the bike i once had many moons ago, obviously I wanted to save on the weight of carrying a full set of spanners (which I have as well now) I do prefer fixed spanners but on the move I wanted a fix all solution and this was it. I found it in Homebase so you won't see "verified purchase" above my review. The Build quality is super, I'm pretty sure it's all steel, what a ruckus if it wasn't! you'd have bits flying off lol..pretty standard to have tool made of all steel and no working/moving parts are plastic, that's reassuring.good rubber grip and the opening diameter will be great for just about any job domestic or commercial around the home, D.I.Y project or on a construction site..

I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer and user of this type of tool.I have been actively using Stanley tools for 50 years plus all the way back to “fixing” my first bicycle.Now I have grown boys and farmed out my old tools (or had them “borrowed” thus the need to renew and replace.The older spanner’s were plain metal. It gave and still gives a solid grip but these are gentler to my old hands with a moulded covering over the metal handle.The adjustment for size moves easily under my thumb.Thus it does everything that it is meant to do. The price is fairly good, better than the high street superstores and in my case includes delivery as I am a prime member.

I bought this to keep if needed in my tool bag, for those minor emergencies at home. As a Stanley max steel wrench I was slightly disappointed. I haven't used it yet, and i'm sure it will do the job. At this price, the finish & precision is hardly there. The jaw is not really Stanley quality and is a bit loose.The jaw is nice & thin though making accessability easier. This will do nicely. If you want a more exacting tool, they are available but at least twice the price.

It feels good in the hand and has a comfortable handle, however the fact that the handle is plastic at the end means i cant use it for leverage for other tools which is a bit upsetting. The adjustable part of the adjustable spanner has quite a bit of play in it but nothing that stops it from functioning. would definitely recommend for the price.

Not a whole lot you can say about this. Build quality is excellent...very smooth and precise jaw mechanism (better than my old cheap wrench). Grips anything up to 33mm wide very firmly, allowing you to get good leverage on the most stubborn of fittings/fixtures (the 200mm references the handle/shaft length).Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this as needed a slightly larger wrench for a home plumbing job. Well made, sturdy and easy to use. As with all wrenches, had to keep my thumb on the wheel to stop it self adjusting in use. (This is a bug bear of mine). The rubber grip is comfortable and it did the job I needed it for so yes I recommend this.

Been using during some plumbing I have been doing at home, perfect size for what I needed, very sturdy design and doesnt seem to slip once you have set the size. You can always rely on stanley for quality. I will possibly buy another size but really happy with the quality of the grip, size and weight.

Those of you of a certain age will know the rest. So, down to business. This adjustable wrench is an absolute must in your toolbox. Very precise and so much better than those 'cheapies' that we've all got somewhere. It's not expensive, if you're always tinkering, get one. You won't be disappointed

Good quality spanner.We used it to replace a bar thermostat shower (see separate review of the shower itself).We have had problems in the past with an adjustable spanner ‘slipping’ during use and we’re pleased that this wasn’t an issue with this one.Highly recommended.

Nice wrench. Fairly solid feel and good tight grip. Only thing to be mindful of is that the handle is chunkier than some other wrenches, so if you're working in a tight space (under a sink doing taps for example) a less chunky one would be better.

I needed to replace a bathroom sink tap and didn't have the right tools for the job! This product was perfect and offered tremendous grip when in-doing and tightening my connections to the water pipes. Very good product.

I needed an adjustable wrench and couldnt find one in the toolbox so ordered this. It looks great but before I tightened any nuts my son borrowed it... havent seen it since but he tells me its great... I should get one

A low priced tool with a big price feel. Very easy to adjust with smooth movement of the jaws. There is a little play in the jaws but nothing excessive and nuts can be gripped tightly.Very good value for money.Jim

Bought 2 of these to tighten a leaking 15mm isolation valve behind the bathroom sink, done the job, gripped well what more can you say. Well known brand aswell. Great to have a couple for some DIY around the house.

Bought this as it was only a little dearer than the size spanner I needed for the job in hand. It worked well and now that I have two wrenches, I should be able to tackle any nut up to the maximum size.
